"Listen up people! You all know that you'll be assigned new teams for the next 3 months, and I've come to a decision about who will be paired with who" The tiny guild masters loud voice echoed throughout the hall as Fairytails loud ruckus turned to the odd murmurs and whispers of curiosity.

"I really hope I'm with you Luce" Natsu smiled and threw his arm around his blonde bestfriends shoulder.

"Me too, but I doubt it because master said he's switching everything up" Lucy mused in thought, she frowned a little wondering who she would end up with but she didn't have much time to ponder as master cleared his throat and began speaking again.

"I will read out the names of who's working with who and once I've done that I'd like you all to break off into those teams and spend the day together so when you do start going on missions your not lost on power levels and how each other work" Master saw nods go around the room and heard a couple whispers of 'that's fair' and 'he's right but I hope it's people I talk to'.

"The first team will be..." he paused for suspense, "Jet and Juvia" nobody said a word, they all just stared at their guild master as if he'd grown a second head. "Oh don't look at me like that, I have good reason for that team!" Master Makarov defended himself. "Now go on Juvia, there's a free seat next to Jet."

(I'm going over this and realised I forgot about Droy so for future chapters he will be in Jets and Juvia's team)

The water mage had no problem with the speed mage but she was a little dubious as she'd never really had a proper conversation with him before. Juvia picked up her glass of juice and made her way over to Jet, who sat at the bar. She sat down next to him but felt immensely uncomfortable as everyone was staring at her, but all that washed away when Jet smiled and lifted his glass towards her "To teammates" Juvia smiled, repeated what he said and clinked her glass with his.

"Now then, next is Gray, Bickslow and Cana" The guild sweat dropped as Bickslow wagged his tongue and moved to sit next to Gray, once he got there the two fist bumped, but were then tackled by the guilds favourite drunk.

"Next group I- Cana Alberona remove your hands from there this once!" Normally Master would enjoy the free show but come on they have a few little ones running around the guild.

"Now as I was saying, next group is Natsu, Happy, Levy and mirajane. I trust you girls to keep Natsu in check, I don't think my bank account can survive much longer" The guild just laughed as their master cried anime tears over all the lost money.

Mira giggled and leaned over the bar to take Levy's small hands in her own, " I can't wait! We're gonna have so much fun!" Mira's words put a grin on Levy's face but just as she was about to speak the pink haired pyro came bounding over just to pick levy up and swing her around shouting things such as 'Alright new team Natsu!' And 'I can't wait to go on a mission and burn stuff!'

"Classic Natsu" Happy said as he landed behind the bar next to the take over mage, who just laughed as Natsu finally put levy down, who had a hard time standing up because she was so dizzy.

"I think I'm already starting to regret that" The small master rubbed his head at the thoughts of impending debt. "Onto the next! Erza, Elfman, Evergreen and Freed"

"We'll make you proud master" Freed stood and bowed but then sat back in the same place as he was already sitting with Elfman and Evergreen.

"Our teams gonna be manly!" Elfman's strong voice carried through the guild. Erza nodded with a serious expression on her face and then walked over to her new team, "yes I agree, our team will be the manliest". Freed just sweat dropped in response to Erza's words.

"Our fifth team will be Wendy, Carla, Romeo, Mest and Lisanna" hearing Masters words sent a blush onto both Wendy's and Romeo's faces, which made Carla tut, Lisanna giggle and Mest very curious.

"And for our last team Lucy, Laxus, Gajeel and Panther Lily" The master jumped down from his perch with a grin that would put the Cheshire Cat to shame.

As soon as the master jumped down from his perch atop of the 2nd floor banister, conversion in the guild returned to it's usual rowdy ness, but now everyone was in different groups.

Lucy gulped and took a deep breath at the thought of being on a team for three months with those hot studs, she just hoped she didn't embarrass herself. Turning in her chair her eyes caught Gajeel and Lily making their way over to her, when they got there before anyone could say anything a loud whistle got their attention.

They looked towards the direction of the sound to see the one and only Laxus leaning over the 2nd floor balcony waving them over. Lucy went to reach for her drink but before she could grab it she saw a large hand grab it, she looked up to see Gajeel smirking down at her, "Gihi, come on Bunny".

With his free hand he grabbed her gently by her wrist and pulled her to her feet. The blonde trailed behind the dragon slayer and his exceed, and taking a glance up at the other blonde she could only think, 'Mavis please give me strength'.

I know, I know the first chapters boring but it's just the beginning, pleas bare with me.

Also I'm taking requests for other ships, they can be cannon or crack I don't mind either way. But Lucy, Laxus and Gajeel and clearly off limits for the request.
