Marinette slowly walked towards her room.

She hadn't spoke any words since the cops told her Adrien was missing. They asked his closest friends when they saw him last. They asked a few questions, but that was all.

Marinette was quiet for whole day and Alya was getting worried. She tried not to let her tears come out, but when she entered her room and saw Chat on her bed, she started crying.

"You really have good tastes in boo..-" his heart broke when he saw her crying. He jumped from her bed and hugged her tightly.

"What's wrong?" he asked. She cried in his chest, not knowing if she ever cried that much.

When she didn't speak any words, Chat picked her up and carried her to bed. He placed her under the covers and hugged her again.

"What's wrong, Princess?" he asked and she finally spoke after that.

"M-My f-friend," she wispered. "H-He went m-missing today,"

Chat immediately knew what was going on. "Hey, I'm sure they will find him soon,"

He was questioning himself how didn't she make the connection yet. Did he want her to make it? (a/n I know a normal person would make a connection, but this is fanfiction okay? and if you filthy sinners want marichat then you'll stop complaining)

All Marinette did around him was feeling uncomfortable and it felt like she still didn't forgive him for what happened the first time they met.

But here she was, calling him a friend and crying her eyes out just because of him.

"You w-will go missing o-once soon," she said.

"Why are you so sad?" he asked her. "Who is he anyway?"

"His n-name is Adrien. He's a boy in my class," she wispered in his chest. "I'm sad, because now that he disappeared I'll never find a chance to be friends with him. He already thinks I'm a freak,"

"Why do you think he'd think that?" he quietly asked.

"I-I...-" she calmed down a bit. "I can't say a word to him without stuttering."

"Why?"

"Do you always ask so many questions?" she asked, lifting her head so she could look in his eyes.

"No, I just want you to talk to me. Because it helps if you talk to someone," he placed a soft kiss on her forehead and she just nodded.

She burried her head into his chest again.

"Don't worry. They will find him soon," he assured her.

They stayed like that for a few minutes, before Marinette lifted herself. "Let's go to the guardian,"

If you asked for his opinion, he'd say she pulled away too soon.

"Are you sure, you want to go today?" he asked. She nodded. "It will take my mind off Adrien,"

He nodded and lifted himself too.

"I'll walk so Tikki can give directions. I forgot where he lives," Marinette smiled and he nodded. "You should just jump across the rooftops,"

He nodded again and climbed out of the window.

She took Tikki and went out of her room.

"Hey girl!" Alya greeted her by the door.

"Hi Alya," Marinette said, a little moody.

"Great you're talking," she gave her a hopeful smile. "Don't worry. They will find him,"

Marinette nodded as she walked past her. "I'm going out," she said to her parents, as she walked through the bakery.

Alya weirdly followed.

"I-I'm sorry Alya, but could I be alone for a little bit? I just want to think things through," she lied flawlessly.

"Don't worry, I miss him too. I'll see you around," Alya said, walking in other direction. She sighed as she saw Chat Noir standing on the rooftop infront of her.

Tikki gave her directions and guided her to his house.

It wasn't a long walk, but Marinette cleared some things up in her mind.

She waved to Chat, to come down and they knocked. A small man opened the door and smiled at them.

"Welcome," he said and opened the door for them to enter.

It was quiet when they sat down. "Want some tea?"

They both politely declined.

"Good, you have questions," the guardian smiled. A kwami floated to them and sat infront of them on the table. Before anyone could speak, Tikki flew out of Marinette's purse on the table and hugged the green kwami.

"Wayzz! It's been so long!" they both chuckled, before flying away.

"You are miraculous holder too?" Chat asked.

"Yes, I am. And I assume you can't transfrom back?" the guardian smiled at him. Before Chat could say a thing, he nodded.

"Lay down," he showed on the pillows on the floor. Chat obeyed.

"Close your eyes,"

He was kind of scared. Master Fu lifted his hands above the boy and closed his eyes too. Marinette just watched carefully. She saw how he healed Tikki, but did this work on humans too?

After a few minutes he opened his eyes and nodded. "As I suspected,"

"Will I be able to transform again?" Chat asked.

The old man chuckled. "Of course. Just you need some time for Plagg to heal,"

"Why would Plagg have to heal?" Marinette asked. As far as she knew Plagg was his kwami.

"It happened to Chat Noirs before, when they transformed if the kwami was ill," Master Fu explained.

"But he seemed okay. I know he would say something if he didn't feel okay," Chat stated.

"What happened that you needed to transform?" he asked the boy, which was still lying on the floor.

"I-I had a fight with my dad," he said, not sure if he was supposed to use his powers like this. Was he even alowed to use is for anything else than fighting?

Fu nodded his head. "Yes, Plagg is like that. He is stubborn and lazy, but he cares for the holder dearly, even if he doesn't show it,"

"Yes, but he could say something," the cat-themed hero said.

"Plagg thought he was strong enough for this, but I guess he wasn't. Now he's stuck in the ring," he said.

"Can we get him back?" Marinette asked.

"Yes, but it will take time. I suggest you don't use cataclysm unless it's important. That's what usually takes the most of kwami's power,"

"How long?" Marinette asked.

"At least a week," Both of them had a shock impression on their faces. "Maybe even more,"

All of them went quiet after that. Chat felt so bad. He couldn't do anything to help Marinette, and she was taking such good care of him.

"I-I..-is there any other option?" Chat asked.

"No," Fu shook his head.

"I'm sorry," Chat said to Marinette. "I don't want you to take care of me for a week or more,"

"I'm going to deny that I said this if any of you two said something," she looked at both men. "But I like taking care of you,"

She scratched him behind his ear and he let a purr. Both of them looked weirdly at him.

"I guess the cat habits didn't disappear through years," Fu laughed.

Chat and Marinette went home, after they talked for a bit.

Fu just closed the door behind them and Wayzz flew over to him.

"You know, you could always offered him to stay here," he stated.

"I know. But how do modern kids say it these days?" Fu said and scatched himself behind his neck. "I ship it!"
