(3rd Person)

The sounds of combat were easy to hear for any student who passed by the cliff where the initiation was at before. The sight is the regular training place for (Y/N) and Aidan. The deal was that every time (Y/N) would actually listen and give correct answers in his studies then Aidan would train him in combat and mastering his semblance.

Aidan went for an overhead kick, (Y/N) held his left hand up to block the attack before delivering a spinning back kick with Pain in its greave form, Aidan stumbled back but (Y/N) was instantly on him slamming Gain as a gauntlet into Aidan's cheek. Aidan slid across the ground but jumped up in time to miss Gain's bullets.

Aidan: You're good with your weapons, but you still have two weaknesses, one's obvious, the other is subtle but easy to see.

(Y/N) smirked at that before firing another bullet which Aidan easily tilted his head to avoid. Aidan teleported but (Y/N) wasn't fooled as he turned slamming his elbow into Aidan's face, which would've happened had Aidan not managed to catch it. Aidan then chopped (Y/N)'s right arm causing him to back up with a hiss of pain.

Aidan: I'm surprised Ozpin hasn't kick you out yet, a one armed fighter could fight at least, but someone who has an injured arm makes it obvious. Especially with bandages like those...

(Y/N): Yeah, well I'd like to hide nothing, especially from my friends!

Aidan: You'd show your weaknesses to anyone you fought?

(Y/N): Nah, Melissa's still a witch.

Aidan: Well at least you have your priorities straight, now, as for the second weakness...

Aidan was cut short as a gauntlet slammed into his chin, (Y/N) used his speed to quickly hit Aidan up before grabbing his leg and slamming his mentor into the ground. He pulled on his leg again and delivered a hard gut punch, then he turned Gain and Pain into gauntlets and kicked Aidan in the stomach with both weapons sending him flying.

(Y/N) hit himself which made him grit his teeth in anger, he crouched slightly before a shock wave appeared from the force of his legs pushing off the ground, he appeared above Aidan where he was ready to hit him with a double axe handle, but was caught off guard by Aidan's relaxed face. Before he knew it a second Aidan appeared behind him and slammed his leg into the boy's back while the first Aidan's fist contacted hard with (Y/N)'s face. The two then stomped on his back sending the boy crashing through the ground below.

Aidan: Your semblance is powerful, however I've fought it for thousands of years and know it's weaknesses easily: you can only feel one emotion at a time, that's everyone's weakness with that semblance meaning in battle you can only have one power at a time, as long as I figure out what emotion you're feeling, I can turn your power against you.

Aidan was caught off guard by a childish giggle from behind him, he couldn't turn in time as a gauntlet slammed into the back of his neck before the clone disappeared from having its neck turn 180 degrees causing a sickening snap.

(Y/N): Yep, same lesson as always, don't think I don't learn Aidan! Ha ha!

However the parasite pushed himself out of the ground as if there were no problems. He looked back at his student landing behind him, (Y/N) wobbled slightly before straightening himself with a sigh of relief.

Aidan: Indeed, I'd expect at least that much out of you, oh and as a reward for keeping up with me longer than any other times we sparred, we'll go to Vale's bakery.

(Y/N): Score!!

Aidan: Come on, I need something to occupy myself when all we can do is spar since our rather interesting friends are all on missions.

(Y/N): Got that right...

Aidan: And what about that team CFVY? How did that game of monopoly you planned with them go?

The boy stopped dead in his tracks, he gulped while recalling the once innocent game of monopoly turned deadly...

(Flashback)

Coco: Dammit, how many times am I going to jail?

(Y/N): He he, Coco's a natural criminal!

Fox: The only criminal thing about her is how many times she steals our wallets to pay for new clothes...

(Y/N): Oh, good thing I don't carry my wallet then.

Coco: I'll get it either way (Y/N).

(Y/N): Well...

(Y/N) suddenly pulled out a fancy black purse from behind him making everyone but Coco go wide-eyed.

(Y/N): You'd have to get yours back first!

Silence, followed by fearful looks from Fox, Coco and Yatsuhashi. They slowly turned to Coco who had a dark look on her face, she grabbed her handbag before to (Y/N)'s shock, amazement and sudden fear it transformed into a gatling gun.

Coco: Five seconds, give me back my purse, or get a body full of...

The board game with its pieces scattered everywhere since (Y/N) used his semblance to book it out of there.

(Flashback over)

(Y/N) glanced down at the purse he still had in his possession, he quickly glanced left, right, up and down but no sign of the fashionista herself, he sighed in relief before turning back to Aidan.

(Y/N): Let's just say, I'm glad one of my emotions causes a forcefield that's almost indestructible.

Aidan: That bad?

(Y/N): I had to find some way of getting out of the game! Coco was trying to steal my clothes if I lost all my money!

Aidan:... You oblivious idiot...

Coco: (Y/N)!!!!

(Y/N): Crap!!!

And thus the chase of Coco firing her gatling gun and (Y/N) panicking while running causing his forcefield to luckily appear around him while Aidan looked on with a slight smirk of amusement.

Coco: You not only steal my purse, you did it to leave our game!?

(Y/N): So!? I had places to be! Brownies to eat, and people who don't try to steal my clothes to see!!

Coco: I wasn't trying to steal your clothes!!

(Y/N): Don't you lie to me Miss fashionista!!!

Coco: You have no idea who I am!?

(Y/N): Who are you!?

Coco: Your demise!!

(Y/N): Nope!

Aidan simply sighed while continuing to smirk in amusement.

(Timeskip)

The student and teacher duo were currently walking through the streets of Vale, (Y/N) hopping forward with one foot at a time, Aidan had his hands in his black leather jacket while constantly pulling (Y/N) back using his telekinesis.

(Y/N): So, do all of you first parasites have the same abilities?

Aidan: Every parasite has different skills. But the first parasites are always gifted with the same ones: teleportation, telekinesis, cloning, orbs of destruction or life...

(Y/N): Orbs of destruction or life?

Aidan: You saw it with Melissa when you fought her last time, right? That orb that blew the back of your shirt off?

(Y/N): Oh, that thing, stung like hell when I first felt it.

Aidan: You're lucky that reincarnation spell she was under weakened her powers, those orbs are meant to literally disintegrate anything it touches.

(Y/N): Woah... could you use it to destroy Cardin then?

Aidan: Debatable...

(Y/N): He he...

The two continued to converse about irrelevant information and events while they walked to the bakery. Despite (Y/N)'s usual happiness, Aidan noticed he was being much less annoying than before which raised both his curiosity and concern. He didn't question it for now though as he didn't want to go through his annoying student's normal antics for today.

(With Cinder)

Little did they know that a familiar trio were following the two of them, Mercury and Emerald were staring at (Y/N) with determination whereas Cinder seemed hesitant.

Emerald: Remember the plan?

Mercury: Yep, time to get rid of the biggest problem to our plan once and for all...

Cinder: Do we really have to do this though?

Emerald: See! That's exactly the problem! You've never hesitated to carry out plans before! But now with that boy around, you've grown softer, you're even being nice to us two! Where's the Cinder that wouldn't acknowledge us unless we showed our worth! Where's the cold-hearted leader I once knew!?

Mercury: That boy's got you under lock and key and you don't even know it, (Y/N) (L/N) is slowly but surely changing you into a goody two shoes Cinder.

Cinder: He is not!!

Emerald: And there's our proof, you acted defensive when the subject was brought up, now Cinder, do you still have the guts to carry out Beacon's destruction, knowing your precious little friend is part of it now?

Cinder: M-Melissa wants him alive, she would kill you if you killed him...

Emerald: Screw her! She can just get someone else's body for all I care, this kid's going to make you pull out of the plan and we all know it! Cinder, it's either we kill him now and Beacon falls like we wanted, or we let him live on the slim chance that he won't change you and turn you into a stupid hero...

Cinder hesitated to answer, she just looked back at the smiling and laughing (H/C) haired boy with a look of regret, sorrow and guilt. Three emotions she never thought she'd be capable of, she knew from the beginning this boy would change her if she got too close and so made a personal note to stay away, but she failed to do so resulting in her attitude towards everyone drastically changing the more she spoke with (Y/N) (L/N).

She even remembered when they danced the night away at Beacon's dance last night, and the words he told her.

(Y/N): Of course you'd still be my friend!

Cinder gritted her teeth while clenching her fist, both in anger and confusion. Anger that this boy was making her into someone she never wanted or needed to be, and confusion as to whether she wants to stay on this path and betray everything she's known, or return to her old ways and betray the one person who's helped her feel the one thing she never thought she'd feel: happiness.

(With (Y/N) + Aidan)

With the brownies collected, (Y/N) was literally skipping out of the bakery with Aidan following with an annoyed look on his face.

???: (Y/N)!

With eyebrows raised, the two looked to their left to see Cinder in her black school uniform looking at him with a nervous expression. (Y/N) smiled instantly and raised his free hand while closing his eyes.

(Y/N): Yo!

Cinder: We haven't really hung out in a while, so...

(Y/N): Say no more! Aidan! Back to wherever you sleep! I need to spend time with one of my friends!

Aidan: Whatever... just be careful she's not out to steal your clothes either.

(Y/N): Will do! Oh, but the brownies are mine...

Aidan: Nope, you will have them later.

Aidan quickly stole the bag of brownies from the brownie lover and teleported back to Beacon before he could do anything.

(Y/N): OOH NOOOOOOOOO!!!

The boy fell to his knees while tears instantly flowed down his face, but then, he quickly started shaking in anger before standing up as his (F/C) aura suddenly appeared and flared wildly.

(Y/N): Aidan!!! I will never forgive you!!!

His aura quickly become golden while his hair almost became golden but he quickly realised something.

(Y/N): Oh wait, I'm only human... damn...

Cinder: (Y/N)??

(Y/N): Oh! Right! Totally forgot! So! Where shall our hangout spot be?

Cinder remembered the plan well: lure the boy into an alleyway where an illusion of Cinder being killed by a mugger will be played out by Emerald. They deduced it would devastate (Y/N) causing him to freeze up since they believe he's never seen death before, and in that moment, Cinder and Mercury will strike, permanently solving the (Y/N) problem.

That's what Cinder was about to say, when she saw (Y/N)'s innocent and happy expression. Not to mention his warm presence affecting her once again. Mercury and Emerald noticed her hesitation from their spot in the alleyway next to them, they were instantly shaking their heads in denial.

Cinder: Why don't we just walk around Vale, I'm pretty sure there's a lot of places I want to go to...

She couldn't help it once again, she gave in to the warmness (Y/N) was producing just by being with her, his smile was impossible to make anyone betray him. Besides, she's always wanted to do many things with friends, and now with (Y/N), she can just act like herself and happily hang out with her friends.

Emerald: At this rate we might have to cut Cinder from the plan, she's quickly becoming one of those damn kids thanks to (Y/N) (L/N)!!

Mercury: Yeah, the way this is going... we'd have to get rid of both Cinder and (Y/N) before he makes her spill everything...

???: Or maybe... we let this happen...

The two quickly turn around, only to see a familiar face that made them go wide-eyed.

Both: Melissa!?

Melissa: I'm not really here, just part of my magic, but I have been watching, and I say let this happen. It'll be an easy way of getting close to my favourite host once again...
