One analogy would be that this fandom to me is like a black hole. I've passed it's event horizon and there is no escape for me.

In 'simpler' terms:

I really like how with this fandom I can actually use my obsession for space and put it into use and then have a semblance of sounding smart.

I mean, honestly. If someone came up to me and told me that jabbing a needle in my eye *shivers* would give me cool powers/abilities, but at the expense of my humanity, I'd do it in an instant.

As you can see, I take my job very seriously.
