Steve said, pushing the door to Peters bedroom open.

And Peter had to admit, it was. His bed was in the exact same position it was, in the far corner with the black bedsheets, his bedside table next to it but the only difference was that his empty glass of water that had disappeared, his closet was closed and still had the Avengers poster on it, his desk still had the discarded blueprints of robots and his posters were still up.

"Obviously, we cleaned it out, took empty glasses and cups out and took the dirty laundry out but it's still the same."
Bucky said.

"Yeah."
Peter said.

"We'll leave you alone to get settled back in, we're just two doors down remember."
Steve said and the two men from the past left the teen from the present alone.

Peter smiled as he looked around his room before jumping onto his bed.

"This feels so nice."
Peter said, signing into the soft mattress.

After sleeping on a thin blanket for a year and a hard hospital mattress for a few weeks, the soft mattress was a strange yet welcome feeling.

He sat up and began rummaging under his bed, praying that his parents didn't find the thing he was trying to find.

"Aha!"
Peter exclaimed, fining the object.

Peter took the kimoyo beads and activated them.

"Peter you fucking asshole!"
Shuri said, her voice loud in the quiet room.

"Nice to see you too Shuri, whom I haven't seen in a year."
Peter said.

"I told you not to get kidnapped but what do you do? Get fucking kidnapped!"
Shuri said.

"I'm sorry Ri-Ri, if I could, I wouldn't have let myself be kidnapped but I don't have any superhuman skills so I couldn't fight my kidnappers."
Peter monotoned.

"Actually, that's not true. I was sent your blood samples to see if I could find anything and I did."
Shuri said.

"Wait really? What did you find?"
Peter asked, placing the kimoyo beads on his bed and started walking around his room.

"Your DNA is infused with spider DNA. To put it into simpler terms, you're half spider now."
Shuri said, ignoring Peters shout when she implied that he was dumb.

"That's so fucking cool."
Peter whispered.

"I know!"
Shuri said.

"Do I have any abilities? Can I climb on walls and fling webs out of me?"
Peter asked.

"Dunno. Try walking on the walls."
Shuri said, taking a notebook to write down their findings.

Peter approached a wall and placed his right foot on it before lifting his left foot of the floor.

"I'm fucking walking on the floors! This is so fucking awesome."
Peter exclaimed and started walking on the wall and towards the ceiling.

"I hope you fall on your head."
Shuri said, writing the facts down.

"Love you too Ri-Ri."
Peter said before flipping down.

"Ok, try and see if you can shoot webs."
Shuri said.

"Out of my ass?"
Peter asked, shooting a confused look to Shuris hologram.

"Yes out of your ass. No! Try like your wrists or something. I seriously doubt that webs would come out of your ass."
Shuri said.

"Ok."
Peter said and concentrated on the wall.

He pulled different hand signs but no web came out of his wrists.

"Nah."
Peter said sighing.

"So that's a no on the webs. Try hearing, can you hear stuff that you usually won't be able to hear?"
Shuri asked, noting it down.

Peter listened for a few minutes, hearing his parents soft voices to each other, Mr Stark talking to FRIDAY, Natasha training in the gym and Clint crawling in the vents.

"Yeah, I can hear a lot of things. So my hearings improved a lot."
Peter said.

"Ok, turn the lights off."
Shuri said.

"Why?"
Peter asked.

"To test your eyesight, see if you can see in the dark."
Shuri said.

"Ohh."
Peter said.

"FRI, can you turn the lights off please?"
Peter asked.

FRIDAY didn't say anything, just turned the lights off, leaving Peter in the pitch dark room.

"Can you see anything?"
Shuri asked.

"Yeah, I can see literally everything. That's so fucking weird."
Peter said, the lights turned on and Peter hissed.

"Peter, you're half spider not half bat. Stop acting like a fucking vampire."
Shuri said.

"What's next?"
Peter asked, ignoring Shuris comment.

"Dunno, all your senses are probably heightened so there's no point testing those. From our notes, the spider DNA turned you into a super soldier. Like Steve and Bucky." Shuri said.

"Really?"
Peter asked, staring at his friend in shock.

"Yeah."
Shuri said, showing him her notebook.

"I have someone in common with Dad now."
Peter said.

"What about Bucky? He's also a super soldier dumbass."
Shuri said.

"Nah, we were both prisoners in HYDRA."
Peter said and him and Shuri started cackling.
