Ezra's P.O.V

   "Ezra! Wake up!"

The voice echoed like it was miles away. My head spun and eye sight a blurry mess. I felt myself swing back and forth and the wind blow hard. My were ringing from the loud explosions that happen a while ago.

   "Ezra!"

The voice was getting closer and a sinking feeling began to digest itself, settling in the pit of my stomach. Something was wrong. I didn't need to be fully conscious to know something was very wrong.

"EZRA!"

I finally snapped out of my daze and paled at the sight in front of me. I was swinging forty stories high above the city. Most of the buildings on the side was gone. I almost began to panic until a familiar voice snapped me out of my seclusive state.

My eyes averted from the long drop and up to see Kanan holding onto a bent, metal support beam with one hand. Either the beam bends or Kanan can't hold on will then lead us to a drop with little survival.

"Ezra, I need you to focus on the force," Kanan told me. I began to block out the noises around me, putting my full trust in Kanan.

"Now picture in your mind-" a groan of metal bending came but I didn't lose focus. I need to focus or I'm putting both of our lives in danger. My arm and wrist began to sting with a painful electrical shock but didn't break my focus.

I pictured something small and fast heading our way.

The Phantom. It had to be the Phantom.

"Kanan, do you trust me?" I asked.

"Yeah," he sounded unsure. I don't blame him, I was very unsure the way I said it.

"Let go, when I tell you to let go," I said.

"Ok," he said. I flinched and gasped in pain at the sudden shock.

"Are you okay-aw" Kanan screeched when feeling the sudden wave of pain. The sound of metal bent more and I could tell Kanan was losing his grip. The Phantom was almost here, just a little bit more-

The wind picked up and that's when I snapped my eyes open.

We were falling.

"Kanan!" I called and quickly glanced his way to see him unconscious. This wasn't good.

My heart pounded against my chest as I realized we weren't going to make it. The least I could do is try.

I focused on the force to try and slow us down enough to possibly survive. The ground was getting closer and closer. We weren't slowing down enough.

From the corner of my eye, I could see a small ship coming.

The Phantom!

The ship maneuvered itself and caught us. We were going to be okay. We were going home. I almost cried in joy until seeing who was really driving the ship.

Sabine's P.O.V

I was relieved that Kanan and Ezra were safe.

I wasn't so relieved that we're in the Empire's hands by two inquisitors.

The inquisitors ignited their lightsabers. The female one put her lightsaber's red blade right under my throat. I couldn't do much since my legs and arms were tied.

"Surrender or the girl dies," the female inquisitor spoke.

It was then did I really see that we were really in a knot. Kanan hasn't stood up and his eyes were closed. He's unconscious and they didn't have their weapons with them.

Shoot!

I glared at the inquisitors, not scared of them. What really scared me was what they'll do to the others if caught. Judging on how things were going, this wasn't going to end well.

Ezra's shock was soon replaced with utter defeat. He looked down and raised both hands up.

"No, don't Specter 6," I begged. I didn't care if I died. There was not way I'm going to let them get captured. There had to be a different way.

He looked over at me and I could tell, even if they did try to escape, they wouldn't have anywhere to go. My death would be for nothing and Ezra wouldn't want to have me end like this if escape was futile.

"We surrender," he said looked up and glaring at the inquisitors. The two imperials smiled deviously and the male walked over to them with binders.

Soon, Kanan and Ezra were both tied up next to me.

"Now, If you cooperate. Then maybe I won't have to scar that pretty face of yours," the female inquisitor said, cupping Ezra's chin in her hand. He shook her hand off and glared darkly at her. She only smiled and stood up while the male piloted the Phantom.

My comm whistled to life. They took my blasters but forgot to take my comm! I answered it and Chopper warbled about something.

I was so caught up in the moment, I forgot about Chopper.

"Specter 3, quiet down," I whispered into my comm, glancing over at the two Sith. Their backs were turned and seemed to be discussing something.

Chopper began to say that he had a plan to get rid of the inquisitors.

"Good, What is it?" I asked. He only told hold on to something tight. I looked over at Ezra who seemed to know what was going to happen.

We both clutched onto the seats as the Phantom began to tip back and the ramp opened. The female inquisitor tried to find something to grip onto as she clawed the floor but soon fell out. The male inquisitor didn't have time to react either and went flying out the back after the female.

The Phantom straightened out again and the ramp closed. Ezra picked the lock to my binders and I did the same for him and Kanan.

"Great job, Specter 3," I said into the comm. Chopper waved it off like it was no big deal and saying how amazing he was. I rolled my eyes while sitting in the pilot's seat.

"Sabine?" I twisted in my seat to look over at Ezra.

"Thanks for saving us but could you help out with one more thing?" He asked. I raised an eyebrow until he showed me some sort of metal cuff on his wrist. I began to examine it.

"Force suspensor cuffs. I didn't think the Empire used these anymore since the clone wars. I'm surprised they still work," I mused.

"How do you know so much about this?" He asked.

I sighed, "I used to work in the imperial academy."

He didn't ask for anymore and I was thankful for that. It was a living nightmare working for the Empire. My worst mistake was not seeing who they truly were and deceived by their lies making me do bad things.

"Well..." I almost jumped when he began to talk. "I'm glad your with us."

I gave a small smile and began to figure out how to open the cuff.

"We're going to need to reroute the electrical current, that way it hurts itself and breaks apart," I mumbled to myself.

"Is that going to hurt?" Ezra asked, unsure. I shrugged. I never dismantled force suspensor cuffs before. Who knows if it would even work.

"I'll see what I can do when we arrive back at the Ghost," I reassured, then turned back to fly the Phantom. Then I realized, what happened to all the TIEs? Nothing began to shoot at us.

My comm whistled and Hera began freaking out.

"Specter 5! We need to leave right now! Do you have Specter 1 and 6?"

"Yes, we're safe. What's going on?" I asked, worried. My question was answered when seeing a different TIE fighter blow up three rebel ships.

"He's here," I looked over my shoulder to see Kanan leaning on Ezra. My blood ran cold. He was here. Oh no.

"I'm going to pilot the ship," he said.

"No way. You just woke up. What if you go unconscious again?" I asked.

"I won't," Kanan said, determined. We stared at each other for a few seconds before I nodded and without hesitation, we switched places.

"Sit in a seat and hold on!" He ordered. Ezra and I did as he commanded. The Phantom began to twist, turn, flip, up, down, and spun all around. I felt like I was on a crazy roller coaster. My stomach churned and head spun forming a pounding sensation.

"Specter 5! Where are you? What's going on?" I heard Hera's voice yell into the comm in worry.

I clutched my hand tighter to the seat and used the other to grab my comm link.

"We...haVE a little proBLEM," I grunted from the ship shot at.

   "What's the problem?" She asked.

"I don't exactly know except someone is chasing us and really good at aiming," I spoke quickly. The Phantom was hit again and I fell out of my seat. My head hit something really hard that I wasn't able to move or focus. It spun like crazy and pounded harder than before.

   "Sabine!"

A blurry figure ran, almost tripping as the ship shook. The person then sat next to me. I blinked and tried to focus on the face above, looking down.

"Sabine? Can you hear me?" The voice echoed. My vision finally focused to see a worried Ezra over me.

   "I-I'm sorry...f-for not t-telling you...the s-secret," I apologized.

"It's ok. You're going to be alright," he reassured. I nodded then my eyes rolled back. I blacked out.

Hera's P.O.V

Where were they? Are they okay? Who was chasing them? What was going on? Did she get the two?

More and more questions revolved in my mind. Wondering, waiting, hoping for them to be alive and come home safely. I rabidly flew by the tall buildings trying to find the Phantom and help my crew. Yet, they were no where in sight like they just disappeared out of thin air.

I gritted my teeth together in frustration while scanning the city for any sign of the rest of the crew.

I need to help them. I need to help them right now!

I twisted around another building and found the Phantom...falling from the sky engulfed in flames.

Kanan's P.O.V

I could feel the cold coming from the TIE. A dark sider was in the small ship. I was to busy to wonder if Ezra could feel it too. Probably not since he hasn't said anything yet which really bothered me. Yet, not to much since all my focus was to stay alive and figure out how to escape the dark sider.

"Kanan! Sabines out cold," Ezra informed. For a moment, I lost my concentration. Bad idea. The Phantom shook violently and a loud boom rang in the air. I tried to lift us back up but the controls were busted. Gravity pulled us towards the ground fast and there wasn't anything I could do.

Except...

I quickly leaped out of the chair and back to the kids. Sabine laid unconscious with a giant bump forming on her forehead. Ezra looked up at me for some sort of reassurance.

"Specter 2! I need you to fall beside the Phantom!" I yelled into my comm.

It took a only a second later for her to reply.

"Got it! Be careful, Love," Hera said then I clipped the comm back onto my belt. Then knelt down and took Sabine from Ezra's arms to mine.

"Specter 6, I need you to cut a hole into the belly of the Phantom," I ordered quickly. Ezra didn't hesitate or question when grabbing his lightsaber and started to cut a hole. I put Sabine on my shoulder and helped Ezra cut.

Soon the hole was made and I hit the spot we cut to soon fly away and disappear. A gust of wind began to blow inside the small ship. The Ghost came up a couple meters in front of us with the ramp open. Zeb stood in the cargo bay waiting.

"We're going to have to jump. Are you going to be ok by yourself?" I asked.

Ezra's P.O.V

I nodded confidently wishing that I really did feel brave. Really though, I was terrified. What if I miss? What if I slip? What if the wind carries me away? A hand laid on my shoulder.

I looked at Kanan and everything around us slowed.

"You can do this, Ezra. I believe in you," he said. I smirked and asked, "Is there any doubt?"

"Nope. See you on the other side," was the last thing he told me before jumping. I watched Kanan free falling with Sabine dangling on his shoulder. For a second, I thought he wasn't going to make it and was about to yell but he landed fine. Kanan was fine and in the cargo bay.

Now, it's my turn.

"Hurry up, kid! We don't have all day!" Zeb yelled at me. The buildings were gettting closer and closer. I had to jump now!

I got into position when the Phantom's engine blew jerking the ship and my balance. I fell through the hole and had no control. I kept spinning in air with no sense of coordination to land in the Ghost.

"Ezra!" I heard Kanan yell. Suddenly, I slowed down and headed towards the Ghost! I wasn't able to slow down enough and 'gracefully' landed on Kanan. The ramp shut and the Ghost maneuvered a different way.

It took me a second to gather my thoughts before realizing that I was still on top of Kanan. I quickly got off.

"Sorry," I apologized.

He sat up and rubbed the back of his head.

"It's okay. We're safe now," he replied and I smiled while trying to recover from the heart attack I almost had. We were alive and okay!

Then a frown formed when seeing Zeb holding Sabine in his arms. She was still out cold. Maybe we didn't come out unharmed but nothing life-threatening. I hope at least Sabine isn't in any danger.

"Get her to the medbay," Kanan ordered Zeb. The Lasat nodded and hurried away to the medbay. Hera moves passed Zeb with concern on her features.

She scrambled down the ladder and walked over as we stood.

"Are you two okay? What happened to Sabine?" She asked worried.

"We're okay. I would actually like to know what happened to Sabine as well," Kanan looked over at me with a questionable posture.

"When you were flying crazy and Sabine was talking on the comm, she wasn't able hang on any longer. Then flew across the ship hitting her head in the process," I explained. Hera gave me a long and tense look before dropping her shoulders, relaxing.

"Well, your all back safely and alive," she said. Hera walked over and gave me a hug and did the same with Kanan.

"We missed you to Hera," I said, smiling. She placed a hand on my shoulder then hurried off to the medbay.

I lowered my shoulders and felt the exhaustion hit. I didn't realize how tired I was.

"Kid," Kanan said, shaking me. I shot up and realized the I was just leaning on him. He smiled and suggested, "How about you go to bed before you decide to doze off again?"

"Yeah...Yeah...good idea," I said, drowsily walking towards the ladder. Before I started to climb, I turned to look at Kanan.

He looked right back with confusion.

"Is there something wrong?" He asked. I walked back over and wrapped my arms around him.

"Thank you," I said. Arms wrapped around me as he asked, "For what?"

"Everything," I said, pulling away and smiling.

"That's my job. Now go get some rest," he said. I nodded and left towards me and Zeb's room. I opened the door and didn't realize how much I missed my bed till now. I climbed the ladder and laid down. Once my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light.

Sabine's P.O.V

My head spun while my vision tried to clear all the black dots floating around the room. A headache formed as an a really annoying beeping made it worse.

Where am I? What happened?

Memories began to came back and I immediately shot up realizing that this wasn't the Phantom. It was a medbay. Was it an imperial or the Ghost's medbay?

A nauseating feeling made my stomach turn and head pound more. I groaned and out of instinct, raised my hand to where it hurt. My hand brushed against the spot and immediately gasped in pain. I placed my hand away from the spot that hurt.

'Must of hit my head pretty hard,' I thought, blandly. The sound of footsteps came from outside the door. I carefully laid back down and closed my eyes, pretending to still be knocked out. The sound of the door opening came and someone walked in.

I cracked my eye open a sliver to see Hera looking down at a pad. I sighed in relief and opened my eyes all the way. Hera looked away from her pad and over to me, a smile forming on her face.

"Thank goodness you woke up," she said, relaxing her tense body.

"Why? How long was I out for?" I asked.

"Well, you would probably be in a coma if you didn't and you were out for just a couple of hours," she answered.

'Wow. Just a couple of hours,' I thought, surprised.

"How's everyone else?" I asked.

"They're just fine," she said, "Thank you for bringing them back home."

"I always keep my word," I responded. Hera held my hand, giving it a little squeeze. My smile was replaced with a troubling frown. Hera frowned too.

"What's wrong? Is there something bothering you?" She asked I shook my head 'no.'

"I need to tell him, Hera," I spoke, seriously.

"And you will," she assured me.

"No. Now," I said. She looked at me for a moment and could see how much I was pleading to break the news to Ezra. It has to be done. I can not keep this secret from him any longer when it's not even mine to have.

"Okay," Hera agreed then left the medbay. I breathed in and out to calm my nerves. This was it, it was time to tell him. No more lies.

It was time for the truth and the truth only. The secret.

Ezra's P.O.V

I woke up a couple hours ago and in the common room messing with my lightsaber. It felt so right gripping it in my hands after so long with out it. Kanan put a ban on having my lightsaber after saving me from Thrawn.

It was horrible not having it in my hands until the first day back of training. I honestly thought it would be our last. Yet, everything felt right again. Back in place and hopefully, we don't fall apart as hard as we did again.

The door opened and Hera walked in. Everyone looked over at her and could see the nervousness in her eyes. I was a little nervous when seeing her like this.

"Hera?" Kanan said concerned.

"Ezra," she began, looking me in the eye, "Sabine's awake and-"

"She's awake?" I asked, jumping up and running out the door before Hera could finish what she was about to say.

Hera's P.O.V

Ezra raced passed me before finishing my thought. I was about to call him back but decided not to. Kanan and Zeb were about to follow behind but I stopped them.

"Let them talk before we go barging in there. They need some time to work things out and I don't want anyone bothering them until they are done," I ordered. The two seemed reluctant and I admit, so did I. Yet, it has to be just them and no distractions when Sabine breaks the news to Ezra.

Teens need their space. So that's what I'm going to do, give them space to talk things out and hopefully, it all works out.

I didn't realize I spaced out until Kanan laid a hand on my shoulder. My eyes met his and Zeb's, both with reassurance.

"Don't worry. We won't get involved with them until they are done," Kanan said. I smiled a little and responded, "Good, cause I've some things that need to be done."

Ezra's P.O.V

I stepped into the medbay to see Sabine on the bed, leaning against the wall. Her head was wrapped in bandages and an IV stuck into her arm.

She looked up at me and locked eyes. I smiled at her and asked, "You doing okay?"

While walking over, she seemed to think of how to answer that question.

"Well," the artist started, "Yes and no."

I gave a look not expecting that kind of answer. What did that mean? She must of seen my confusion and explained.

"Yes, because my head doesn't feel like it's about to explode and no, because...," she drifted off. Then looked up at me before avoiding any eye contact at all. I walked over to her and stood next to the bed.

I could feel that there was something holding her back but at the same time wanting to be free.

"What aren't you telling me?" I asked. Then said unsure, "Is it the secret because I can handle it."

Sabine glanced up and let out a sigh while a sad smile spread across her face. There were dark rings under her eyes, making her look exhausted.

"Sit down," she said, patting the empty spot next to her leg. I sat on the edge of the bed and waited patiently for her to gather her words. This was it. I'm finally going to learn about the secret after so long.

Sabine looked at me dead in the eyes with a serious feeling swelling up in them.

"Ezra," she began. I peeked a little and could feel my nerves trembling.

"Your dad isn't your real dad," she explained.

My eyes widen and I was afraid to ask the next question.

"Whose-Whose my real dad?" I asked. My heart pounded. After all that time. The man I thought as my dad wasn't my dad but an imposter. Then who? Who is my real father?

"Your real dad," Sabine continued, licking her lips, "Your real dad...is Thrawn."
