Ezra's P.O.V

The first thing that came to my mind was that I couldn't breath.

No matter how much I open and close my eyes, it was dark. If I tried to sit up then I would hit my head in a couple milliseconds. It was very hot and everything closed in on me.

'No, I can't be back here! This isn't happening, not again!' I thought panicking. Then tried to claw, hit and more, just to get out of this tight fit.

No matter how hard I hit the top or sides.

No matter how loud I screamed.

No matter how much hope for someone to come and save me.

I knew better, not a soul was coming to save me from this.

That's when water started to fill in the place and I tried to sit up. Hands suddenly gripped my shirt and forced me back down as the water rose. I held my breath and closed my eyes when the water surrounded me. I struggled under the person's tight grip to sit up and breath in some air.

The grip loosened when a hand went to my hair and yanked me up, out of the water. I screamed as it felt like my my head was going to come off. That's when I see red eyes looking at me.

A figure started to form through the dense darkness of the room. Yet, I didn't need to know who the person was cause I knew those red eyes anywhere. My master's eyes.

"Ready for another game, my pet," he said oh so calmly sending goosebumps up and down my arms. I shook my head as words could not form.

"Well, your next," he said and I gulped. A light turned on and I was strapped down to a table. My master stood above me with a straight face and arms wrapped behind him.

"Ready to meet the same fate as this child," he said holding up the same head that was found in the bathtub. I freaked out and tried to get out of the restraints.

"You've been a bad, bad slave," a different voice said. That's when I saw...Kanan...holding an axe. My eyes widen when I saw that his eyes were a cold yellow.

"You were never any good for me or anyone else. It was funny when you thought that we cared for something like you," Kanan spat.

I flinched as my eyes burned and a knot of hurt twisted inside of me.

Then Hera came out of the shadows and Kanan gave her the axe.

"You were such a burden and a failure. You didn't stop them from getting me pregnant. It's all your fault and now it's time to pay," She said gripping the axe.

Kanan stood at my head and held it enough to be straight. My master dotted a black line on my neck then when it was all done, Hera stood on my right side.

"This won't be fun, I won't get to hear you scream. Yet, since when did I care enough anyway to hear anything come out of that pathetic mouth of yours," Hera said then raised the axe over her head.

"Nighty-night," the three of them said then Hera brought the axe down as I screamed bloody murder.

I shot up and screamed. Then I looked around to see that I was on the Ghost. Zeb snores echoed the in room like an earthquake.

I raised my hands then felt around my neck and head. Sighing in relief knowing that it was still there, then moved my hands back down. It was all a nightmare. Yet, it felt so real.

That's when tears began to stream down my face. It was horrible. The crew didn't know that I've been having nightmares of my horrible past or they just didn't care.

I curled into a ball and let out a shaky breath holding back the lump in my throat. I needed to rest, not cry. Kanan promised me that he would start training me again tomorrow.

It would be the first time ever since the crew saved me from that terrible place. Thinking about it sent shivers up and down my spine.

If I was going to be at my best tomorrow then sleep was my option. So I laid down and pulled the blanket up before laying in bed, wide awake.

This was going to be a long night.

"Ezra! Wake up!" I jerked awake when Kanan suddenly yelled.

"I'm up! I'm up..." I said rubbing the sleep from my eyes and straightened my posture.

"Kid, that was the fifth time you dozed off. Is there something your not telling me?" Kanan asked.

"No, no...I'm...fine," I replied leaning forward then immediately awoke from my daze, straightening myself again. The Jedi gave me an unconvinced look but sighed. "We're going to take a break from meditation for now," he said.

"Are we going to practice with light sabers?" I asked but he shook his head 'no.'

"I'm not going to train you when you can barely keep your eyes open during meditation," Kanan told me.

"Well that's because we aren't doing much of anything. Maybe if we do something, I wouldn't be dozing," I replied.

"So you do admit that you were dozing," Kanan said, eyeing me.

"Technically, I never told you that I wasn't," I said and he raised an eyebrow.

"Right," he said extending the word with disbelief behind it.

Kanan stood up and before leaving the room, he said, "Go take a nap then we'll see about the training with lightsabers."

"Ok," I said almost shyly for some reason with my head bowed. Yet, the Jedi didn't stop and kept walking out the door.

I didn't want to let Kanan down but these nightmares are not helping. I didn't want to bother anyone since I already annoy them enough as is.

Soon I stood up on wobbly legs and walked out of the room to see what Sabine was up too.

Sabine's P.O.V

I sat on my bed with a heavy weight on my shoulders. Those files are stuck in my head and I didn't know how to tell Ezra about this discovery. It's eating away at me every time I see him, I feel even worse. I still haven't even read all the files yet, so who knows what else there is.

A knock at the door snaps me out of my thoughts. "Come in," I said and soon the door opens revealing the said teen.

"Hey Sabine, what are up too? Any new painting?" He asked.

"No," I said bluntly looking at the floor. I could feel eyes burning the top of my head.

   "What's wrong?" Ezra asked worried.

"Nothing," I lied a little to quickly.

"Sabine, I can tell when you're lying to me," he said.

I looked up and into his heavy eyes trying to stay open.

"I should be asking you the same thing. You're not looking to good yourself," I replied.

"Don't change the subject," he said with arms crossed, "What's going on with you? No painting. That's not like you."

"Ezra, please," I begged, "It's just really hard to explain at the moment."

Ezra gave me a long look before sighing in defeat. "Ok," he said, "I'll let you off the hook...this time."

I nodded then smiled, "Thanks."

Ezra returned the smile before leaving the room and ending his little act. He was trying so hard to not show that he was tired but at times it slips. I was left with my thoughts again and wondered what in the galaxy am I going to do?

What I knew couldn't stay a secret for long, especially when it could change Ezra's life.
