Chapter 7: Sleepover!

Kota, Nathan and Luke, leave right after the twins run back inside the house. They have to inform their brothers that I said yes, and clean up themselves, so I head into the house and go up to my room for a shower. I hear both the downstairs and the upstairs showers on as I walk past them to my room. I make the shower super hot to loosen up some of my tense muscles from earlier, and wash and shave quickly.

Once I'm out, I wrap a towel around myself and walk into my closet and take out a pair of jeans and a pink t-shirt, with my black converses, and underwear. After I'm dressed, I grab a small duffle bag and put in a change of clothes for tomorrow, along with clothes for tonight and a change of underwear. After my clothes are in, I go into my bathroom and throw in my body wash and my toothbrush before going over to Carly's room and grabbing clothes for tonight and tomorrow, before going over to Riley's room and doing the same.

The shower shuts off as I'm in his closet, and I call for whichever one of the twins is up here to grab their toothbrushes and bring them to me. Carly walks out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel with the toothbrushes in hand and hands them to me before going through the bathroom back into her room, closing the doors behind her. As I'm walking out of Riley's room, he's walking down the hallway with a towel slung around his waist and I wonder if I should bring our towels and washcloths as well. I pull my phone out of my back pocket and send off a text to Kota.

Sang: Should we bring our own towels and washcloths?

Kota: No, don't worry about that. We have plenty. Are you almost ready? My brothers are starting to think we made you up.

As Riley closes the door to his room, I call out to them, "Guys, hurry up and get dressed. The masses are getting restless."

They both call out their understanding while I text Kota back.

Sang: Lol, ok. The twins are still getting dressed. We'll be there soon.

About ten minutes later, the twins join me down in the living room, phones in hand.

"Did you remember your chargers?"

Their eyes widen before they run back up the stairs and come back down shortly after, chargers in hand. I take them with a laugh and stuff them in the duffle bag where mine is before throwing it over my shoulder, and grabbing my keys off the hook.

Walking next door should not be the workout it is, but with how long both driveways are, I'm starting to rethink not driving over.

Maybe we can make a path through the hedges so I don't waste gas.

After finally making it to their house, I knock on the door, and a boy with gorgeous crystal blue eyes answers. He has brown hair that hangs to his shoulders with two blonde locks framing his face. He's around Luke's height and build with orange studs in his ear and four black rings going up his right ear.

"Oy Luke!" He yells, his voice surprisingly deep for his appearance. "This girl we're waiting for? Is she a walking wet dream with gorgeous fucking hair?"

"Hey!" I say to him while covering the children's ears, "Watch your mouth before I have to wash it out."

"Sweetheart, you can wash anything you want." He says with a wink.

My eyes narrow at his remark, but before I can say anything else, Luke comes to the door slapping the boy on the head for me.

"Sorry about Gabe, Cupcake. His mouth isn't exactly child friendly. Come on in."

"Yeah, well he should probably fix that while we're here." I tell him walking in with the twins behind me.

"Sorry about that," Gabe says. "We're not around kids too much. I'm Gabriel Coleman, you can call me Gabe, everyone else does."

"NIce to meet you Gabriel. Just try and tone it down a bit ok? I don't need them picking up any bad habits."

"Sure thing Trouble."

"Trouble?" Riley asks him before I can.

"It's not a bad thing kid," Gabriel tells him.

He leads us down the hall and into the living room. The layout of their house is similar to ours. Stairs on our right, living room leading into the dining room and kitchen on our left, everything is just slightly larger. There are three couches, pushed out to the walls, with a massive entertainment center on the back wall. Kota is sitting on one of the couches with a boy with massive muscles and dark hair, while a boy with wavy brown hair is messing with the entertainment center.

"Oy Vic, did you get the system working yet?" Gabe asks the boy with wavy hair.

"Just about," he responds. "Are they here yet?"

"Pretty sure we are," I say with a smirk.

He whips around and I'm struck silent by the sight of his eyes. I now understand the term "fire in their eyes" because that's exactly what I'm looking at. His eyes are a light brown that contains a raging fire. The intensity turned up to a million at the moment.

"His eyes," Carly whispers.

"I know," I say to her.

He looks down at Carly and smiles, stealing my breath even further.

"Hey little one. What about my eyes?" He questions her.

"They're so pretty," she tells him in awe.

He chuckles, "Well thank you. I think your eyes are pretty too. What's your name little one?"

Carly, having used up all of her confidence for the moment, hides behind my leg, prompting Riley to answer for her.

"Her name's Carly. I'm Riley. Who are you?"

"Ri, manners." I remind him.

"Sorry sissy," he says to me before turning back to the boy with the fire eyes. "Can I have your name please?"

"Of course you can, I'm Victor. Can you tell me why she's hiding?"

"She's shy," Riley tells him.

I look around during their interaction and notice that we've gained the attention of the two on the couch. The boy sitting next to Kota, has dark eyes, matching his dark exterior. Although, something inside me tells me that he's not all bad. I tilt my head at him and raise an eyebrow. He answers with a smirk that lightens his expression. He's very handsome. Tan skin with a gold hoop in one ear, wearing all black.

"Kota, manners?" I turn my gaze to Kota.

"Oh, sorry," he blushes. "Sang, Riley, Carly, this is North."

"Nice to meet you North," I smirk in his direction.

"You don't look little," Riley tells him.

"Excuse me?" North asks him with a raised eyebrow.

"Riley?" I ask him.

"Sissy, Luke said North is his little brother. He doesn't look like a little brother. Not like me." Riley answers.

"We're step brothers," North tells him.

Well that explains it, because they look nothing alike.

"Well, all the same. Family is family. Right Ri?"

"Yes sissy."

"An excellent lesson to teach Ms. Sang."

I look behind me to see a man in a suit, looking absolutely perfect. A grey suit, with a white shirt and maroon tie. He has brown hair, parted to the side and styled to perfection. Steel grey eyes look into mine and I feel like he can find every flaw; see every hidden secret. I feel my spine straighten on its own accord, as feeling of never wanting to disappoint him passes over me.

"Just Sang, Mr...?"

"Blackbourne," he tells me, "Owen Blackbourne."

"A Bond fan by any chance?" I say with a smirk. Not able to stop my cheeky nature.

I see his lip curl up slightly; a millimeter in response to my quip. It can't exactly be classified as a smile, and it's gone almost instantly. I revel in the fact that I did that. It feels like an accomplishment; like he doesn't let people see him smile often.

"Not exactly Ms. Sang," he replies.

"Any way I can get you to drop the formality?" I ask him.

"Not a chance," a bubbly voice says.

Looking into the living room entryway, I see another new face.

Well Nathan did say that there were nine of them.

The newcomer has a happy face, with bright green eyes and curly blonde hair. He has a slim build like Owen, but the muscle definition is there as well, much like Kota.

"Any tips on how I can change that?" I ask him.

"Easy, give up." I hear North's deep voice chuckle. "We've known him for years and he still calls us by our last names."

"Well it's a good thing he doesn't know my last name then, isn't it?"

"Right you are Pumpkin. Where are my manners?" He says while face palming himself. "I'm Dr. Sean Green. Just Sean to you though." He finishes with a wink.

"You don't look like a doctor," Carly says from behind my leg. "You're too young."

"And you don't look like a monkey, yet you're hanging on to your sister like you're afraid she'll disappear." Sean tells her with a smile.

"I'm not a monkey." Carly tells him while coming from behind me.

"Ah, yes! Now I can see you! You're definitely not a monkey sugar plum. What's your name?"

"Carly."

I watch on in astonishment. Somehow, this doctor has managed to cure Carly of her aversion to males. Whether he is a real doctor or not, I own him all of my gratitude.

"That's a beautiful name sugar plum. And what about your twin?" Sean asks her.

"His name is Riley."

I look down at Ri and see that he has the same look of awe on his face at this miracle.

"Well it's a pleasure to meet you both. And a special thanks to you Pumpkin to bringing them over." Sean says to me.

"Pleasures all mine." I tell him with a smile. "Where can I put our bag?"

"I'll take that Aggele," a deep voice says, with a slight European accent.

I look around and see the final member of their family. He's huge. Rippling muscles, tan skin, dark hair, and soulful brown eyes. I wordlessly hand over my bag to the giant. He's easily six feet, maybe taller.

"Wow you're huge!" Riley says next to me.

"Riley!" I scold him.

"Sorry sissy."

"It's ok Aggele," the giant in question says to me. "I'm used to it. I'm Silas, pleasure to meet you."

"You too," I say, feeling a blush heat my cheeks.

"Alright!" I hear Gabe announce. "Now that Si's here, I commence that this sleepover is now in session!"

After Silas comes back from putting away our bags, we settle down on the couch to watch a movie. While the boys are trying to decide what movie would be age appropriate for the kids, the twins start to get hungry. We decide on pizza, and while Victor is placing the order, the twins and I resettle on the couch.

They've really let their guards down around these men; it would seem that somewhere along the line, they've come to trust Luke, Nate, and Kota, and in turn, trust their family. Honestly this is a huge relief. I'm glad they get to be like normal children, loving and trusting. Well, as normal as you can be having your older sister raise you.

Carly is currently cuddled up in between Luke and Gabriel, discussing which Disney princess is the best and why. Riley is with North and Nathan discussing monster trucks, and I'm in between Kota and Silas trying to figure out which movie we'd like to watch with our pizza.

When the pizza gets here and we still can't decide on a movie, we decide to flip a coin and let one of the twins decide. Heads, Carly could choose. Tails, Riley would.

"Alright you two," Kota starts, taking control. "We're not going to do this if you don't already have a movie in mind, so do you know what you want to watch?"

"Yes," the twins say together.

"Alright, here goes."

Kota flips the coin and it lands on the floor on heads. Carly cheers before going over to Victor and whispering to him what movie she wants to watch. While Victor gets the movie set up, the rest of us go into the kitchen to get plates for the pizza, and drinks. When we walk back into the living room, Carly cheers again as she sees the setup for Disney's Descendants, on the screen.

"Oh great, now she's gonna wanna watch it all the time," Riley complains.

"Can we borrow the DVD Victor? Please!" Carly begs.

"Sorry munchkin, it's not a DVD. But I can get it for you if you'd like," Victor tells her.

"Oh no, Victor, that's not necessary," I tell him while shaking my head.

We just met this guy, why would he just buy something for Carly? I know she's cute, but she's not that persuasive.

"Please sissy!" Carly begs me with her puppy eyes.

I kneel down to get to her level and say, "Carly, it's not polite to beg for something from someone you just met. I'll get it for you tomorrow."

"Sang, really it's not a problem," Victor assures me.

"Yea Sang, trust us. He does this all the time, don't worry about it." Kota tells me.

"Please sissy," Carly whispers. "I promise to be really good and only watch it when you let me."

I look up at Victor and see him nod. Closing my eyes I take a deep breath.

"Alright," I say on an exhale. "As long as you're sure it's not a problem." I say to Victor.

"It's no problem Princess." He tells me.

I smile at the term, and settle back on the couch with him and Kota.

"Hey," Carly wines. "How come she gets to be the princess?"

"Because she's older." Riley tells her after taking a bite of his pizza.

"Oh, ok."

With the twins settled back in their spots, everyone finds a seat, and Victor starts the movie. About halfway through, we hear little snores coming from the twins. Victor turns off the movie while Silas and I take them upstairs to the room they'll be sleeping in. When we get back to the living room, the pizza boxes have been put away, and everyone is sitting on the floor in a loose circle with adult drinks in the middle.

"Alright!" Gabriel announces. "Now that the kids are asleep, the real fun can begin!"
