It was a warm spring night when Bang Chan was sitting on a bench near the Han River, trying to push his negative feelings aside. The sky was as clear as glass and the stars shone bright like diamonds.

At the same time a young man, called Jeongin was walking around the neighbourhood to get some fresh air. He was looking for something, but he didn't know what it was.

Little did both know that their worlds would collide that exact same night. They would become like a black hole formed of two stars that met at the night sky.

Bang Chan PoV:

I went for a walk to get rid of all the weight on my shoulders. It has been rough for me the last days and I just wanted to forget everything. After a while of simply strolling around near the riverside, I silently set down on a bench under the cherry blossoms. I looked up in the sky to enjoy the beautiful view I was given. Everything has been so exhausting, and I just felt like crying when, suddenly, I heard a soft voice speaking to me: "Hey... do you mind if I sit here?"

It was a young man who had fox-like-visuals. He had, as far as I could've noticed, brown hair with some blonde highlights which suited him very well. Therefore, he was wearing a white flowy blouse and a blue pair of shorts. As I was analysing his looks, I realised that he stared at me. 'Cute' I thought to myself. Finally finding my voice again, I responded: "Uhm... yeah of course! Take a seat." Without hesitation he sat down, right next to me.

"So... you like watching the stars?", he asked suddenly. Baffled by his question, I just kept staring at him, trying to realise what he had asked me. "Uh... sorry, what did you say?" He looked at me confused but repeated his question: "I asked, if you like watching the stars? I saw you sitting here all by yourself looking at the sky. So, I was wondering, if you liked the stars..." While asking he didn't dare to look me in the eyes. 'Goddamn how can anyone be that cute?!' And again, I sat there looking at him and admiring the view I had right in front of me.

Jeongin PoV:

'Is he going to answer me or not?' I thought to myself. This man was really one of a kind. He is handsome, has pretty eyes and a mesmerizing smile. But still... he seemed really distracted. Maybe I had a blurred vision but was he staring at me?!   "I-I'm so sorry... I just feel very down lately, so my brain is kind of malfunctioning...", he finally spoke to me, a sad smile on his face, "But I should answer your question I think: Well, I loved looking at the stars since I was a child. The stars have become some sort of friends for me. Whenever I feel lonely, I would go for a walk and just admirer the stars. They must have a lonely life up there, don't they? I mean, being there surrounded by all the other stars but still, they're all alone... I guess I'm watching them because I see myself in them..."

As soon as he finished his monologue, I felt so sorry for him. His life must've been horrible lately. "I'm sorry to hear that..., Uhm... I'm Yang Jeongin by the way", I said awkwardly smiling at him. "Oh... My name is Bang Christopher Chan, but you can call me Chan. It's nice to meet you Jeongin-ah."

Bang Chan PoV:

So, Yang Jeongin was his name. It suits him. An awkward silence crept between us, so I decided to talk to him. He was the only person available in this moment, so why not get to know him a little more? "Jeongin-ah, why did you come here?", I asked. He blushed and looked rather shy. He plucked his blouse. "Well, I was just going for a walk and then I saw you sitting here. You looked... interesting and I wanted to know who you are..." I didn't expect that answer but it somehow made me smile. Distracted by his hand plucking his blouse, I reached out for his hand: "Could you please stop plucking your blouse? It makes me go crazy, haha! Uhm... sorry I didn't mean to sound so harsh. Where was I? Oh! You reached out to me because you thought I was interesting?" Now he was blushing even harder. 'These red cheeks are the cutest thing I've ever seen!'

"Well... yeah", he said. I chuckled at his cuteness. "Why are you laughing?! This not funny! It's embarrassing!" I started laughing even harder: "Thanks to you my day got a lot better hahahaha!" He stared at me with a fond smile.

Jeongin PoV:

His laugh was so addicting! 'I wish I could hear his laugh all day...'. "You know what's funny?", he said. "What is it?". "It feels like I've known you my whole lifetime... I know it has been a few minutes but talking to you about my love towards the stars, somehow made me feel lighter", Chan answered. "Glad to hear that. But as far as I know you right now, I guess your life is not going the way you want it...?", I asked. "You say it... everything is so stressful and I feel so goddamn exhausted... I definitely need a break", Chan answered, running his fingers through his hair. "Oh well, at least my life is not as fucked up as yours!" "YAH! Are you kidding me!? Damn, I never should've told you that", Chan started laughing uncontrollably.

Our funny and chaotic conversation went on for a long while. I completely forgot the world around me. It was just me and Chan. Two men who just met but with a deeper connection than we could've imagined.
As our conversation was going on, I started feeling tired, so I leaned on Chan's shoulder.

Bang Chan PoV:

I suddenly felt something heavy on my shoulder. Jeongin laid his head on my shoulder. "Are you tired, Innie?" "A little...", he yawned. I chuckled: "That doesn't sound like a little to me", I replied. "Why can't we just stay here forever?", he looked up. His face dangerously close to mine. "I-I wish we could..." Our faces were so near, I could feel his breath against my face. I looked him deep in the eyes. His eyes were as beautiful as the stars. They had the whole universe in them. I leaned even more in his direction and tucked a string of hair behind his ear. "Can I kiss you?", I whispered against his lips. "Y-yes". I placed my hand on his cheek and pulled him closer until our lips collided.

Jeongin PoV:

At this moment his lips touched mine. It was an innocent soft kiss, and I poured my whole heart in it. His lips tasted like sweet cherry Chapstick and the cold air of the night. It felt like our lips were meant for one another. After a little while which felt like forever, Chan ended the kiss slowly, but I didn't want it to end. Right after he wanted to let go of me, I pulled him back to me and kissed him again. I wrapped my arms around his neck while he grabbed me by the waist. We were holding each other so tight as if our lives depend on it. When the kiss came to an end and our lips split apart, I looked deep in his chocolate brown eyes. "I guess this is what it feels like when two stars collide."
