"So this is the school... not bad looking," Yu-Jin murmured as she looked around the building. The entry to the building was extravagant; had all sorts of designs and decorations. It was surrounded by all sorts of trees and flowers making it look beautiful. That's a rich kids' school for you.

The building looked taller than twenty feet and it had so many tiny windows. It was completely different from their previous high school.

"I know right. I am glad that you liked it." Her mother picked up on what she said.

"Damn. You really do have strong hearings." Jin-Yu said with her eyes and mouth opened wide, the eyebrows raised.

Bong rolled her eyes as she chuckled. "I obviously have to have one. Your dad likes to talk under his breath all the darn time. So yeah, I picked that habit up to understand what he is saying most of the time."

"We are going to be late if we keep on chitchatting here." Yu-Jin grabbed the arms of her mom and her sister and dragged them inside.

"Can I help you, ladies?" A man that looked around his thirties stopped them in the corridor. He had a small scar on top of his forehead and a cut through his left eye. He stood tall as he had on a dark navy sleeveless shirt with black trousers.

Bong Soon stared at him for a moment before speaking up. "Ah yeah. Could you please show us the principal's office?"

The man let out a chuckle and bowed. "Sure. This way." And wave his hand around to gesture them to follow him.

"Is it safe to follow him?" Yu-jin leaned to whisper in her mom's ears. Bong-Soon stared at the man's back as he walked ahead. "I don't see any harm in it. Besides, if he tries anything, we three can take him down." She winked and turned back to follow the man.

Yu-Jin just shrugged nonchalantly as she was used to her mom not caring about anything. They followed the man as he went through the hallway. He stopped at a brown door and knocked.

"Come in." Said a voice. He turned the knob and held the door open for them. "Please get in."

"Thank you." They bowed and let themselves in.

"Ah. Welcome, welcome" The principal got up from his seat and bowed. "This is the Ahn family right? I was expecting you."

Bong-Soon and the girls took a seat after they bowed. "Yes, I talked to you in the morning about enrolling my girls into your school."

The principal's mouth quirked into a smile before he looked up at the guy that brought them. "Shin-Woo, you can leave now. I got this." The man pushed his glasses closer to his face and nodded before staring internally at Yu-Jin and then left.

Yu-Jin who was obliviously creeped out by the creepy stare the man gave her wrinkled her nose and just shrugged. "Now, let's start with formalities." The principal spoke up as he intertwined his fingers together.

"My name is Kang Beom-Soo and I have been the principal for this school for the past twelve years." He paused for a second as he took a document from his cabinet under his desk. "Min-Hyuk told me about your daughters are joining the second grade right?"

Bong leaned forward and nodded. "They are both joining the second grade. Though they were born in Korea, they were raised in the States, but don't worry, they have some ideas about the Korean culture."

The principal nodded in acknowledgment. "That's good. I supposed that they are affluent in Korean, right?"

"Yes."

"Then that's good. They shouldn't be that problem in them adjusting to this school."

Bong cheered in response. "So what's the next step after enrolling?"

"Ah yes, all they need to do is to take an entrance exam to see where they are and if they do better than average, then they will be enrolled and they can immediately start."

Jin-Yu raised her hand. "Ah yes, go ahead...what did you want to ask?"

"Thank you, Mr. Kang, I had one question. Do we have to wear a uniform?"

The principal let out a chuckle before nodding his head. "I know that in America you don't have to wear one, but here, you have to."

Jin-Yu's eyes widened and lifted her eyebrows. "But uniforms do not look good on me. Can I have some exception?"

Yu-Jin started laughing loudly upon hearing what her sister said. "Dude, you should know better than anyone that is impossible."

"Yah!" Bong smacked the head of her eldest daughter. "Don't you know that it is rude to laugh loudly like that in front of your elders?"

Yu-jin let out a wince. "That's painful you know." She rubbed the part that was smacked. "My head could have fallen."

"You deserve it." She wiggled her eyebrows at her sister.

Bong just shooked her head before she sighed. "I am so sorry about my girls' behavior, Mr. Kang."

"No no, it is okay. They are actually amusing. They remind me of my relationship with brother." He smiled and threw his head back laughing. "We both also used to act like that when we were young. We still fight to this day."

She let out a chuckle. "Well, I get that too since I have a younger sibling, but we don't fight like the way these two fight." She glanced at them briefly before turning back at the principal. "I wonder where they got it from."

"Are you really asking that?" Yu-Jin squinted her eyes at her mom.

"Shush. Now, let's go back to what we were discussing. When can they take the test?"

He took out another document before he passed it to Bong. "Just go through this document. It contains information about the school and the expectations. On the 5th, they can come back with this document and start the test on the day itself. We will let you know on the 9th and after that, they can start school on the 11th with the rest of the students."

She smiled before standing up to shake his hands. "Thank you, Mr. Kang. You were very helpful today. We will see you next time."

He did a double-handed handshake. "You are always welcome, Mrs.An. Have a great rest of your day and girls, I wish you good luck." He smiled warmly at them.

"Thank you, Mr. Kang." They both said at the same time and bowed before they left the room.

"What next Omma?" Jin-Yu leaned on the car door. "Are we going somewhere else?"

As her mom and her sister were talking, Yu-Jin just stood around staring at her surrounding. Just as she was about to get inside the car, she felt goosebumps running through her body. It was as if someone was staring at her from afar. She whirled her neck around to look at where she felt the stare from, but there was no one.

What the hell was that? Yu-Jin kept on thinking as she checked around to make sure that it was just her illusion.

"Yu- Yu-Jin!"

"Huh?" She looked to see her sister grabbing her hands.

"Are you okay, Unnie?" She titled her head with narrowed eyes. "I have been calling you for the last minute, but you seemed lost."

Yu-Jin rubbed the back of her neck before she let out a nervous chuckle. "Nah. I was just busy thinking about what to eat for dinner."

She scrunched her nose. "Why do you always think about food?"

"It is none of your business. Besides, nothing in this world is better than food."

"Please, th-"

"Girls! Hurry we need to go now." They were interrupted by their mother who was losing her patience.

They all got into their car and got out of the parking spot. As soon they left, a figure got out of behind the trees with a dark on their face.

"Just you wait, your time will come soon." A smirk appeared on their face as they left the scene.

*****🔮*****

"Why in the world are we at the mall?" Yu-Jin looked around as the place was surrounded by flashy decorations. After half an hour of driving, they arrived at a very crowded place.

"Is it me or is South Korea very crowded?"

Bong stared at her younger daughter and let out a chuckle. "That's South Korea for you. Ah, I really missed this place."

Yu-Jin's mouth quirked into a smile as she saw the blissful look on her mom. She must have missed her hometown after being separated from it for so long.

"Today, I am going to show you two what South Korea's life is like, so be ready for it." She winked mischievously.

Yu-Jin let out a groan. "I knew that I was going to regret coming here."

"Oh, come on, Unnie! We are going to have some fun today!"

"Fun? At a mall?" She pursued her lips and shook her head. "I don't think so."

Bong rolled her eyes as her two daughters started their tantrums again. Be it at the house or outside, they were always at it.

"Girls, let's go. Everyone is staring at your idiocy."

And she grabbed both of their arms and dragged them inside. That's how the three duos spent their entire day; going around Seoul and enjoying spending their time together while an enemy lurked around, watching them with ill intent.
