Author's Note
Okay, disclaimer, as of the moment that I am publishing this note and the poem itself, I am fine as of now.
The style of this poem is a lot different from ones that I have released in the past. We recently did two-voice poems in my English class (see Eclipse if you would like to read the first one that I did), so the style was sort of inspired by that sort of vibe.
I feel like the meaning of this poem should be very obvious, so I would prefer not to go into detail, nor do I feel any need to do so.
I wrote this poem as a guideline for the new story I am working on, titled Daze. It is fictional, so if you would like to check it out, that would be awesome. Right now I am working on developing the characters of the story, and I will update it as soon as I can.
If you are still worried about me, I appreciate your concern, and thank you for all of the wonderful comments and conversations that I've shared with all of you.
Of course, self-harm and suicidal thoughts are never to be taken lightly, and that was not the goal of this poem. I've been struggling for a while with my past and I just had to get this off my chest. If you are struggling, I can guarantee you that there is at least one person out there who loves you and wants you to stay here. Don't worry about me, I want you to worry about yourself and not fall into the same state of mind as I did.
I cannot stress this enough, if you are struggling right now, contact one of these numbers or a trusted adult. If you do not have any adults you trust in your life, tell a friend or call 911.
