" Oh my god..... " Misty said.

They all stood their wide eyed as they looked at where they would be staying. There was six stadiums surrounding one huge one, a little bit away from that a giant hotel with people going in and out. Down the road & hill , restaurants and shops were everywhere.

They made their way to the hotel and asked for a room, the lady at the front gave them a room number and a map showing what and where everything was , along with a schedule telling when the competition will start.

The professor put the key card in the slot and pushed it open. As soon as they each stepped into the room, they were all amazed. Again.

Right when you walk in there's a huge kitchen on the right and on the left a huge TV is place on the wall with a large white couch infront of it. Doors lined the back of the room, each leading to a separate bedroom. The bathroom was down a small hallway by the kitchen, it had a hot tub as well as a shower with sliding glass door.

Everyone ran to one of the doors that was on the back wall, they each went inside.

" Holy crap!! " All their voices echoed around the place.

Ash and others

Ash and his friends walked through the doors of the hotel and up to the front desk.

" Welcome! " The girl said as she quickly handed them each their own hotel key card.

" Thanks " they all replied.

Ash turned around and faced the others.

" You guys go ahead " he said. The nodded and took off. Ash then turned his attention back to the girl.

" Mind if I check the list? " He asked

" Nope, go right ahead! " She said with a smile

" Thanks, Racheal. " After he said that that the girl had a bit of a blush on her face

" N-no problem " Racheal said as she looked at the ground while twiddleing with her fingers, the redness on her face increasing.

Ash picked up the pieces of paper that laid on the desk and began looking through them.

If your wondering how Ash knew her name its because he looked it up. Beforehand Ash scrolled through the list of people that would be working there and memorized most of their names and if you add some charm to that then he could get all the information he wants.

" Thanks again " Ash said with a smile as he placed the papers back to where they were, with that he walked off twords the elevator.

Traitors

" Thanks nurse joy! " May said.

The traitors have just finished signing up for the tournament and are now going to meet up with the Professor and Delia to decide where to eat for dinner. Now back to the group.

" I heard that there's a really good place to eat just down the road, its only 10 minutes away. " Dawn said

" Sounds good but we'll have to ask Oak and Delia " Brock commented

" Hey, there you guys are! "

They all turned around to see Ms. Ketchum and the Professor running in their direction.

" We just finished signing up and I think we decided on a place to eat at. " Iris said looking around as every else nodded their head.

" Ok, lets go then! " Professor Oak said

Infront of the hotel

" Alright, I guess we'll see you guys later. " Ash said

" Yup, bye. " Clemont waved as he and some others walked twords the restaurant they chose.

" We better be on our way now too. " Serena commented.

" Yeah " Ash replied as they all started to walk in the opposite direction than the other group.

Infront of a restaurant

" We're finally here, lets go take a seat " Max suggested

They went inside and found a nice table with enough chairs for all of them. A waiter took their orders and got them something to drink. Everything was nice and peaceful until...

" Introducing..... Bonnie! The first member of the elite four!! " Some dude yelled out so everyone could hear.

Bonnie walked through the door and everyone began to clap and cheer for her. She had her hair the same as always, a black V neck t-shirt, white capris with jewels on the back pockets, a necklace that had the shape of a moon with a weird stone in the middle and black high heels that clicked as she walked.

She waved as she made her way twords a table

" As well as...... Clemont! The second member of the elite four! "

Clemont followed in suit as he made his way to the table, rubbing the back of his head with a slight blush on his face as people continued to clap and cheer.

The only difference in his appearance was that he was wearing a fancy suit instead of his usual clothes. He also was wearing a bracelet with the same, yet different stone in the middle as Bonnie.

" Followed by...... Alain!  The third battle frontier brain! "

Like Clemont he was wearing a formal suit as well as a bracelet with a stone that stood out.

He made his way to his other two friends as girls squealed when he walked by.

" Behind him is...... Tierno! The second battle frontier brain! "

Tierno walked......well more like danced down the path that people had made. Not much of a difference between the first two boys in clothing besides the fact that his was more dark blue than black. A bracelet as well with the same feature of a stone.

" Close behind is..... Trevor! The first battle frontier brain! "

With a dark purple suit Trevor made his way to the others, a bracelet barely showing itself as its covered by the sleeves of the suit.

" And finally...... Sawyer! The third member of the elite four! "

Sawyer swiftly made his way to the rest of the group, his clothes were the same as always except the sleeveless small jacket he usually wore was now replace with a long jacket that fell down to the back of his heels. A small bookmark with a similar stone at the end as it sat in one of his coat pockets.

The group all took their place at a table and everyone sat back down in their seat as the cheers slowly died down.

The group of traitors stared at them looking amazed.

" Woah, some of the battle frontier AND the elite four! " Max said with sparkles in his eyes. He wanted to battle them, just how strong were they?

Bonnie was enjoying talking to her friends but something bothered her, she felt this feeling of annoyance and anger when she walked in, what was it?

Carefully taking a few glances around the place, looking at everyone while also trying not to let the others know that she felt something was up.

After a couple seconds her eyes stopped when they passed by a certain group. Her eyes narrowed as she tried to get a better look.

Suddenly her eyes widened and then gave a deadly glare. ' Its them... ' She thought.

A couple tables and chairs away sat a happy group, chatting, laughing and having fun.

Bonnie gritted her teeth as she watched them, the sight made her sick.

' This isn't right! How can they still smile after what they did to Ash?! ' Bonnie thought of Ash as sort a of a big brother, part of her family. Ash had always been kind to her and helped her train her pokemon when the time came. Her brother was depressed before Ash came along, he was always doubting and putting himself down because of his failed inventions. Ash made him more confident, stronger and happier. Truth was Ash helped out everyone whether they realized it or not, they owed everything to him.

But these people....... They......they... They took Ash's kindness for granted and hurt him. Everytime Ash said he was ok she knew it was a lie, he just didn't want to drag others into his problems. All the pain, sadness and anger he had to keep inside was their fault. She would make them pay!

Little did she know her opportunity would come quite soon.

All of the others that sat at the table with her felt the sudden change in atmosphere. The glance over and saw Bonnie with a scary look. Its not that they were scared of her exactly but the sudden change of emotions wasn't usual for her, they've seen her mad..but nothing compared to this.

She was pissed off.

" Bonnie! " Clemont whispered " whats wrong? "

Everyone leaned closer wanting to hear her response.

" Its them! " The hissed.

Clemont followed her stare and saw the group of trainers. He let out a small gasp as he remembered something.

Flashback

It was during their adventures in Kalos when Ash was collecting the gym badges.

Bonnie was playing with all the pokemon while the others set up for dinner.

They had stopped in a calm clearing deciding to call it quits for the day. Along the way they had run into Tierno, Trevor, Shauna, Alain and Sawyer who were now helping with the preparation of dinner.

" Ash, can you go get some water? " Serena asked.

" Yeah, sure " he said as he picked some containers and ran off twords the river not to far from there.

" Bet you can't catch me! " Bonnie yelled. Her and the pokemon were playing a game of tag.

Hawlucha was ' it ' and everyone else was running away. The group of trainers couldn't help but let out a little chuckle.

As Bonnie was running she was looking behind her to see how far away they were, sadly she wasn't looking where she was going and tripped over something.

She landed on the ground with a loud thump. She slowly sat up and placed a hand on her head.

" Bonnie! Are you alright?! " Clemont yelled, running over to her with all the other humans and pokemon too.

" Yeah.... I just tripped... " She mumbled.

She glanced down at her feet, there was a backpack, Ash's. It was open and some of the contents fell out.

All the others watched Bonnie as she picked up the things that had fallen.

" Careful, those are Ash's " Sawyer said, not wanting anything of Ash's to be broken.

" I'm just looking at them. " Bonnie replied.

" Are you sure we should be looking through his stuff? " Trevor asked as everyone glanced at what was in the young girls hands.

" They're pictures " Tierno pointed out.

Pikachu stepped back in shock with a worried expression on his face.

Serena bent down and picked up Ash's bag and brought it to the table, while the others followed.

They spread the pictures out on the table while Serena pulled out the stuff from Ash's backpack.

Everyone stared at the pictures in shock.

Even though Ash was kind to all of them, it seemed as if he had some sort of shield up. Being ever so cautious, like he didn't fully trust them.

' He looks so.......happy and carefree ' they all thought.

Serena placed a couple envelops on the table beside the pictures. They had all been opened but the letters were back inside. They were about to look further into it before a certain mouse got their attention.

" Pika! Pikachu! " He yelled waving his paws up and down.

They all stopped and stared at him.

" What is it pikachu? " Shauna asked

" Pikachu pi pika chu ka chu pikapi! " He shouted while pointing at the objects that were laying on the table and shook his head and crossed his arms in an X

" You don't want us to look at them? " Alain questioned.

Pikachu nodded furiously.

" Why? " Bonnie asked.

Pikachu began rambling on, the humans couldn't understand him although the pokemon could.

Poké translation

All the pokemon were wondering what was so important about it that would cause pikachu to freak out like that.

" You just can't! " Pikachu exclaimed before continuing " its Ash's own business, not yours! Leave it alone! He's been working hard to keep it a secret, so you can't ruin his efforts! "

The pokemon began to talk amongst each other.

What had he been hiding? Was it really that bad? Why weren't they told?

Poké translation off.

" I agree with pikachu, we should put the stuff back " Clemont sighed.

" Yeah.. " Serena muttered.

They heard the sound of someone walking twords them.

" That must be Ash! " Alain whispered loud enough for the others to hear.

Clemont went back to cooking with Serena helping, Bonnie and the pokemon gathered in a circle and she began to pet them. Alain, Trevor, Tierno and Shauna put the plates out on the table. Alain gave Sawyer a quick nod as he got back to setting up for dinner. Sawyer swiftly grabbed the pictures and letters and shoved them in his pocket and put the backpack back where it was.

Ash came out of the forest carrying the four water containers he took, with them now full of water. He placed them on the ground near where Clemont and Serena were cooking and walked twords the group of pokemon.

Even with the question on their mind, they still couldn't help but be happy when Ash came over and talked with them.

Everyone was now sitting down eating the delicious meal that was made.

They all ate in quiet. The trainers and Pokemon all took quick glances at the raven haired boy as questions ran through their minds. Sawyer and Alain looked at each other before nodding once more.

" Hey, Ash? " Sawyer asked, pushing his meal back a bit.

" Hmmm? What up? " He said as smile formed on his face.

Sawyer gulped, this was gonna be harder than he thought.

" W-well.... Um " he tried to find the right words to say. " What exactly are these? " He said as he pulled out the photos and envelopes and placed them infront of Ash.

Ash's eyes widened as he recognized them. He them calmly picked them up and looked at Sawyer " well one is called a letter while the others called a photo " he said with a smile and a bit of a laughter.

Bonnie laughed a bit as well as some of the pokemon. Alain only sighed.

" But whats with the two? " Alain asked, wanting to know more.

Ash thought for a few moments before replying. " Well nothing important. "

He wanted this conversation to be over with, sadly luck was not on his side.

" Well who's the letters from? And who's in the picture? " Sawyer questioned. He and Alain were not giving Ash any room for a break.

" They're from my friends and family " Ash said. As much as it pained him to call them his ' friends ', he had to in order to try and convince them.

" Whats written in the letter? " Trevor asked, interested.

Every stared at him, they sure weren't making this easy. Sure, Ash could yell at them to cut it out but then they would know for sure that something was up.

" Not much, just asking me the basic questions " he replied as he got up. He walked over to his backpack opening it up. He was about to shove the papers in but before he could Tierno swiped the backpack away from him.

" Wha- " Ash stood up and was about to asked Tierno to give it back but someone cut him off.

" Ash, tell us the truth. " Clemont said " please "

" I-I don't know what your talking about. " Ash tried to play innocent but they weren't having it.

" You can trust us Ash. " Shauna tried to help him confess but what she said only struck a chord with Ash

' Trust.... Trust? I've had people say that yet they lied, who's to say that you all won't do the same. ' He thought as he took a step back.

" I've already told you tha- " again he was cut off.

" Yes, but we want the truth! " Serena complained, worry in her voice. Others nodded in agreement.

" Look, what I said wasn't a lie. These letters were sent to me by them. " It wasn't a complete lie, it just the semi truth, a half lie if you will.

" Why don't you just show us whats written in those letters! " Alain suggested.

No. He couldn't do that. The half truth was something Ash was pretty good at, but he wasn't the best.

" Yeah, you said that it wasn't important. Just the usual questions people ask, so why not show us. " Sawyer said trying to sound convincing.

" I-I can't " the worried trainer replied.

He said ' the basic questions ' but that was only part of it. What he basically meant was the questions that were asked again and again, to him at least.
"Where are you? Why don't you just come back to Pallet town? " And so on.

" Why not? " They all asked in unison.

" I....just can't " he sighed.

He tried to take another step back but soon realized that he was surrounded by both human and Pokemon. Great.

" Its complicated. " He stated as he turned back to the other trainers.

" How can the truth be complicated? " Trevor grumbled.

" It just is " the boy said in defense.

" Well tell us anyway. " Clemont said walking closer to Ash. " So far you have had to deal with your own problems by yourself and we've always counted on you to help us, so i thinks its about time we help you. "

The raven haired boy was speechless, he had no idea what to do. Did they really care? Or were they just trying to act like it?

He then felt something climb and hop onto his shoulder, Pikachu.

Pikachu whispered in a voice that only Ash could hear, encouraging words. Even though he couldn't exactly understand pokemon, he knew mostly all the time now what pikachu was saying.

The group of trainers that were gathered around the boy could see pikachu whispering into his ear. Then the boy lowered his hat enough that it covered his eyes, they could see his lips moving but no sound was coming out.

The pokemon then heard Pikachu scolding Ash for something about his language before it got to quite to hear again.

After a few mere moments Ash spoke up, still with his eyes covered by the shadow of the hat.

" Alright...... "

His friends pulled him back to his seat and took theirs.

Ash looked up a bit, only enough that he could see them but they could not see the sad and pained look in his eyes. They actually looked like they were gonna listen, to every word he had to say, no matter how stupid or dumb it was. So he told them, from how much fun he had on his earlier adventures to the betrayal and to now. The short version of it though, after all they didn't have to know everything.

In the end it's easy to say that they were pissed. They all wondered how they could do that to him, yet realized why and just how much Ash didn't want to tell them. Now that they know, they really couldn't blame him for not wanting to talk about it. Whatever Pikachu had said to him worked.

End of the long flashback.

Bonnie, Clemon, Alain, Tierno, Trevor and Sawyer all glared at the group.

" May I take your order? " A waitress snapped them all out of their thoughts.

Around half an hour later the Kalos group were close to finishing thier meal when......

" Can one of you have a battle with me? " Max asked enthusiastically.

" Max , thats rude! " May scolded him. " Sorry about him "

" No problem. " Clemont said, faking a smile.

" So you said you wanted a battle? " Alain asked, intrigued.

" Yeah! " He replied.

" I guess I'll have to battle you " Bonnie stated. The others looked at her, they wanted to crush this guy....

" Bu- " Trevor began.

Bonnie shot him a glare. " I am the first member of the elite four, so it only fair "

" Since when do you care about whats fair? " Clemont muttered.

The two groups headed outside to the battle field, each walking to their own side.

" This will be an...... Um... " Brock began

" 6 vs 6 " Max and Bonnie yelled.

" Very well. This will be a 6 on 6 battle between Max Maple and from the Kalos elite four Bonnie. Trainers please choose your first Pokemon. " Brock announced.

" Dedenne lets go! " Bonnie yelled as she threw a pokéball.

" Gallade lets win this! " Max cheered as he threw his pokéball.

Both Pokemon appeared on the field.

" This match will be between Gallade and Dedenne. " Brock said

" No duh! " Tierno yelled from Bonnie's side, earning some laughs from the crowd that gathered around.

" Alright, we'll go first. Gallade start off with focus punch! " Max ordered.

Gallade ran off twords Dedenne with his fist glowing.

Dedenne just sat their and yawned. There really wasn't a reason to move yet. It was slow and the power of the move looked weak.

Bonnie sighed. She pointed at the approaching Gallade " Nuzzle "

In a split second Dedenne took off and shocked his opponent before he could even finish his move.

Gallade jumped backwards, wanting to distance himself away from the rat.

Max looked at his Pokemon and saw that it was already badly hurt, with just one move.

' He should be lucky Dedenne was only at 10% of his power ' Bonnie thought as a smirk appeared on her face.

' Although I'm not allowed to put that pokemon out of commission because Ash would get mad at me, I'm sure I can still make this worth wild. His Pokemon may be weak but that not how I plan to hurt them. At least not now. '

Sorry I haven't realised this chapter yet I got sidetracked. Hopefully I'll have a new chapter out in the next day or two if not tomorrow. Thanks.
