Alya thought of what she has done by believing that liar over her best friend. For 2 years since Marinette and Adrien disappeared, Lila did not even feel worried like the rest of the classmates. It was like she wanted Marinette gone but wanted Adrien to herself.

"I really am the worst friend ever to Marinette. And now Adrien too is gone for the last two years" Alya said to herself.

"Babe, perhaps we should've listened to their side of the story," Nino said.

"But we didn't once again. How can we when they are missing or won't talk to us?" Alya looks down in shame.

"I don't know. Ladybug barely gave us our miraculous and now she and her kitty are like anti-heroes. What has changed them?" Nino wondered.

"I just wanna know that too," Alya said, knowing that her best friend is Ladybug, Marinette took the Fox miraculous away from her. She just couldn't tell her boyfriend Ladybug's secret identity.

"I just wonder if Adrien left because he had enough of his father," Nino said.

"It's possible. He barely ever chooses what he wants" Alya said.

"Where ever they are, I hope they are safe," Nino said.

At the abandoned warehouse, Adrien was too tired in the morning to wake up like the lazy cat he is.

Marinette noticed him still asleep and tries to wake him up, "Come on, Kitty"

"Meow. What time is it?" He sluggishly woke up.

"It's 9:50 am," Marinette said.

"Still morning" Adrien puts the pillow over his head.

"Yup. Don't oversleep or you'd be unable to sleep later" Marinette tries to pull him up.

"Okay, I'm up. I'm up" Adrien sluggishly groans and gets up, "For 2 years I can finally sleep rather than have Nathalie wake me up so early for my schedule"

"And I don't have to be late," Marinette said.

"But I still miss school. Anyways, do we need more food again because my kwami had to eat all the cheese last night?" Adrien said.

"Hey! I was hungry!" Plagg complained.

"Let's go shopping then" Marinette puts on her wig.

"Being a goth boy really hides me well" Adrien goes behind the Chinese folding screen panel to get dressed.

"Yeah, it sure does" Marinette applies dark eye shadow.

Adrien got dressed in a black shirt, black pants with chains dangling, combat boots, black leather fingerless gloves, and a black wig with green highlights.

"Well, babe, how do I look?" He showed himself.

"You look awesome. Now it's my turn to change" Marinette said.

"I always love that wig you wear" Adrien smirked.

"Thank you, Adrien. It makes me look tough" Marinette said while dressing up in her gothic clothing.

"And creepy fabulous" Adrien said.

"Oh yeah," Marinette steps out fully dressed.

"Me-wow," Adrien said.

Marinette made a playful purring at him, "You had to purr for me?" Adrien raised a brow.

"Yup. Let's go, my prince" Marinette said.

Later they were in the city to go shop at the grocery store together than steal from there.

"Alright, some macaroons, some cheese, and some milk" Adrien read from the list.

"We also need meat too. We lost a bit of weight months ago" Marinette said, grabbing steak and chicken breast.

"Yeah and let's not forget for Ladynoir" Adrien picks some canned anchovy.

"There's the cat and dog food aisle. She loves cat food" Marinette said.

"Oh, that too," Adrien said and walks over there.

Marinette followed too with the shopping cart, "Hmmm.... what else we need? Cookies for Tikki" She grabs some package of cookies.

While walking with the cart, she looks around making sure none of their former classmates notices them.

Adrien sees one that he hated to see, the liar, "Mari, you're seeing what I'm seeing?" He whispered.

"Yes but she doesn't know it's us. Let's go now" Marinette whispered.

"Good" Adrien agreed and they went to pay.

After getting the food they need, they head back to the abandoned warehouse, "That was close encountering her" Marinette pulls her wig off.

"Yeah. Memories of her modeling with me was a nightmare" Adrien said and removes the wig and goes to the couch to play Stray the game that plays as the cat.

"Meow" Ladynoir leaps up to the couch, sitting next to her owner.

"You are becoming a cat man," Marinette said as she watched him play the game.

"Thanks, Milady" Adrien made the cat in the game jump over several obstacles.

"I'll make lunch for you, Ladynoir, and me," Marinette said as she goes to the kitchen area.

"Okay. Tonight is my turn to make dinner, milady." Adrien said while playing.

"Ok, then kitty" Marinette winked.

While she made their lunch, Adrien kept playing the game. Ladynoir was too busy licking her paws and fur to clean herself. Plagg grabbed the cheese they bought for him and Tikki took a cookie.

"I know it's too early to talk about that liar but what are you guys gonna do about her? She ruined everything and who knows how long your classmates will become guilty for believing her over you two" Plagg said and swallowed his cheese.

"I just don't know Plagg, using evidence won't matter," Adrien said.

"Not even the school will believe us either" Marinette said while cutting carrots and celery to make a salad.

"Yeah. Thar's true" Adrien said.

"Then how long will your ex-friends finally believe that you two were right all along?" Tikki asked.

"I hope soon enough before they graduate," Marinette said.

"I hope so" Adrien shrugs.

After taking a break from the game, Adrien had lunch with his princess at the table.

"So, any plans after lunch?" Adrien asked.

"No, nothing yet in mind" Marinette replied.

"There's that new Miraculous Super Brawl video game staring us," Marinette said.

"Yep, once again since we're heroes of Paris or more of Anti-heroes since we steal too," Adrien said.

"We never kill though," Marinette said.

"Unless we have to survive in real life," Adrien said and finished his grinder sandwich.

"Yeah, but we haven't killed anyone" Marinette replied.

"Besides, the game would help us beat the real Shadow Moth. If he stops cowering in the shadows like a stupid coward all the time" Adrien said.

"One day he'll fall," Marinette said.

"The reason we haven't won is that he's still hiding. No matter how many times he akumatizes a victim, he fails" Adrien said.

"Soon he has no choice but to fight us personally," Marinette said.

Much later, Ladybug was on the rooftop patrolling. She just wanted to clear her head at the moment too after these two years. Soon she looks down into her family's bakery.

"Oh, maman and papa" Ladybug said in a sad tone.

Eventually, she turned and left the place to not draw their attention. If only they knew she was innocent and that Lila is a monster. Ladybug jumped through the window of the warehouse and transformed back.

"I'm home, Kitty," She said to Adrien.

"You feeling better, milady?" Adrien said and already finished cooking steak with mashed potatoes.

"Much better. In time for dinner" Marinette said.

"Good, I'm starving," Tikki said.

"Me too" Plagg grabs some cheese.

Adrien served his and Marinette's plates, "I know what you're thinking, princess. They surely miss you" Adrien said.

"You guessed correctly, Adrien. I was just checking near my former home" Marinette said.

"You have lucky parents that treat you better. I wish my father can treat me like a son, not some employee for his ridiculous brand company." Adrien said and sat down at the table to eat with her.

"Yeah, nothing in life is one hundred percent perfect. Sooner or later, we will solve it all" Marinette said.

"Yeah. Now let's eat. You'll feel better once we head to bed" Adrien said while eating.

"Adrien, how long has your father distant you? I know you said it's because your mother disappeared but I don't understand why he's.......neglecting you" Marinette wanted to know.

"It's what I wonder too and it's been a very long time, milady. It feels like he's hiding something" Adrien said.

"Oh, kitty," Marinette said.

"But now, I finally feel free, away from that isolated life, no strict rules, and to be with the girl of my dreams" Adrien finished eating.

"Oh yes," Marinette finished too.

"But school is our life too if we wanna get educated. We can't hide forever, Marinette. I know we'll expose Lila for good and get our life back. Whatever my father is hiding, he will have to tell me the truth. Emotional abuse is bad parenting" Adrien said and headed to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

"And we missed out two years on education," Marinette said

"But we did steal school books from the school to learn ourselves," Adrien said while spitting toothpaste in the sink, and so did Marinette too.

"That should make up for it" Marinette smiled at her boyfriend.
