(17) Level 1-5
I apologize as I said the second part would be 30 chapters and more violent. I am no longer interested in the Haikyuu fandom so much as I was months ago, so I'm going to end the book after I give out the planned routes.
🚨INTENSE CHAPTER AHEAD🚨
Take attendance here!😀👏
Reader POV
I walked around the tower, looking for the key to the next door that would bring me to the next level.
The rules are simple: you have to take certain tests to get the keys to unlock doors to the upper floors. As you go up, the tests get more difficult.
Each contestant is armed with a gun that carries a single bullet that they can use on themselves, a student council member, or another contestant.
I was battling Ushijima and Oikawa up the stairs as the remaining members of the Inarizaki student council were waiting at each floor except for the final.
Where Keiji was.
I was on the first floor with Oikawa and Ushijima.
"We should stick together," Oikawa was trembling as the two men followed me.
I shook my head. "No. You heard them. Everyone for themselves."
"Fuck...I really didn't care so much for studies," Ushijima confessed. "I regret that now."
I don't fucking care.
I could hear the clicking of cameras so it proved to me that we were being watched.
Probably by Kita Yumie since the student council is in on this.
My eyes narrowed at the idea of Yumie organizing the student council pet concept.
What was her motive?
I knew she worked for the Tsukishima family long ago, but what the hell does she want?
It's no surprise that my family lead the underworld, but just how extensive was it?
And how does it tie into the Kita and Bokuto family?
I understand the Bokuto family since they were one of the four families in Blood Union, but why the Kita family?
Shinsuke's mother divorced the father so why does Shinsuke want to be in on his father's side business?
I had many questions and they would be answered soon enough.
However there were five student council members left and five floors.
One of the floors doesn't have a monitor.
The air currents sound different when there is a basement.
The fifth student council member must be in the security room.
I stepped on a certain tile and a screen lit up.
It displayed a diagram of a black hole connecting to a white hole.
A question appeared.
If a black hole is theorized to have a connection to a white hole, what is the effect of the event horizons?
I rolled my eyes and tapped an answer on the screen.
Nothing escapes and nothing enters. It's a void space.
The program beeped correct and a key came from the wall.
Now my next task is to locate the correct door that takes me to the staircase up.
I had a feeling the towers had rotated based on the change of the wind currents that went through the filtered air ducts.
"Fuck..." I cursed as I walked to the color door that matched the hex code. "I barely remember this shit."
Keiji POV
"Kid, you do know what will happen when she gets here? Or if one of the others gets here?" Kosaku asked me.
I kept quiet, eying the gun in the ash-blonde's hand.
Don't move until I have to.
My mother and I had already planned this but not entirely.
But I had zero doubts that she had the rest figured out and wouldn't tell me for my own safety.
The Inarizaki student council wasn't one to be messed with, considering who ran it.
The former president Miya Atsumu and his twin Miya Osamu were on the third and fourth floors, both wearing bulletproof vests.
In fact, all the student council members were wearing said vests.
"Oi, did you hear me?" Kosaku reached out to jab my side when Suna grabbed his wrist.
"Don't touch my son with your filthy hands," Suna spat. "Get the fuck out. You're supposed to be on floor 2. (y/n) is about to get there."
Kosaku scoffed and left, taking the elevator.
"Don't worry," my supposed father patted my head. "I won't let them hurt you."
I don't care.
You disgusting man.
I sat down and scrolled through his phone that he locked me from opening anything other than a coloring app and subway surfers.
However there was something else in the shoes I wore.
Everyone assumed it was just resin, but it was liquid halothane.
All I had to do was get the gas mask and I was all set.
My mother's people in Blood Union all were on the way to the place as my necklace had a locator on it.
Suna was beginning to get sleepy and I moved closer to him, tip-toeing past until he suddenly threw a knife in my direction.
"Where the hell are you going, Keiji?"
I stared at the knife which was above my head on the wall, gulping nervously. "I'm hungry."
Suna scoffed and stood up, heading to the fridge. "Whatchu want, bro? Gatorade? Soda?"
"That's a beverage. But I am thirsty."
"Smartass." Suna threw me a coke and took out a snack basket. "Go crazy. But don't stand up again or the next knife goes through your head."
He's bluffing. He only has one knife and he threw it.
The vile man went back to looking at the screens, scoffing as he saw Oikawa and Kosaku get into a fight. "Man. Those assholes get to have fun while I'm stuck babysitting this brat."
Suna gave me a disgusted look, muttering something in another language that I didn't understand.
I ignored him and began eating my chips loudly to piss him off.
"Will you eat quieter!" He spat. "Some of us are trying to concentrate."
"Sorry." I continued to do so until Suna stood up, me grabbing the knife and sealing it, putting it in my pocket as it was small.
Suna looked around for the knife until he bent down and got onto his knees, searching under things.
I stood up and ran towards him, stabbing him.
"YOU FUCKIN' KID!" He spat, blood getting on his hands and the floor as he stood up.
I dodged his grasp and slit his leg, digging deep into the muscle as he screamed in pain.
"FUCKIN' BRAT!"
I kicked his face, glaring at him. "No one hurts my mommy!"
And just as my mother taught me, I quickly put on the gas mask and pushed my sneaker in his face and released the halothane, smirking.
"Never mess with the Tsukishima family." I left my father on the ground, knocked out.
I met up with one of my mother's workers who had crawled through the vents.
"Good work," he said as he patted my head. "Mizuki will escort you to safety."
"And my mother?"
"We've got agents crawling through the vents. We'll protect her," the man informed me.
I followed my aunt Mizuki through the vent, seeing how there were hidden cars everywhere in the forest near the tower.
Please make it through, Mommy.
Reader POV
I looked outside and smelled something sweet.
Good. Keiji was able to knock and possibly kill Suna.
I still had my gun and made my way up to the fifth floor, following Ushijima.
"Do you have a gun?" Ushijima asked me.
I nodded, scowling at him. "Of course. Do you?"
He nodded. "I'm just asking."
"And I answered. But Ushijima, I have no doubt those fuckers will pull something. I bet that most of them have bulletproof vests."
"Shit."
"Affirmative. So if I don't make it, I need you to take care of Keiji for me," I said as I climbed the stairs, making sure my gun was loaded.
"Of course."
But as soon as I opened the hatch to the fifth floor, a shot rang out.
"USHIJIMA!"
The tall man was pushed out the open door that lead to the forest far below, a howling wind blowing outside the tower.
"(y/n)."
I looked in the darkness and saw four pairs of eyes watching me.
Kita, Osamu, Atsumu, and Kosasku.
"You bastards!" I screamed.
They all grinned madly, blood covering their hands and some with specks of blood on their faces.
"It's time to make your final move, princess," Kita said smoothly. "Rintarou is still alive. You must chose who you want to go with...or take the chance."
"The chance?"
"Yes," Atsumu said with a feral smirk. "You've earned the right. If you roll an odd number, you go free and we'll leave you and your family alone. But if you roll an even number, you are stuck with us all."
"That hardly seems fair," I spat.
"Well I don't care," Kita snapped. "This is the end. Make your choice."
Then suddenly, Osamu shot Kosaku from the back.
"He's irrelevant," he explained with a smirk.
I thought about it, weighing everything that happened from the moment I entered Ina High to right now, watching my friend Ushijima be murdered.
Then I knew what I had to do.
"I choose..."
______________
Choose Kita
Choose Suna
Choose Atsumu
Choose Osamu
Choose Chance
______________
AND THAT WRAPS UP THE STORYLINE.
Be careful with your choices😁🔪
Ik this second half of the book lacked the same sharp writing, but I just lose interest + life is getting more interesting for me haha.
Thank you for reading! I expect to have the choice endings out by May 15th 2021, but no promises.
