After 48hrs of continous struggle with my preparation, I stood infront of God to help me with the mess. My parents came to drop me at college but I insisted Dr Amogh to do it. My strike towards them is still on. Moreover, I need someone who doesn't talk with me whole ride. As soon as I approached his car, he opened backdoor for me.

"I.m" I tried to ask him but he just nodded his head and motioned his eyes to get inside.

"You need to study peacefully. There's still 1.5hrs for your exam to start. Sit here,  look through pages. You will feel discomfort if you sit in front seat." He spoke getting into drivers seat. My mom was too angry to even wish me luck as if I insisted to sit here. Whereas his mom blessed me to have good memory power and patience throughout my exam. Dr Amogh reversed his car, whole ride he asked me questions as revision which really helped to look into those topics again. For a moment I forgot he's my professor, dropping me to college that too our departments are different.

"Sir." I called out.

"Hmm." He replied.

"Sir, this pendant and bracelet. Can you keep this with you? I am not allowed to wear any jewelry." I stated. He extended his hand for me to drop whatever jewellery I had on my body. Asking him to stop few meters away from the main gate, I got down silently. He wished me good luck and waited for Jaidev to join me.

After a week of extreme stress, sleepless nights, tiring days my 3 years worth of struggle came to an end.

"Yo! Practicals n we are done!." Jaidev shouted making other colleagues hoot after him. Kasturb sat silently looking at his feet lost in his thoughts.

"What happened?." I asked him.

"Nothing! I won't be with you two after one week. Probably for graduation I will come here." He said. We both looked at eachother sadly. I love him to the core, he's been my secret angel these 3 years helping me solve every problem with a smile. Jaidev too played his role, more of a big brother rather than my friend. We three hugged eachother after some emotional discussions.

"So... I heard he helps you to revise?." Jaidev wiggled his brows as my other friend snickered at me.

"He does. Not lying, I think he's got double degree or something. Can you imagine him tutoring me on our subject?." I asked as matter of fact.

"Well well, he do seem sincere about his feelings. Imagine not entertaining anyone all these years just to make you realize what an amazing gem he is. " Kasturb commented. I went silent. They carried on talking about how we have to prep our patients, study about different things but my mind got stuck with him.  Since my exams are over, do I need to stay with him until my practicals or go back home? My life is so messed up,  I am thinking of asking permission to stay my own house, too awkward to ask Dr Amogh about my departure as I don't want his family to feel bad. Where do I belong exactly?

"You are lost." Kasturb said holding my phone infront of my eyes. Dr Amogh's call flashed before me. I nodded my head at them and left the group to attend him.

"Yes sir?." I greeted. I heard long huff on other side.

"How was your paper?." He asked. I replied with an ok.

"Where are you now?." He asked.

"I am hanging out with my friends. We are planning to go out for dinner." I informed like a school girl.

"That's nice. Relax and refresh." He replied. We both were silent for few minutes. How should I thank him? I mean he's been like my own colleague helping me to prepare, how will I say thank you for it?

"You want to talk something?." He asked. I nodded my head forgetting he's not here.

"Yes. I... wanted to ask... you know...it's kinda awkward. Do you want me to stay with you?." I asked him finally. There was sharp intake of breath on the other side. Did he mean it in some other way??

"What I meant is...since my exams are over. I don't think I should stay with you,  although I need to ask permission to stay at my own house. I figured you won't be liking my presence at your place. You see, you have kept the bargain on your end perfectly, now that it's done, I should leave." I blabbered feeling frustrated.

"Where are you?." He asked again.

"I... thank you. Sorry. I mean thank you for helping me like my parents asked you to. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable all these days nor trouble you. " I answered realizing how fucked up am speaking with my so called professor. He sighed again. My ears turned pink knowing this is not the type of conversation you do over the phone. He just meant to ask how my exam went, here I am complaining, whining and cribbing like a child. My parents meant good for me as they think he's brilliant which he actually turned out to be. They wanted me to just get through this but my ego still doesn't accept that they thought I need HIM to pass my exams.

"Anagha?." He called out. I hummed looking at my group who signed me to join them for lunch.

"Old pathology lab? In 10min? I am sure you all are going to meet at canteen for lunch immediately. I want to meet you as I am pretty sure, your group will drag you out as soon as you are done with lunch. " He spoke activating Butterfies in my tummy.

"Hmmm I will come." I replied after which he disconnected our call. Jaidev looked at me as if I had some sex talk over the phone.

"You seem to be" He continued to say something but I showed him my hand. Dragging both my friends aside saying our professor wanted them to get informed about some case. Kasturb understood its related to something serious whereas jai constantly nagged about how lucky I am to romance during college hours.

"We wasted 5min already. It will take 5 more min for you to reach there. I am sure he's busy but chose to meet you. Just go,  we will cover for you. Have lunch with him or something I don't care. I will message whatever story we cooked up for you ok?." Kasturb said holding me by my shoulders.

"And... you can't miss going out to dinner with us and most importantly we three are going for a movie post dinner or  somewhere alone. Got it? You can't fuck up our time!." Jai commented winking at me. I rolled my eyes irritated at their banter but smiled giving them thumbs up. Turning around I brisk walked towards the lab where we met few days ago.

Why do I feel goosebumps, butterflies and wired at the same time?
