I look around confused, who could've written this. "Zack we need to get to class, there's nothing here", Meg said starting walk back to school. "But...but the writing"

"The writing could be anyone's, definitely not your dream girlfriend". I looked at it again before deciding to follow Meg back to class. We walked a few steps and I spot someone wearing a hoodie about to walk into the school. I start walking fast towards her, "first you weren't bothered about getting to class and now you can't wait to get there??" Megan yelled frustratedly. I scurried through the crowd in that hall way to get to her, when I finally I realized where we were, infront of the principal's office. "Oh hey there, I'm Cami, is this the principal's office?, I was meant to see her before headed to classes", she says. I stare for about 5 seconds before snapping, "yea it is, I haven't seen you around before, you new?", I asked. "Yes, I'm a transfer student",  "well I hope you love it here", I say and turn to leave.

"Zack?", I stop at hearing the principal's voice, "I see you've met Cami already, hope you don't mind showing her around a little", she says with a smile on. "Sure thing principal Calder".

I walk Cami to our classroom first. It's weird, first I had a dream with someone named Camille in it, now there's a new student who's Cami, but looks nothing like Camille!!!, I think I'm going crazy

"So Cami, This is our classroom, you know, like where we learn things", she chuckled and it was just then I noticed how pretty much perfect she she was, she had a pair of arched eyebrows that looked down on sweeping eyelashes, flowing dark hair and a set of dazzling white teeth which was obvious and she was almost always smiling.

"Hey, what's up with you", Megan's voice gets me back to reality. "Oh umm, Megan, meet Cami. Cami meet Megan, my best friend".

"Nice to meet you", they both say and I see the confusion in Megan's face. "Sooo, dream Cami?", she says awkwardly. "Jeez Megan noo, I'm gonna show her around", for some reason we all laughed before I and Cami kept going.

"Dream Cami huh", she broke the silence. "There's a perfect explanation for that, I know it's weird but I had a funny dream with someone named Camille in it, and trust me you look and sound nothing like her".

"Crazy coincidence right?", she says, "yea".

We finished our little tour and got back to class in time for physics, we both groan as we check the time table. "Thanks for showing me around today", she says and smiles, "it's no big deal, glad I could help".
"I'm also new in the area, maybe we could go on a bigger tour, and get lunch while at it", she says and I think I lost a heartbeat. "It's a date", I say with my best smile on. "Great, I'll see you then", she says before gettin into class... Its a date?, that's the dumbest thing you've ever said Zack.

School's over and I walk Megan home. Her parent won't be home for a while so I had to keep her company. "You know you don't have to stay here", she says. "Yea I know, I also know you'll miss me if I leave", I said with a wink. "Keep wishing. So, tell me bout your new crush"

I can't help but think she's talking bout Cami. "I'm not crushing on Camille", I said. "Sure, I saw how you looked at her, I'm your best friend and I've never seen stare at another girl like that", she teased. "I'd appreciate if we don't dwell on this topic thank you". I say and pull out my grandma's book. "You're right",  she says but with a lower tone. "You okay?", I asked. "Yea I'm fine, nothing to worry about. What's that?"

"My grandma's book, apparently I'm supposed to write it"

"What's it about?"

"It's about some guy who uses dark magic or something to torture as many people as possible and a group of people who band up to stop him, summary"

"You suck at telling stories you know that right?"

"Yea I know", I say smiling and she throws her pillow at me. "What'd you do that for?", I asked. "I dunno, what are you going to do about it?", she says with a smile and throws another pillow at me.

"Oh it's on", that's how we start pillow fighting for over ten minutes, hitting ourselves on her bed. It hadn't been long but it felt like I lost my breathe. "Victory is mine", she says and we both laugh and lean against the wall.

She picks up my grandma's book and flips through the pages. "What are you gonna name it or does it have a name already?".

"I haven't thought of it yet"

"I didn't know you studied the Tasmanian language", she says still looking at the back page.

"That's because I didnt, never even knew it was a language", I get up and sit beside her. "I didn't see that before, do you know what it means?".

"Tasmanian is a lost language, I was curious about it some time ago", she says and tries to look up what it meant with her phone. She gives it to me to read.

"Beneath the  darkness, lies a path way in the shadows
As I bring the light, may this path to us open as it glows"

"That's creepy", Meg says. "I agree, I should get going". 

I pack my things into my bag, as I'm bout to put the book what happens leaves me in shock.

"Zack?, you ok?".

I step away from the now glowing book. "What the heck Zack?, is this a prank?". The book glows bright and flips itself open to the center.

"Do you really think I'd be able to pull off a prank like this??", I say with terror in my voice. The room begins to get windy. "What's happening??", Megan screams behind me, " let's get out of here".

"Help me close it", I say

"What, are you nuts??, you're asking me to touch that thing?"

Without waiting I struggle to reach the book. It got worse by the second, if we survive this I might go insane. I finally reach the book and try to close, but it was harder than I thought. "Meg!!, help!"
