Why are we making an OC rater may you ask?

Since I want to kick the daylights out of people making cliche mary sues like their lives depend on it.

Smol rant. I'm copying RainShadow-Arts and I'm not proud of it but her vent about wolf eyes got me thinking.

Can you please just make a realistic-looking cat with a realistic personality and realistic backstory for once with depth??? That isn't just a shallow shiny silver tabby literal cat-turned-disney-princess with a cliche personality sitting in 9409234809238049 love triangles?????

How to tell if your cat's appearance is realistic:

Two words for ya.

gOOgLe it. 

Search it up. Is it possible for not-purebred-cats to have that pelt color or eye color? No? Then sCRAP THAT DUMB AS HONK IDEA AND COME UP WITH ANOTHER ONE. Blue eyes are INCREDIBLY RARE even if they are pretty. And also, yellow, amber, and green eyes can be JUST as pretty. Hazel is beautiful and looks way better than blue, mind you. And that siamese colorpoint or bengal patterned OC you have? Uhhh please ditch them before the entire realistic half of the fandom come over with flamethrowers. Unless they're kittypets. That's okay.

The erins get to have leeway since they're canon though. Still lookin' at you, Firestar.

And personalities. If I see another 'kind and shy around strangers but energetic and bouncy around friends and fierce and brave against enemies' cliche personality I will throw up on your keyboard and smear it on your screen for added effect.

And then the backstories.

99% of the time they have one or even two parents dead. It's, like, uncommon to have an OC with a family which is actually.... aliVE.

If this was so well say goodbye to the entire cat population.

And please no more 'used to be in a forbidden relationship' or that crap. Forbidden relationships seem to be required in every single fanfiction or OC (I'm guilty). Help. Please. No.
