chapter 13 | virgin or not
It was almost 12 am, when Chayoung stood outside the house wherein the party Jungkook had invited her to was held. She had no doubts which house it was when she saw the people through the windows and could hear the loud music all the way from the end of the street.
It had taken the girl some time to get there. Jungkook had offered to pick her up when her shift was over, but she didn't like the thought of Jungkook showing up at her work and she didn't want to burden him either. In addition to that, now that she was spending money on a public transportation card she might as well use it, she thought.
The girl stood outside the house looking inside it for a while before actually entering. She didn't know anyone. This was a different house from the party Haneul had invited her to — obviously because that was Haneul's friend, this was Jungkook's.
She wanted to bring Haneul, but she didn't think it'd be a great idea given that the girl would come straight off of work and Haneul then would have to wait basically until 12 am for her friend to show up.
The girl went straight to the kitchen when she saw it. The countertop was filled with different bottles of liquor and other drinks to mix it up with. She remembered how at parties like these, no one owned anything and everyone would share. The alcohol was free. And she made a drink immediately when she found a plastic cup.
Despite the drinks being free, the fact that the girl didn't know anyone made her feel needing of a drink. The only person she knew was Jungkook, but the amount of people in the house put out the hope of finding him anytime soon.
She wondered if it was a bad decision showing up here. Jungkook may already be boozed, given the party started at 8. And Chayoung was pretty tired from her shift.
She'd not even cared to dull up for the party as she went straight from her work to the party. The only thing she'd changed was her bottoms. She'd put on a skirt that was less risky on top of her fishnet bandeau bodysuit. She simply put a black bolero on so she wouldn't get too cold on her arms.
The girl mixed her drink and just as she put the cup to her lips, a hand landed on her shoulder and she looked up to find Jungkook next to her.
It was a huge relieve to see Jungkook and the girl let out both a mental but also a literal breath she'd been unconsciously holding for quite a while. As the relieve of not being amongst 100 unfamiliar faces without even one recognizable had cooled down, her reaction threw her kind of off. Why was she this relieved to see Jungkook? It was like it wasn't just the relief of a familiar face... but a happy sensation as well?
"Found you." Jungkook said.
"Don't act like you've been looking." Chayoung chuckled and sipped her drink. It had way too little alcohol in, so she grabbed the vodka, pouring more in and then some.
"Tough shift?" Jungkook questioned after noticing the additional strong liquor she poured in.
Chayoung zoned out a bit at the question. It took her by surprise. Her shift wasn't the reason she was craving a strong drink... more like the fact that she only knew Jungkook in this room full of uncountable people.
But now that had Jungkook asked... her shifts were always tough.
It wasn't easy breaching your own principles everyday. It wasn't easy stepping onto that stage, throwing off clothes piece by piece, doing exactly what her deceased mother never wanted her to do. It was actually really tough.
But at the moment, it was essential for the girl's survival.
"Chayoung?" Jungkook sensed her distant behavior. The girl shook her head at the mention of her name before looking up at Jungkook and sending him a smile and answering his question, "No, just tiring."
"Right." Jungkook mused as he looked the girl up and down.
The girl noted the way his teeth played with his lip ring while taking in her outfit. He definitely did not have innocent thoughts in mind. But the girl didn't mind that, she let him watch.
"Wanna come play with us?" The boy nodded towards a certain direction, but the girl couldn't see who he motioned at. There were a lot of people in the way and it was quite dark as well.
But no matter if she wanted to or not, she really had no choice because she only knew Jungkook and as off right now (sober) she needed to stay with him. The girl wasn't used to making friends.
So she simply nodded and followed as Jungkook grabbed her hand and led her to the couch in the living room where a bunch of other people sat around a small table.
Jungkook showed Chayoung an empty seat on a couch chair which she gladly took as she had no idea what to do with herself. Jungkook then walked across the table and sat down next to a guy which he dabbed up.
That must be a friend of his
The girl thought but immediately deadpanned herself internally because these people must all be Jungkook's friends.
That's a lot of friends...
The girl quickly figured that they played truth or dare. Some people joined and some left during the game that went on for long. But one specific person, she noticed.
It was a girl. She was very pretty, Chayoung must admit, and it kind of annoyed her. Especially because she sat down next to Jungkook and immediately started talking to him.
Chayoung didn't really pay attention to the game anymore. She quietly observed the girl who, when she laughed, intentionally touched Jungkook with her hand as if she was fragile enough to break from her laughter and had to hold onto something.
Chayoung thought it was pathetic, kind off.
She had always hated men and she would never act like that around any man just to gain his attention.
The girl wasn't one to seek attention, she just automatically got it. Fun thing to say, noting her job was dancing in little-to-no clothes in front of men, but she didn't do that for attention. She did it for money.
That girl right there, obviously did it to keep Jungkook's eyes on her. Yet, something told her that these two had history.
Mainly because when a guy in the circle had asked who Chayoung was and Jungkook introduced her as his friend from college, the girl next to him had given her certain eyes. Maybe it was jealousy, but there was no reason for that because Jungkook simply called them friends.
But whatsoever, if it was jealousy or not, the girl did not sit right with Chayoung. She was actually kind of ruining her mood.
"Chayoung..."
And as if the devil himself heard her, the whiny voice of the clingy girl across from her and next to Jungkook called out her name.
Chayoung looked up, catching an awful eye contact, but one she didn't waver in holding.
"Truth or dare?" The girl, whose name she'd come to known as Dahlia, questioned.
Chayoung didn't look away from Dahlia, but felt the eyes of the people gathered around the couch table all on her. And for a moment, she actually questioned where her confidence at the strip club usually came from. Even her arm pits were getting sweaty.
"Truth." Chayoung sad after taking a suspiciously long time to respond.
No one but her knew how anxious she felt being in such a big crowd of people, all waiting for her to speak.
"Okay..." Dahlia said, put her hands on the floor and leant back. She looked around the group of people, probably trying to find a question that would blow everyone away. She looked like that type of girl. Someone, who enjoyed stepping on others to get taller herself.
Chayoung expected the worst.
This girl seemed exactly like the ones who laughed at her in school when everyone was watching, just to make it even more embarrassing. She reminded her of her bullies.
Dahlia's eyes stopped when they landed on Jungkook next to her, who was busy looking at Chayoung for some unknown reason. Why was he looking at her? Why was he not looking at Dahlia, anticipating her question?
And then, the perfect question popped into her mind.
"Are you a virgin?" She questioned.
Dahlia definitely got virginity vibes from Chayoung. Except for her quite extroverted type of outfit, she'd been so quiet and seemed to be small in her seat. She almost shrieked into the chair when deciding whether she wanted to choose truth or dare.
And Dahlia knew of Jungkook's experience. She knew how Jungkook liked it. She knew how rough he could be... and he would dead sure rather want to fuck Dahlia than a vanilla virgin.
However on the other side of the table, Chayoung almost breathed a sigh of relief at the question. It could've been less personally aggressive, but Chayoung wasn't embarrassed about her answer.
"I am." She admitted quickly after the question was asked. She almost appeared to be proud.
The people around her turned silent. Maybe they weren't directly shocked, but her confidence about confessing her innocence, was shocking. Wasn't she... embarrassed?
But to the stripper, she wanted nothing more than to be a virgin.
Her first time was for money with a guy she didn't know, didn't love, didn't want and a guy who didn't even please her.
To her, she didn't want that to be the picture of her first time. She gave her body over in order to get to college and hopefully escape the path she'd been destined for ever since her father left her mother, even before she was born.
She wouldn't say she lost her virginity until it was with someone whom she liked or at least someone who she wanted to have sex with.
Dahlia looked to her side and saw the confusion on Jungkook's face. But still his eyes were stuck on her.
Jungkook couldn't believe it.
Chayoung was a virgin? She was a stripper, knew how to seduce a guy and turn him on and... she was a virgin.
Somehow it kind of clicked inside of Jungkook.
That, was why she'd seemed scared when he whispered into her ear the first day of school. That, was why she'd run away at the club after knowing the effect she had on him. That, was why she...
...suddenly seemed more attractive.
"Okay, my turn." The girl who Jungkook had been staring at said.
It was like a new confidence had taken over her by the question she got. It was impressive how she carried her virginity with pride and wasn't ashamed of it. While Chayoung wasn't even able to understand how someone could be ashamed of it.
But oh, how badly Jungkook wanted to show her what it felt like...
"No wait, I have another question." Dahlia intervened.
Chayoung felt a sizzling fire within her start, but decided to let the girl talk. She didn't know any people here and maybe they were used to listening to Dahlia anyway.
"Are you not embarrassed about it?" Dahlia let out along with a chuckle.
"No, why would I?" Chayoung tilted her head and lifted her brows, waiting for a valid answer.
It was like the irritating effect this Dahlia girl had on Chayoung made her forget about all the eyes on her.
Dahlia shrugged, "I'd be embarrassed." She mumbled to herself and a few people around her nodded as they caught eye contact.
"Dahlia." Jungkook whispered through clenched teeth. He didn't want her to act up now.
Chayoung straightened up and shifted to the edge of the chair she sat on, "Oh, so you'd be embarrassed if you hadn't had multiple dicks up your gash? You would be embarrassed to say that you don't give your body to any man who walks your path, huh? I see..." The girl let out a chuckle, "You need the validation of knowing that guys only want you for your hole to pleasure themselves with. That's kind of sad that that's where you get your confidence from... the amount of boys who went in, out and left. I'm perfectly fine with having my body be a sacred place. I'm actually very proud that I don't need the validation of a dick inside me."
The people who sat and watched the girl had dropped their mouths. They didn't expect the quiet girl to be so feisty. But Dahlia simply laughed at that. She didn't budge.
"At least I have had a dick inside me. At least people want me." She chuckled and turned to her side, "Right Jungkookie?"
Oh, the girl thought. Right, she knew that the two had had some kind of history. Was that Jungkook's ex-girlfriend? It surely would explain the threatening looks she'd received during the game.
Jungkook was baffled by the whole situation to even say anything. The only think he caught up on, was the frown seeping onto Chayoung's face as if she'd let his ex-girlfriend's words sink into her.
Chayoung didn't let the words of that annoying girl sink into her. However, the anxiety suddenly came crawling up on her when she realized all the attention on her and the fact that people seemed to be on Dahlia's side.
She didn't want to go back to school and back to how it was. She didn't want to be excluded again. It was the worst feeling ever. She'd hated school. No one ever talked to her, they always talked about her. She was always alone. People were ganging up on teasing her. They always had their eyes on her. Their eyes, their laughter, their voices, their-
"Chayoung?"
The girl hadn't even noticed, but Jungkook was squatted down in front of her chair, trying to catch her gaze as it bewildered had fallen to the floor.
Her eyes were fluttering from Jungkook's one eye to the other. Her breath had quickened and her face was all flushed.
Jungkook had only seen her like this once before. It was the first time he ever saw her. She'd worn the same look. The expression that seemed somewhat anxious. As if her mind was a place far from her body. As if she was fighting something within her. As if she was scared.
He didn't want her to be anxious. He didn't want her to ever feel alone. And he knew in this room, full of people who all knew each other, he was the only one who could make her feel alright.
So he placed his hand on her cheek and pulled her in until their lips met.
Some would say they could hear Dahlia scream Jungkook's name in the back, but all Jungkook paid attention to was her heartbeat.
After a few seconds, he pulled back.
Maybe, it was a mistake... but he didn't know what else to do to calm her down.
Chayoung's heartbeat was still racing at high speed.
But now, it was because of something else.
"Jungkook!" Dahlia's voice sounded again and Chayoung's eyes detached from Jungkook's which made his head hung low in annoyance.
"Dahlia, stop-" Jungkook started as he stood up from his squatted position, but he stopped when he felt Chayoung's hand on his shoulder.
When he looked back at her, her expression was completely changed.
It confused him, because just seconds ago she seemed as if she was about to have a panic attack.
It confused him, because, only the girl herself knew how good of an actress she was.
"Doesn't seem like there's much to your words Dahlia. Don't you feel embarrassed now?" The girl spoke simply before turning around a leaving.
She was done with this situation and done with this girl.
It was only when she'd reached the kitchen and Jungkook's hand felt on her wrist, she realized what just happened.
Jungkook had kissed her. Jungkook had fucking kissed her, and it made her feel fucking good.
Maybe because Dahlia saw it, but fuck it felt good all the way down in her stomach.
And the tingle was still there when she turned around and met Jungkook's eyes.
It felt a bit awkward to the girl.. he kissed her, "I-I'm sorry I-"
No more words left her mouth as Jungkook's lips clashed onto hers.
The girl was surprised again, but this time she complied and kissed him back.
The kiss was aggressive, hungry and exactly like Chayoung had thought Jungkook's kiss would be. His one hand grabbed around her neck and the other squeezed her waist tightly, bumping her body into his.
The girl could not deny it. He was a good kisser.
Chayoung's hand reached for his hair and entangled her fingers in it. When her tongued swiped across his lucious lips, she felt his lip ring which made a shiver run through her body. She'd always liked his lip piercing.
Jungkook's mouth slowly moved to her jaw, leaving wet kisses there. The girl pulled on his hair at the sensation of his tongue roaming around her skin and trailing down her neck until he found a sweet spot that made a small moan escape the girl's lips.
Jungkook smirked into her neck and decided to stay there and suck on the spot. He could definitely get used to that sound.
Chayoung felt her body temperature rise almost to the extend where she wondered if she was having a fever. Her head throbbed as Jungkook lips deliciously cherished her neck and both his hands now reached her hips and squeezed them, making her inhale deeply. Their bodies clung against each other and Chayoung felt Jungkook's erection grow.
Slowly, Jungkook's kisses stopped. He blew on the wet spots which made Chayoung shiver at the cool feeling of Jungkook's breath. Jungkook straightening up and towered over her, forcing her to bent her neck to look up at him. His eyes were dark, his lips glistened and all she wanted to do was to kiss them again.
But before she got the chance to tip toe so she could reach his lips, Jungkook bent down and made a grip under her thighs before lifting the girl up. She squealed at the elation it made her feel before Jungkook put her back down on the countertop.
"You know..." Jungkook's voice was low and raspy and it was almost unintelligible due to the loud music, but Chayoung's senses were very much awake and very much focused on him. The girl nodded, which made her hair fall down in front of her eyes.
Jungkook chuckled and removed it, tucking it behind her ear and cupping her cheek afterwards, "What you did back there. It was fucking hot."
Before she got to react, he pulled her in for another lustful kiss. The impact of his aggressive lips on hers forced her head a little back, but she was quick to gain control over her movements again.
She was an excellent kisser Jungkook thought. She was tasty, her body was perfect for letting his hands run down and her legs that wrapped around him made it even harder for him to resist pulling off her clothes right there on the kitchen counter in the middle of the party.
The girl suddenly pulled back. Her lips were red and a bit swollen. It made him smirk, knowing he did that. Her arms were around his neck which kept the two close. Very close. Close enough to push forward and capture her lips in another kiss, but as Jungkook tried to do exactly that, the girl pulled back.
Jungkook was confused for a moment, but instead of overthinking it, he let his head fall as he let out a chuckle. The thought that this girl was a virgin stroke his mind which made him chuckle even more.
How could she be this hot, this sexy, this good at kissing when she had no experience?
Maybe, she was just a natural.
The boy licked his lips and stepped away from the girl. When he looked at her, their eyes met. She had a faint smile on her lips, as if she tried to hide it. Her cheeks were a vibrant red and her pupils were dilated. Fuck, she was so attractive.
But it was only a brief eye contact before Chayoung got shy and had to look away and down into her lap. She heard Jungkook's chuckle as she broke the eye contact. His gaze was so strong. It made her nervous. And he very much likely enjoyed that.
But what was strongest of all, was the fear inside the girl. And it was the thing that made her pull away from the kiss, before it would unfold to something she couldn't control.
Partly because she was still questioning Jungkook's intentions.
She knew she was hot and he was probably attracted to that. He kissed her in the middle of an anxiety attack. Maybe it worked, but wasn't it quite of a selfish act? Perhaps all Jungkook wanted was still just the pleasure.
But mostly, she was scared because she'd never felt like this before.
The thought of wanting to have sex had never before crossed her mind until Jungkook's hands roamed her body and his lips trailed her skin. She'd never had sex with a person who she actually wanted to touch her. Someone who actually turned her on... someone who got her wet just from a single kiss.
She'd never had a person make her wet from a single fucking kiss. And it was hella scary.
