Adrien plays his piano like always, it expresses his feelings through music. His mother taught him that music is like expressing emotions, not about perfection like his father always tells him. Music triggers a person's positive and negative emotions. He sided with his mother when he was a kid because she raised him to be who he is but when she 'disappeared', his father pressured him to be an Agreste without any influence getting in the way. All those modeling, campaign ads, and fashion designs were just what his father wants, not to make his son proud. Marinette sat nearby listening to the music, petting Ladynoir.

"My mom taught me that playing music expresses our emotions. She was right. My father....well....he pressured me to be perfect and whenever I make a mistake, he gets angry. Do real parents do that to kids when they make a simple mistake?" Adrien asked while playing the piano.

"No, real parents shouldn't just yell and punish their kids but rather teach them how to do right," Marinette said.

"That's what I thought. That's another problem, my dad just treats me like I'm some trophy to him. The Gabriel brand has been on top for years. It's like he thinks it's a competition to keep his business going. And being friends with nasty people like Audrey? She's beyond the meanest woman I ever met. And Lila? She's a manipulative liar that he had to choose." He stops playing and sighs angrily, "My father doesn't even think how I feel mentally. Especially that he never shows up in person at school like career day, it broke my heart" Adrien sobs softly, "You and everyone have the best parents except me"

Marinette walks over and hugs her boyfriend, "I'm sorry it had to be that way. But we have each other now" Marinette comforts him, "I don't know if you noticed but your father may think he's protecting you but it's more like he's stopping you from learning to make your own decisions in life. Adrien, life is not on cameras or magazines. It's about taking care of your life as you grow" Marinette said and Ladynoir jumps up on Adrien's shoulder.

"Yes, that's what my father is missing," Adrien said.

"But now, you're a free person, Adrien. Two years later, you became a new Adrien. You're not some royal prince stuck in a castle being told what to do. Everyone has their own freedom in life" Marinette said.

Adrien smiled a little at her, "And you're still my princess" He accepts her hug and nuzzled on her neck.

"My kitty," Marinette said.

"Come, let's paint our nails black like always, bugaboo," Adrien said and puts his cat down.

"Sure kitty" Marinette goes to get the nail polish.

The two sat at the table, using black nail polish on their fingernails, "Does it seem strange for boys to paint their nails?" Marinette asked.

"It's not often we boys do it," Adrien said.

"Not unless they are interested in it," Marinette said.

"Come to think of it, I kinda like wearing goth. Depressing, yes. But it did affect our feelings" Marinette waits for her painted nails to dry.

"But as a way to embrace the new us," Adrien said.

"Yeah" Marinette helped painted his nails.

"Besides, I'm breaking the rules against my father," Adrien said.

"That's great, Kitty," Marinette said.

"But do you still miss your parents?" He asked and waited for his nails to dry.

"Yeah, they probably miss me too. I know it hurts to abandon them but they wanted me to switch schools and I didn't want that" She said.

"You and I love that school. It's where we first met" Adrien said.

"Even though our first time was not the best" Marinette recalled the gum incident.

"Yeah, but you realized I meant no harm" Adrien said.

"Of course" Marinette checks her fingernails.

"Yup all dried up," She said.

"So, wanna go out a while as civilians?" Adrien suggested.

"Sure" Marinette agreed.

Much later, they walked on the streets in their goth attires. Adrien glared at the billboards of his twin cousin impersonating him.

"Hmph, I should leave him a facial scar to make him different" He made a cruel joke.

"Aiden Bastet, we are only doing this to get him back to London," Marinette said.

"Yes, I know, Piáo Chóng" Adrien said.

"And you really don't mean it to literally scar him?" Marinette asked.

"He's the one getting on my nerves when he impersonates me," Adrien said and stops by the store of goth clothes.

"Yeah, Now let's see what they got today," Marinette said.

"I hope they got those new spikey leather jackets," Adrien said.

"Getting wild again?" Marinette giggled as they went inside.

"Yup," Adrien said and he goes to the men's section while his lady goes to the woman's section. He tries out the jacket he picked and checks himself in the mirror, "I've almost forgotten how good I look" He commented to himself.

He then tries on another jacket, this one having a dragon on the backside. Reminds him of his ex Kagami since she was the dragon's miraculous holder.

Marinette picked out a black and red striped long sleeve shirt. She tries it on and looks at herself in the mirror, "Wow, this looks great" She said to herself.

"Best of all, my love" Adrien found fishnet gloves for his lady.

"Purrfect" Marinette tries them on.

"Suits well for a lady like you," Adrien said.

After buying what they need, they head back to their warehouse to feed their cat and kwamis.

"Here you go Ladynoir" Marinette filled their cat's bowl while Adrien feeds the kwamis cheese, cookies, fruit, and macaroons.

"Mmmmm my favorite" Tikki munched a cookie.

Felix has placed a small tiny camera hidden in his uncle's underground chamber so he can spy on what he's up to, "Now all I need is to wait" He ran out of the chamber. He got to his room and waited for his uncle to enter.

"Any minute now" He looks at his watch. The camera records as Gabriel enters the chamber.

Felix smirked that he's got him talking to his 'dead' wife and that he'll find a way to get her back with the power of the ladybug and black cat miraculous. But what he saw next, he couldn't believe his eyes. He saw him transform into Shadow Moth.

"I should have known! He was here the whole time" He thought while checking the camera through his phone.

If he's a supervillain, did that mean Adrien ran away because of his father or something else? Whatever reason, his uncle is beyond insane and a liar to neglect his son.

"Just wait uncle, your regime of terror will soon end," Felix said quietly.

That explains why his uncle is so.....evil than strict, especially forcing Adrien to obey. And even threatening Felix himself. If he needs to get back to London, his uncle has to be exposed in Paris for terrorizing the city. He had to send the video to Cat Noir and Ladybug to find out the truth of Shadow Moth's identity. But he needs more evidence and info before he can warn the heroes.

"Adrien's not gonna like this once he's found," Felix said and watched his uncle using his power on the white butterfly, turning it into a dark purple.

At the warehouse, Adrien was doing some pushups on the floor while Marinette did some situps.

"27.....28....29....30!" Adrien stopped.

"Good job, Kitty" Marinette paused as well.

"Merci," Adrien said and noticed his cat is hissing at something out the window.

"What is it, Ladynoir?" Adrien goes up to the window.

"Meeeoooowwww!!!" Their cat hissed at a swarm of bats.

"A swarm of bats?" Marinette was shocked.

"Look!" Adrien points at the bats that touch a person, the person turns into a vampire. The same goes for the rest of those trying to run from their lives but can't outrun the bats.

"Alright, it's time for some vampire hunt! Tikki spots on!" Marinette transforms into Ladybug.

"Plagg claws out!" Adrien turns into Cat Noir.

They head out of the warehouse and whacked the bats away from touching them. But it was too late for Cat Noir since he shielded his lady and the bat touched him. In a puff, he was now Bat Noir.

"Cat Noir!" Ladybug screamed in horror.

"Agh.....Milady..... go! I can't......stop...." Bat Noir hissed hungrily.

"Cat Noir! Snap out of it!" Ladybug backs away.

"GO! Before I lose my sense of reason!" He yelled.

"Kitty, listen to me! If you want my blood, find the master controlling the bats! Deal?" Ladybug manipulates her corrupted partner.

"I'll.....try!" Bat Noir flies away to find the source behind all this.

Ladybug spins her yo-yo to shield herself from the bats, "I can't hold them off for long!" She ran to get shelter.

"Milady, I found him. How are you holding up?" Bat Noir asked through his baton.

"They are everywhere! Who is the main vampire?!" Ladybug asked.

"It's an actress that got fired and now she's akumatized into Vampiress. Agh! These cravings are driving me crazy. Looks like it's up to me to stop her and cataclysm the Akuma. You need to be untouched in order to use the magic ladybugs to fox up the damage" Bat Noir said, fighting the corruption.

"Okay, Kitty. Be careful!" Ladybug struggled to keep the door shut.

"Hang in there, milady!" Bat Noir said.

It took 10 minutes to save the day and the magic ladybugs to fix the damage and return the victims back to normal, including Cat Noir.

"Pound it!" Both of them fistbumps.
