So I know some of you saw my message yesterday, but today I finally have time to elaborate on it. To recap:

SERIOUSLY, I SUBMITTED A STORY TO A MAGAZINE AND IT'S ACTUALLY GETTING PUBLISHED!

I am so totally shocked by this development because I submitted to this magazine months ago (it's run out of a college nearby) and I never heard anything back, so I'd just assumed I'd failed and shouldn't have expected anything I'd written to actually be published, but yesterday, I noticed that I'd missed an email notification so I went to check it and—

Needless to say, I was shocked and wasn't sure what to say, though I did almost fall down the stairs quite nearly screaming for my mom. After that, I had a bit of fun and made this:

And that's the story of how I'm now going to be a published author. *tries not to scream but fails*
