Jin's P.O.V

We turned to Jungkook with confused looks as I repeated. "Picnic?"

"Yeah! Like we should have quality time together! Preparing food that we'll eat outside on the sunny day. But since we can't be seen in the park, I know a place where we can go." He chimed happily.

We looked at each other and shrugged, turning back to him with a smile.

"Sure. Where do we go?" Jimin asked.

I blinked, surprised that Jungkook would know such a beautiful place.

"What.."

I let out breathlessly as I looked around with amazed eyes. We were surrounded with cherry blossoms as we were near a clear blue lake.

It was... enchanting.

Jungkook then giggled as he hummed. "This is the place where I usually ran off to with my sister whenever we wanted to run away from everything." He said as he looked up with a smile.

"It's where I spent my whole childhood in.. it saved us from our worries and insecurities." He finished as he sat down with a content smile.

We chuckled while Hoseok and Jimin came back with the baskets of food and the grill. Yoongi who's already asleep on the blanket that we laid out for him to sleep in for awhile.

And another blanket for all of us to sit on.

"Looks like a whole escape of this unfair world." Taehyung pointed as he sat beside Jungkook.

Jungkook hummed and giggled. "Yeah, sister had always wished that if she ever got married, they would have the ceremony here.. but she didn't get to.." he trailed off as his smile showed nothing but sadness.

"Surely your sister wants you to carry out that dream of hers. Why not marry here in the next three years?" Taehyung teased.

The two had turned to each other with huge smiles and pulled each other into an embrace.

I smiled softly as I saw the glint in Taehyung's eyes.

"You said you'd only walk into his life, not fall in love with him. What happened to you now?"

He chuckled and hummed, looking down. "Simple. I fell in love with someone I never thought I would."

"You're oddly honest for some reason. Are you really our Taehyung?"

"Yes hyung. And yeah, i'm honest with what I admitted. There's no point in running away from it,i'd end up realizing it over and over again anyway."

I chuckled and patted his head with a soft smile.

"That's my boy~"

Taehyung's P.O.V

"Ready to go?" I asked, turning to Jungkook.

He hummed as he slung his bag over his shoulders.

We turned to the hyungs as they nodded and went to their own cars.

Both me and Jungkook then went inside my car as we started driving off.

I soon heard Hoseok hyung's voice through the other line.

"V, can you hear me?"

I hummed, making him continue.

"I checked through the recent activities of Elite's base. Looks like they have two hostages in their basement."

I furrowed my eyebrows as I saw Jungkook from the corner of my eye, look at me in curiosity.

"Can you make out who those two are?"

"Looks to be Jungkook's father and your mother."

I felt my heart freeze the moment I heard his reply.

"Be careful. It seems that they'll be expecting you." He warned as he cut off the line.

I sighed in frustration until I felt Jungkook's hand on top of mine, making me glance at him before turning my attention back to the road.

"What did he say?"

I bore my eyes into the road, clutching onto the steering wheel more tightly as I answered him.

"They have your father, and looks like they're waiting for us."

Jungkook's P.O.V

I felt my blood run cold as I heard what Taehyung answered.

"I'm calling back-up." I said, causing Taehyung to stop the car as he turned to me surprised.

"Back-up? From who?" He asked, turning to me.
