"Good morning, class!"

Bati ni Ms. Valdez, ang teacher nila for MAPEH nang pumasok siya sa classroom ng Section B. May halong kaba at excitement ang mga estudyante dahil Physical Education sila ngayon, at naka P.E uniform din ang lahat.

"Tanginang tuck-in yan Yamagushi. Napakataas! Tube yarn?!" At syempre, we have this one classmate na kapag naka P.E uniform, sobrang taas ng pag ka tuck in ng pants. Halos gawing tube yung pants eh.

Then, meron din na yung mga pa-cool daw. Kahit naka P.E at nasa labas sila, sa trackfield. Naka balot parin ng oversized jacket.

Meron pa, yung ginagawang tight at crop top yung P.E shirt. Para at least fashionable daw tignan.

Then, yung mga hinahayaan lang na maging oversized ang P.E shirt nila. Yung iba, pinasadya na sando o tank top para kita raw biceps at muscles, and obviously, isa na rito ang F5.

"Uyyy! Si Retsam Ran naka sando o! 'Apaka astig talaga boi!" Sigaw ng mga lalaki. As usual, Ran always being so extra. Suot din niya ang kanyang hairband bandana sa ulo.

"WOOOH! Pa turo nga niyan Lods Ran." Sigaw naman ni Makoto nang nag fist bump ang dalawa... parang hindi nagkabanggaan noong first day ng face-to-face ah.

Habang sa isang sulok ng classroom, ikaw naman ay namomroblema dahil sa grades mo sa MAPEH. Halos buong gabi ka nag review at practice ng sports at sayaw, aaminin mo, nag mukha kang tanga sa harap ng salamin kagabi.

One more thing... kaka galing mo lang sa sakit, at mag P-P.E na agad? You didn't even get a proper rest, you just hoped that nothing will go wrong later.

"Hi, (Y/N)! Do you want us to style your hair?" Nakarinig ka naman ng boses sa gilid mo, at lumapit sina Yuzuha, Yumi, Akane, at Hakkai sayo.

"Ayusan ka namin!" They said nang umupo sila sa gilid mo na akala mo pinapalibutan ka. May dala rin silang suklay, perfume, make up, at lahat na.

"Ok."

Si Yumi ay naka pigtails, si Yuzuha ay naka bun ang buhok. Naka braid naman ang buhok ni Akane, and si Hakkai... kunwari raw nagtatali ng buhok kahit kalbo.

"Ikaw naman (Y/N)... high ponytail with two strands in front! Parang curtain bangs!" The girls squealed as they ruffle your hair.

"Ouch! Aray! Ow! Ow! Ow!" Sigaw mo habang inaayos nila buhok mo, parang mga sampung kamay ang humihila sa buhok mo. Mukhang maka kalbo ka na rin ata eh.

"Pst, Ran. Tignan mo si (Y/N)." Bulong ng mga barkada ni Ran sa kaniya. Ang mga lalaki ay nakasandal lang sa railings ng hallway sa labas ng classroom na nagk-kuwentuhan habang hinihintay ang teacher. Ito rin ang mga palaging tambay sa hallway at hagdanan.

"Aray! Ako na mag aayos sa buhok ko! Ow! Ow!" Sabi mo naman habang kinuha ang brush at hair tie sa kanila.

"What—?" Napatingin si Ran sa direction mo dahil sa sinabi ng mga kaibigan niya, at nanlaki ang mga mata nito. You were tying your hair up in a ponytail as hair strands fell gently on your cheeks with the wind blowing.

Napangiti si Ran, pero pinigilan ito nang maalala na nasa harap pala siya ng mga kaibigan niya. Baka raw mawala kaastigan.

"(Y/N)!" Nakikipag kuwentuhan lang sayo sina Akane, at tinawag ka nila, kaya't tumayo ka na rin sa upuan mo at lumabas ng classroom.

Nang hindi napansin ni (Y/N), ay naka sandal lang si Ran sa railings ng balcony sa hallway, at hindi mo ito napansin na nakatitig sayo, until you looked at each other at nag eye contact. Napahinto naman sa takbo si (Y/N) dahil doon.

"(Y/N)! BEHHH!" Sigaw sayo nina Hakkai at Akane sa hagdan as they looked back at you, "Bilisan mo! May pandesal sa baba! AHHH!"

"O-oh," You shook your head as you blinked back to reality, at agad mo naman tinanggal ang tingin mo kay Ran at tumakbo na rin paalis.

Ran just froze in his place with widened eyes and blush on his cheeks habang naka sandal sa railings. Hindi niya rin nahalata na pinagaasaran at tawanan na rin siya ng mga barkada niya.

"Huy! Bro! Tulala o!" Sigaw ng F5 as he nudged him lightly.

"H-ha?" Napailing si Ran at doon na realize ang nangyari, "What the fuck? Tara na nga." Inis na sabi nito at bumaba na rin sa hagdan.

"Twenty-five minutes before our P.E. class starts!"

Sigaw ni Ms. Valdez sa labas ng mismong campus ng school. Ang Section B ay nasa track and grass field para sa P.E subject nila.

"So, today for our P.E! We will run and race— not in the track field... but through this large grass field! There are some obstacles and small mazes that you need to pass through! Then, I, along with the other teachers will meet the first runner up in the finish line! Don't you worry because this is a big grade for your P.E subject!"

"YESSS-!" Sigaw ng mga classmates mo at nag handa na rin sila.

"And class... choose your partners!"

"Fuck." Your smile faded, you hate partners and groupings, but you have no choice, so naglakad ka papunta kina Hakkai.

"A-ay... hala, beh! Sorry! Partner ko na si Akane!" Iyak ni Hakkai, "Sorry talaga (Y/N)! Subukan mong tanungin sina ate!"

"Yeah, it's fine." You just nodded and walked to Yuzuha, but—

Yumi and Yuzuha, "Oh my! We're really sorry, (Y/N)! Mag partner na kami! Sorry, huhu!"

"O? Ran and (Y/N)? Where are your partners?" Tanong ni Ms. Valdez, at napatingin naman ang lahat sainyong dalawa.

"No one wants to partner up with me." Rason ni Ran kahit halos lahat ng Section B ay gusto siyang kapartner. Nag kunwari raw na walang mahanap na partner dahil...

"I can't find a partner." Sagot ni (Y/N).

"Well, okay. Ran and (Y/N), kayo nalang mag partner!"

"YIEEEEE!" Sigaw ng Section B, at halos marindi ang tainga mo.

Nanlaki ang mga mata mo, "I mean, magaling naman si Ran sa P.E, so maybe my grades would be a bit higher this time..."

"Yo." Ran called you from your side, and you looked up to see Ran handing his hand out as a handshake, "Ano, payag ka to be my partner?"

"No choice eh, k." Agad mong sabi at nakipag shake hands sakaniya, then immediately walked out.

Si Ran ay napailing at tawa nalang habang tinignan kang tumakbo paalis, "Whatever."

Nakalipas ang ilang minuto, at halos mainip ka na rin kaka hintay na mag simula ang P.E.

Kaya't napunta ka rito sa isang tree house ng school sa grass field, mataas taas din ito kaya malawak ang view sa buong campus, grass field, track field, at iba pa. Kitang-kita mo rin ang masinag na sunset, talagang maganda ang view sa tuktok.

From this view, nakita mo si Ran na nakikipag habulan at tawanan sa mga barkada niya at F5. Aaminin mo, may pagka inggit ka rin sakanya dahil sobrang laki ng circle of friends niya, halos friend group may kaibigan eh. Napaisip ka tuloy... "No one wants to partner up with him?! How is that possible, sa dinami dami niyang kaibigan?!"

"Whatever..." You just huffed at umupo sa loob ng treehouse. Sa inip, naka hanap ka rin ng mga papel for origamis sa cabinets.

Naisipan mo na gumawa ng eroplanong papel.

"Fold... flip?" You thought while trying to remember the steps in making one.

After some few minutes...

"Done..." But mukhang U.F.O yata nagawa mo instead of a paper airplane dahil hindi ka na marunong gumawa, "Haha... what the fuck is this."

But whatever, sinubukan mo itong ipalipad sa labas ng bintana, and to your surprise, it worked!

Sa baba naman ng treehouse, kung saan ang grass field, ay nagulat si Ran habang nakikipag habulan dahil may tumama na papel sa ulo niya.

"Huh? What's this?" Napahinto si Ran at pinulot ang eroplanong papel, inunfold niya ito at may nakasulat sa loob.

Kung sinong nakapulot nito, pangit!

Napaawang naman ang bibig ni Ran at nanlaki ang mga mata, "Excuse me?! No one, not even a one in a million chance that I've been called ugly! Pogi pogi ko kaya, sus."

Ran was about to rip off the paper until he caught a glimpse of a treehouse at a distance... then he saw you sitting there while doing something.

"I see, no one has ever called me ugly," Ran chuckled as he kept the paper, "Except for this one girl."

"Fold... flip... hayst! I can never make a perfect paper airplane." Meanwhile, inside the treehouse, you're still struggling to make the most perfect paper airplane ever! Kahit simple lang itong gawin, gusto mo parin maging perfect.

"Fold... flip— Huh?!" Then, napahinto ka naman nang nakarinig ka ng footsteps sa hagdan treehouse.

"Sino yan?!" Agad ka naman tumayo at inabangan ang papasok. Akala mo tuloy ay secret place talaga ito, looks like someone ruined it for you.

"Hello—?" Bumukas ang pinto at bumungad si Ran... pero naunahan ka ng impulse mo at sinampal mo siya!

"Aray!" Ran stumbled back as he gripped his cheeks, "What was that for?!"

"Oh," You stopped for a moment, but then just brushed off some dust on your shirt, "I thought it was an intruder, sorry." Nag sungit ka at bumalik sa pwesto mo sa tree house.

"Do I look like an intruder to you?! Wow!" Ran followed you inside the treehouse.

"What if I say yes? Ano, magagalit ka?" Tinaasan mo ito ng kilay at bumalik sa pag gagawa mo ng paper airplane.

"Ano yan— Pffft!" Hindi na mapigilan ni Ran ang tawa niya, "Paper airplane?! Ano ka, bata?! HAHAHAHA!"

"Ahh bata (Y/N), aso, bata, grade one— ARAY—!" Hindi na natuloy ang sinabi ni Ran nang binatuhan mo siya ng paper airplane sa mukha.

"O, pambata diba? Masakit ba yung dulo ng airplane? Nag landing kasi sa noo mo eh." You smiled sarcastically.

"Hey! How dare you!" Ran clutched his forehead as he rubbed the pain from the paper airplane na binato mo.

"Oh—" Ran removed his fingers from his forehead, pero napansin niya na there's blood smudged on his index finger, "I got a paper cut from the edge of that paper airplane!"

"What?" You stood up as you walked to Ran, "Patingin nga."

"Wag na." Nag sungit ito at pumunta nalang sa pwesto mo kung saan ka gumagawa ng paper airplane.

"Akin na nga! I'll put a bandage! Kung ayaw mo edi don't!" Nag sungit ka rin at bumalik sa pwesto mo sa wooden floor, but Ran is there!

"Hoy! Bakit mo inagaw pwesto ko! Ako yung nauna riyan eh! Hey! Get out!" You shouted.

"Hey—!" Pero napahinto ka as you saw Ran also folding some paper airplanes... and ang perfect pa nito! Just exactly how you wanted!

"Pft, who makes ugly, wonky paper airplanes these days," Ran snorted, "Of course, a girl named (Y/N)."

"Motherfucker, excuse me?" You rolled your eyes as you snatched the origami papers from his hands and sat beside him on the floor, "I'm trying, K?"

"I'll help you nga, don't you want a perfect paper airplane?" He asked, at kinuha ulit ang mga papel sa kamay mo.

"Fucking bullsh— fine." You just gave up and watched him do it.

"Look closely." He said then flicked your forehead.

"Ouch!" Napahawak ka naman sa noo mo.

"What? Sinugatan mo nga noo ko eh," Ran rolled his eyes, "Dumugo pa."

"Anyway, watch this so that you'll know the proper steps," Ran told while folding the origami papers, "So first, fold it horizontally, make sure you measure the center part of the paper. Sunod, you take both of the two upper side corners sa papel, then fold it..." Tuloy niya lang ang pagsasabi sayo, at nakikinig ka naman.

"See? Because when you're not doing the process properly in making a paper airplane, then the destination of this paper airplane that would land on will be bad."

"What's that? Kasabihan? Wow, I never knew that a person like you would believe in such superstitions." Napatawa ka naman.

"Oo, pag galing sayo." He thought in his mind while folding the paper.

"Yeah, I don't in believe those." He scoffed.

"Oh, well. I do believe in one, actually," You said, "Do you know this one superstition about strawberries?"

"No, ano yun?" Ran listened.

"I'm just telling ha, baka mag assume ka," You cleared your throat, "Kinuwento lang 'to ni lola sa akin, nakornihan ako until she said na it became true and it really happened to her."

Ran faced you, "Mhm, I see. Just continue, I'm listening while making this paper airplane."

"U-uh, okay. Sige." You scratched your nape.

"Alam mo, when I was still a child, every time before I sleep. Lola always tells me stories, especially about strawberries, yung mga kasabihan tungkol doon. To be honest, I find it weird before because she's just randomly telling me superstitions about strawberries... origins, history? Ewan, basta various information about this one special fruit."

"But this one superstition about strawberries na kinwento sa akin ni lola piqued my interest. Hindi maalis sa isip ko kahit hanggang ngayon, and even tho' I find it corny at cliché."

"Do you know those double strawberries?" You asked, at tumango si Ran.

"Sabi raw ni lola, kapag daw hinati mo yung dobleng strawberry na yun, at kung kanino mo ibibigay yung other half... that person will be your soulmate."

Ran's ears perked at napatingin siya sayo, "Do you believe in it?"

"I didn't at first... until lola told me that it happened to her kay lolo, so I had hope," You shrugged, "So yeah, I believe it. Funny."

"Strawberry is really your favorite fruit, I see." Ran nodded.

"Yes! I do like strawberries! They're my favorite! Ang ganda rin kasi ng color red! Especially when it's vibrant and crimson," Laking ngiti mo, "Kaya minsan, sinasabi sa akin na pinaglihi raw ako sa strawberries? HAHAHA!"

Hindi rin alam ni Ran bakit bigla nalang siyang napapangiti habang nakikinig sa mga kwento mo, nakatitig lang siya sayo habang nakatutok ang sinag ng araw sa mukha mo. He observed how you're genuinely smiling and laughing while telling him stories... and this is a rare situation, he's glad that he was the person who see this side of yours.

"Actually, may sasabihin ako sayo, (Y/N)." Ran cleared his throat.

"What?"

"Hindi mo ba napapansin, na kapag nagk-kuwentuhan tayo, nawawala pag ka tahimik mo? The way you talk sounds like you know for me years, you sound comfortable telling me your childhood stories."

"Huh?" Your eyes widened as you faced him, then denied, "W-well kasi— well kasi you're initiating a conversation, so of course sumasagot ako! Hindi naman ah, a-and kung ayaw mo na marami akong kinekwento edi wag—"

"No—" Ran faced you and smiled, "Keep telling stories, I'm willing to listen anytime. I love this side of yours."

You didn't know why, but a red hue, like the color of strawberries, starts to fade in your cheeks... a blush as you stared at him.

"A-ah, haha..." You retracted your gaze away at tumango ka lang, "Yeah."

"Anyway, here," Sabi ni Ran at binigay sayo ang eroplanong papel na ginawa niya, "It's done."

Your jaw fell in awe as you looked at the perfect, sharp paper airplane, "Wow! Let me see, gagawa rin ako!"

"Go on, just follow the steps I did." Ran told as he got you another origami paper.

Habang ginagawa mo ang eroplanong papel, the words that Ran said kept on repeating in your head, and after some few seconds, you easily did it.

"I'll try to make it fly, wait." You stood up from the floor at humarap sa bintana ng treehouse kung saan masisilayan mo ang malawak at maganda na view ng buong school at sunset.

Sumunod na rin si Ran sayo at tumingin din sa view, what a beautiful scenery.

"The view up here is really beautiful." Ngiti mo habang tinututok mo ang eroplanong papel sa sinag ng araw.

Ran's gaze shifted at you, and he stared for a minute, "Yeah, beautiful." Parang bigla nalang lumabas sa bibig niya ang mga salitang iyon, anong tanawin nga ba ang kanyang tinutukoy?

"Class! Our P.E is starting in three minutes! Please go to your designated lines and meet up with your partners!" Narinig niyo naman ni Ran ang whistle ni Ms. Valdez sa baba.

"Baka ma-late pa tayo, but before we go, I'll just give something. You know? As much as I hate you sometimes..." You huffed as you faced him, pero kinuha mo muna ang ballpen sa bulsa mo. Napatingin naman si Ran sayo, all confused. You just placed the paper on your palm as you wrote your signature on the paper airplane.

"Sayo na 'to," Binigay mo sakaniya ang paper airplane na gawa mo, "Treat this as my gift for taking care of me when I was sick and teaching me kung paano gumawa ng perpektong eroplanong papel."

Ran froze for a moment, but then he received the paper airplane, all clueless and still processing what was happening.

"It's just a small paper gift, nothing else. I hope you'll value it kahit simple lang." You told, at lumabas na ng tree house para bumalik sa grass field sa baba.

But even so, Ran was already contented. It was enough for him, basta galing sayo, and the genuine smile on his face says a lot.

"Please go to your partners and stand in your designated lines!"

Sigaw ni Ms. Valdez sa megaphone habang inaannounce ang mga gagawin for this P.E class. Lahat ay handa na at katabi ang mga partner, may mga props din sila na hawak for this marathon-like game with obstacles.

"So, first of all, in each partner, pick one person to use these light sticks for our first obstacle." Dagdag nito while taking out each light sticks out of the box and distributes it.

"Haha... lightsaber daw beh, akin na yan." Bulong ni Hakkai kay Akane.

"Itigil mo Hakkai ayusin mo pag tayo natalo baka literal na lightsaber ipasok ko sa baga mo shuta ka." Angal ni Akane nang binatukan pa si Hakkai.

"Oo nga! Ako na kukuha ng lightsa— light stick! Teka, ano ba gagawin natin dito? Ihahampas?" Pinalo pa ni Hakkai sa ulo si Akane, testing daw.

"So, sino sa atin?" Ran asked you.

"I don't know."

"Ako nalang hahawak ng light stick, I can run faster anyway." He laughed sarcastically at you.

"Didn't ask but okay." You rolled your eyes.

"I mean, duh. Oo nga, 'didn't ask'" Ran rolled his eyes too, clearly mocking you.

Yup, mabilis din talaga ang mood swings ng dalawa. Parang kanina lang si treehouse... then ngayon.

"What if ako nalang hahawak ng lightstick." Pilit na ngiti mo nang kumuha ng isa sa box.

"Why—?" Ran faced you, but he was cut off nang pinalo mo siya sa mukha gamit ang lightstick.

"Ouch!" Napahawak si Ran sa mukha niya, "Nakaka ilan ka na ah? Kanina lang binatuhan mo ako ng papel sa noo."

"Edi sorry, okay na?" Kunwaring sabi mo.

"Sorry is not enough, I need a ki—" Pero hindi ulit ito natuloy nang hinampas mo ulit siya sa mukha.

"A kiss from the light stick must be nice." You smiled then rolled your eyes at him as you went to the white line sa dulo.

Naka pwesto na rin si Ran, and from the distance, magka tapat kayo since partners nga. Napansin mo na naka middle finger si Ran sayo, kaya pinakyuhan mo rin ito habang walang nakatingin na teachers.

"I need a volunteer to show the demonstration!" Ms. Valdez called, "Mr. Hakkai Shiba and Ms. Akane Inui, please come in front!"

"Hala beh." Nagsampalan at bulungan muna ang dalawa bago naglakad sa harap ng klase.

"Who among you two will hold the light stick?" The teacher asked.

"Me!" Hakkai shouted nang tinaas ang light stick at may pa pose pa.

"Okay, stand in that line." Sunod na utos nito, at sa start ng track field, may isang mahabang white line where the starters would stand.

"Akane, stand in that line. Kita mo yung sa pinaka dulo roon? So, kapag andoon ka na, you will wait for Hakkai to run to you and pass you the light stick, and that gives you the green light to proceed to the second obstacle with your partner."

"Yes po!" Section B followed as they readied their stance at naka pwesto na rin ang lahat.

"When I blow my whistle, you'll start!"

As soon as the whistle blew, the students in the first line who were also the ones holding the light stick started running towards the second line, where their partners are standing and waiting for them to pass the light stick.

As usual, si Ran Haitani, the always first in MAPEH ang nauna at agad na nabigay sayo ang light stick.

"Here, hurry up and run to the second obstacle. I'll meet you there." Ran hurriedly said.

A little panic starts to emerge as you feel a pang of pain in your head, and you know it's from the fever you had, which until now still leaves remnants from it such as headaches, nausea feeling, etc.

You just decided to ignore it and continued to run to the second obstacle. Dumagdag din ang mainit na araw sa sakit ng ulo mo, "Fuck, what if I faint."

Napansin mo na nauna na ang mga ibang kaklase mo sa part na ito, kaya agad ka naman nag madali.

"Hindi ako na inform may humahabol pala sayo sa loob! AHHHH!" Sigaw nina Makoto at iba pang estudyante, at nanlaki ang mga mata mo... what?!

"May humahabol daw sayo sa loob ng maze, kailangan mo maghanap ng keys para mabuksan yung pintuan mo! Tapos yung ano— yung AHHHH! Tangina masuntok ko pa yan eh!" Sigaw nina Shinichiro.

"T-teka, nasaan yung mga partners natin?" Sunod mo na tanong.

"Nagka separate ways ang mga partners, and kailangan natin pumasok sa maze para roon daw magm-meet." Explain sayo ni Yumi.

Lumingon ka at nakita ang iba na naka hanap na ng keys at partner nila... tulad nina Wakasa at Inui... bakit ang chill lang nila kahit may isang higante na humahabol?!

"Haha... Pres Izana... kalma lang." Nerbyos na tawa ni Naoto na partner si Izana, halatang bad trip ito dahil pinagtripan nung higanteng monster na humahabol, maliit daw.

"Porket matangkad yun, ha?!" Sigaw ni Izana nang sumugod sa loob ng maze, at inawat naman ito ni Naoto, baka raw makipagsuntukan sa tao na nasa loob ng costume.

Your time is running out, at kailangan mo nang hanapin si Ran sa loob ng maze, kaya't pumasok ka na rin.

After some few seconds, the place is kind of quiet at naghahanap ka lang ng directions sa maze, so far, wala kang nakitang higante na humahabol...

"RAWRRR!" Sa likod mo!

"AHHH!" Nagulat ka naman at tumakbo, "Kamukha ni Ran yung monster!"

"What?!" Sa other side ng grass wall ng maze, narinig ni Ran na his name was mentioned by a familiar voice.

Hindi mo rin alam kung saan saan ka pumupunta since hindi mo alam direction at patuloy ka lang na tumatakbo at hinahabol ka parin.

"AHHH—!" Lumiko ka at tumakbo, pero napahinto nang nabangga ka sa chest ng isang tao. As usual, matigas nanaman ito at halos mabukulan ang noo mo.

Yup, kilala mo na kung sino ito, sa dibdib palang, "Ran"

"Yo, keep your eyes out. Kung saan ka tuloy nababangga." Ran leaned down at your level as he blew your forehead.

"Yeah, always in that chest of yours that's like The Great Wall of China." You retorted as you walked away.

"Watch out." Ran told as he pulled you by your wrist and hid from the monster that was chasing you.

"Is it safe to get out? We just need to find the keys." You whispered.

"Yeah." Ran told at umalis na rin kayo sa pinagtataguan niyo.

"By the way, the monster reminds me of you." You snorted while running through the maze with him.

"Iwanan kita rito eh." Sagot ni Ran.

"Joke lang." Agad na sagot mo, ayaw mo rin naman mahabol sa mala higante na yun! Nakakatakot kasi yung mukha akala mo gorilla na may halong asong breed...? hindi ko alam basta ganon

But then, may tumalon na monster sa harap ninyong dalawa para takutin kayo, but (Y/N) and Ran only had a boring stoic expression on their faces, "Ano? Matatakot na ba ako niyan?" Ran mumbled.

"Parang hindi ka natakot noon sa shower room ah, ano ulit yon? Yung akala mo white lady si Baji, yung kinwento sa akin ni Sanzu! HAHAHA!" Lakas na tawa mo nang inaasar si Ran.

"Ah okay, sabi ko na nga ba, iiwanan kita rito," Ran smirked as he runs off at iniwan ka sa monster, "Bye!"

"HOY! RANNNN! BWISET KAAAAA! TANGINA MOOO!" Lakas na sigaw mo nang sinundan siya at tumakbo ka nang napaka bilis.

Another game of habulan!

Patuloy ka lang na tumatakbo kung saan siya papunta, and you're almost losing track of him and nawawala na rin siya sa paningin mo! Hindi mo rin alam kung paano makalabas sa maze na ito... "Is this Ran fucking Haitani really my partner?!"

You looked back to see that the giant monster is starting to loom over you as it chases you, and your heart almost leaped out of your chest from the scary view.

Then, may nakita kang gate, and you immediately walked to it, the exit!

Your hands met with the metal gate as you push it... but it's locked.

You see Ran on the other side of the gate, having a cocky smirk on his face as he dangles the key on his fingers in front of you between the bars of the gate, halatang pinapakita sayo na nilock niya.

"Open this door right now!" Sigaw mo as you try to push it.

"Ran! I said open this! Can't you hear me?!"

"Hoy! Putangina mo!"

"RAWRRR!" You heard a growl from the distance, and you know it was the monster!

"Open this door! Hoy! Ran! Let me in! Hurry the fuck up!" You shouted as you push and pull the metal gate.

"Hmm?" Ran pretended to think for a while, "Should I?"

"Isn't it obvious?!" You rolled your eyes, "I said open it!"

"Say 'Sorry please Master Ran Haitani, I won't do it ever again. You're the most handsome person I've ever met, and I'll now obey whatever you command me'." Ran said.

Your eyes widened, "What?! No fucking way! Ulol! I won't say that kahit kailan!"

"Aight, then I guess no keys for you and let the monster eat you," Ran shrugged, "Bahala ka, your grades in MAPEH would be low, how would you beat me then?"

"Bwiset ka! I hate you!" Sigaw mo habang huminga nang malalim... "Fine then."

"I'm listening, go on." Ran held back his laugh.

"S-sorry... p-plea—" Nauutal ka naman, "M-master Ra— ew! Yuck! Ew! Just open this door!"

Ran just yawned from the other side of the door while watching you try, all amused.

"RAWRRR!" The monster is getting close!

"Putangina mo! Sorry please Master Ran Haitani, I won't do it ever again. You're the most handsome person I've ever met, and I'll now obey whatever you command me! O yan, okay na?!"

"Yan, good." Tawa ni Ran at binuksan ang pintuan, at saktong papalapit na ang monster sayo kaya't agad ka naman hinila ni Ran at tumakbo na kayo.

"Aray!" At saktong nauntog pa ang monster sa gate at tinanggal ang costume, "Mga bata talaga ngayon, maka jowa eh. Dinamay pa tuloy ulo ko, ang sakit!"

After some few seconds, nakarating na rin kayo sa exit ng maze, and now you two are in the third obstacle.

"Bwisit ka! Ayan tuloy! Naunahan na tayo ng iba!" Sigaw mo kay Ran.

"Pfft! You're worrying too much, kaya ko silang unahan noh." Sagot naman nito.

"Eh paano naman ako?! O ano, iiwanan mo ako? Tapos ikaw ang mauuna tapos matatalo ako?!"

"You forgot? We're partners, dumbass." Ran flicked your forehead.

"Ouch! I mean, duh? I'm starting to forget that you're my partner because you're acting like a jerk a while ago." You rolled your eyes at tumakbo na rin papuntang third obstacle, leaving Ran.

"And, hindi kita iiwan, noh." Bulong ni Ran.

"Ano?"

"Wala."

"O? Ano nanaman gagawin dito?" Ran asked nang naka punta na rin sa third obstacle.

"Stack the cups with staring contest daw! Tapos kung sinong unang partner ang nanalo, paunahan daw mag race papuntang 4th or last obstacle! At kung sino raw natalo sa stacking cups, ay bubuhusan ng tubig!" Sigaw ng mga iba niyong kaklase.

"What?!" (Y/N) and Ran said in unison.

Yung iba sa Section B ay kinikilig kasi raw makaka staring contest sila ng crush nila, which is partner na rin.

Yung iba hindi makapigil ng tawa dahil ang pangit daw ng partner, sabi nila.

Tapos meron din yung galit na galit kasi ang kapartner ay bobo raw mag stack ng cups, kung titigan mo akala mo may balak kang patayin eh.

Yung iba desperado na manalo para raw mabuhusan ng tubig partner nila, may magkaaway eh.

Anyway, (Y/N) and Ran went to the table where they will stack the cups.

"Alam mo, let's just start bago pa tayo maunahan ulit." Utos mo kay Ran nang binigay sakanya ang ibang cups.

But, before you did so, napatingin ka muna sa mga iba mong classmates. They're easily doing the staring contest with their partners at naiistack yung cups! How is that possible, I mean, maybe because your partner is Ran.

"Pst, sa akin lang yung tingin. Huwag sa iba." Ran told.

"1...!" But what you forgot is that you'll focus on him...

"2...!" on Ran...

"3...!" ...which is the game.

A staring contest!

You stared at Ran as you widened your eyes, yup, hindi talaga 'to madali!

"Let's not do the staring contest anymore, Ran," You averted your gaze away, "Wala naman teacher eh, how would they know?"

"May nagmomonitor na teacher." Bulong naman nina Akane sainyo, at napatingin ka sa gilid mo.

"Kung mamalasin ba naman." Pilit na ngiti mo, 99% galit 1% ngiti

"Hay nako, titigan ko pa 'tong si Hakkai, paano kami mananalo eh nagpapatawa si gaga." Dagdag pa nito.

"F-fine." You looked at Ran's eyes para simulan na, your hands wandered around the table to find the first cup.

You removed your stare away from Ran to look at the cups... but.

"You see, we lost again," Ran told, "Ang kulit mo talaga. Sabi nga, just hold the stare while stacking the cups."

"Oo na nga! Eto na, uulitin na nga! Hayst." You huffed as you stared at him again and started to stack the cups.

While stacking the cups, you and Ran are only staring at each other. To be honest, this was hard to do because you're staring at your partner while stacking the cups! You can't even look down at the table to check.

Though you have to win... para magawa mo yung bubuhusan siya ng tubig pag nanalo, makakaganti ka rin.

Well, Ran is holding back his smile and laugh, and nahahalata mo ito.

"Anong nakakatawa?" Nagtaas ka naman ng kilay.

"Wala."

You just continued staring at him, and this shit is so awkward! Your heart is also rapidly racing, but you knew that this is because of nervousness, at least that's what you thought.

"Hey, don't get too intimidated by me," Ran whispered while deepening his stare at you as he leaned forward, "I know."

"Ew? As if." You rolled your eyes.

"Ayan nanaman si Ms. Sungit with her eye roll." Ran also did the same, mocking you.

"Shut up."

After some few minutes, nararamdaman mo na nauunahan ka na ni Ran.

"Don't tell me ako yung mabubuhusan ng tubig." You thought, at binilisan mo naman ang pagstack.

Binilisan mo ang pagkuha while still holding the eye contact.

"Looks like I'm winning." Ran grinned.

"No." You smiled at him, and Ran's eyes widened.

At dahil dito, Ran failed to stack the last cup at agad mo itong kinuha. Natanggal din ang pagka stare niya sayo, making him lose.

"HAHAHAHA! See! Talo!" Tawa mo nang malakas at kinuha mo ang cup na may tubig.

And there, you splashed water on Ran's face, making him soak.

"O ano! May nalalaman ka pang master master diyan ah, bleh." You said na may kasamang mapang asar na dila, and before Ran can even speak, agad kang tumakbo at tumakas!

Another habulan for these two!

"(Y/N)! Bumalik ka rito! Hoy!" Tumakbo si Ran pagtapos niya mag punas.

"Ang sabi, buhusan nang onting tubig. Ikaw halos isang galon ibuhos mo sa'kin eh!" Sigaw nito habang hinahabol ka.

Finally, you reached the final obstacle.

Before you proceed, nakaramdam ka ng biglang sakit sa ulo. You regret ignoring your headache the whole time, it's really getting worse.

"Hello, class! So, you've finally reached the final obstacle!" Ms. Valdez shouted, and everyone looked at her.

You heard footsteps approaching you, and you looked back to see Ran on the last obstacle as well. Napatingin ka naman sakanya at inirapan ito, "Bagal tumakbo." You joked.

"Shut up." Ran told.

"Listen, class! For this last stage... hindi na kayo magt-team up ng partners niyo. Instead, everyone will race by themselves up to the finish line, and the teamwork that you all did from the previous obstacles is just be your additional points!"

"Huh?!" Section B looked at each other from the announcement.

"Yes! But before that, you will make a paper airplane and fly it to that white line in order to pass to the finish line!" The teacher said.

Your heart quickly beats ... "Paper airplane?"

"Okay, class. Mag hiwalay na kayo ng mga partners niyo and go to your lines."

"Just remember the steps I thought you in the treehouse," Ran pats your head as he walked off, "Good luck."

You just stared at him as he walks off, and your heart continued to beat, but you quickly brushed it off and walked to your line as well.

"So without further ado, start!" The teacher blew her whistle, and everyone started.

Agad mong kinuha ang papel at folded it, and the only thing that is in your mind is Ran's voice while telling you the steps in making one.

"Tanginang paper airplane 'to, U.F.O yata tong ginawa ko eh." Sabi ni Makoto.

"Haha... papuntang bahay ni Satanas yung eroplano ko ah." Dagdag ni Yamagushi.

"Sus! Napaka basic lang nito gawin noh." Irap ni Peh.

Meanwhile, you continued folding the paper. You just realized too na ang papel dito ay magkaparehas sa mga papel doon sa tree house.

At patuloy mo lang na inaalala ang mga steps ni Ran.

"Anyway, watch this so that you'll know the proper steps," Ran told while folding the origami papers, "So first, fold it horizontally, make sure you measure the center part of the paper. Sunod, you take both of the two upper side corners sa papel, then fold it..." Tuloy niya lang ang pagsasabi sayo, at nakikinig ka naman.

Then... one more fold and you're almost done.

"See? Because when you're not doing the process properly in making a paper airplane, then the destination of this paper airplane that would land on will be bad."

"As if Ran believes in those superstitions, after all, a boy like him?" You laughed.

"What's that? Kasabihan? Wow, I never knew that a person like you would believe in such superstitions." Napatawa ka naman.

"He doesn't believe in it." You said.

But (Y/N) didn't know Ran's thoughts a while ago.

"Oo, pag galing sayo." He thought in his mind while folding the paper.

And so on, you're finally done with your paper airplane.

Tumayo ka from the grass and stood at the start line of the last obstacle, you raised the paper airplane in the air and pointed it at the line from a far distance.

At doon, you threw it. Lumipad sa ere ang eroplanong papel, and it reached the line.

"A good destination, huh?" You chuckled, and tumakbo ka na to the finish line!

Everyone also started to run as soon as their paper airplanes successfully landed.

What (Y/N) and Ran didn't know, is that their airplanes landed together, at magkatabi pa ito.

"Hoyyy! Bwisit! Yung dede ko umaalog na kakatakbo!" Sigaw ni Hakkai habang tumatakbo sa track field.

"Ang init ng araw putangina!" Sigaw naman ni Akane na hinihingal din habang tumatakbo.

"AHHHHH!" Patuloy lang na sumisigaw sina Makoto at Yamagushi na akala mo si The Flash kung makatakbo, "RAWRAWRARAWR!"

"Hoy! Inunahan ako ni Baltazar! PUTANGINA MOOO!" Sigaw ni Izana nang binatuhan nang sapatos si Benkei sa likod ng ulo, "MMM SAPUL!"

"Ako mauuna ako mauuna ako mauuna mga bobo!" Namakyu naman si Shinichiro.

"HUFF HUFF HUFF! Awooga booga oompa loompa!" Sigaw ni Sanzu, hindi ko rin alam kung anong language yan pero sige.

"Mapuputol na yung paa ko kakatakbo!" Sigaw ni Rindou, "Edi sana ol biniyayaan ng dugo ng pagiging athlete tulad ni kuya, puta ampon ba ako?!"

"Edi tanungin mo sa mama mo 'ma, virgin ka ba'?" Sagot ni Sanzu.

"Ran Haitani is in the lead!" Sigaw ng mga nag aannounce at teachers, sobrang bilis din nito tumakbo kaya't siya ang nangunguna.

"Shit." Patuloy ka lang na tumatakbo, at nararamdaman mo ang sakit ng ulo mo.

Halos mahingal ka na at umiikot na ang paningin mo, ngunit kailangan mo na pumunta sa finish line, kahit at least mataas lang ang grade since this is your chance para bumawi sa P.E subject.

Nanghihina na ang mga tuhod mo at halos mag collapse ka na nang bumabagal ang takbo mo, napa hinto ka muna saglit.

Si Ran naman ay nangunguna sa race as usual, pero napalingon ito at nakita ang sitwasyon mo. He stopped in his tracks as he looked at the distance, onting takbo nalang malapit na siya sa finish line at mauunahan na siya.

And... Ran Haitani didn't hesitate to come back to you.

"Fuck it." Binalikan ka niya nang agad siyang tumakbo pabalik.

"Why is Ran Haitani coming back?!" Sigaw ng iba, "Onti nalang siya na ang mananalo!"

Akala mo talaga mahihimatay ka na sa track field, pero naramdaman mo na may bumuhat sayo. Napatingin ka and you see Ran carrying you on his back at tumakbo papuntang finish line, nagulat ka nalang bigla.

"What the—?! Hey!" Your eyes widened, "The teachers will see us! Ano ka ba! Pag ikaw na disqualify! You'll lose! Or bumaba ang grades—!"

"Wag kang malikot, plus I don't give a shit about that," Ran told while running, "Just hold onto my shoulders, mahulog ka pa."

"Okay..." Bulong mo as you then agreed. Nararamdaman mo parin ang sakit sa ulo't katawan mo, kaya you just hold onto his shoulder as you watched the finish line getting close.

"Ayaw mo yun, perfect score mo sa P.E." Tawa ni Ran nang patuloy lang na tumatakbo sa finish line, agad naman niyang nalagpasan ang mga kaklase mo at nagulat nalang sila sainyong dalawa.

"Hoy! Madaya yan ah! Edi wow!"

Ilang segundo, binaba ka ni Ran sa balikat niya at napatingin ka na ilang steps nalang ay finish line na.

"Mauna ka na." Sabi niya sayo, and this is the first time that Ran loses in any P.E activities.

"How about you?!" Your brows furrowed.

"Mauna ka na nga, maabutan ka pa nila." Ran told, at sinadya niyang bagalin ang takbo niya.

There, tumakbo ka na rin papuntang finish line, and you stepped on it, making you the winner of the game!

"Seems like we have a winner, (L/N) (Y/N)!" Sigaw ni Ms. Valdez.

"What?!" Napahinto ang Section B at tumingin sa finish line.

"Madaya! Nakita ko si Ran binuha—" Sigaw ni Makoto, but was cut off when Ran covered his mouth from behind.

"Wala yun," Sagot ni Ran habang hinila si Makoto gamit tainga niya, at napasigaw naman ito, "Aray! Hoy, Ran! Aray!"

"Tumahimik ka, gusto mo malaman kung paano maging pogi, diba?" Panloloko ni Ran.

"Oo naman! Paturo nga lods." At syempre, nauto naman si Makoto.

"Uh, Ran." You walked to him as you called.

"Ano?"

"I'll ask this first, uh how did the teachers not see? Hindi ka ba mapapagalitan?"

"Hindi nila tayo napansin." Ran shrugged.

"How? What?" You furrowed your brows in confusion.

"I did something, but I asked a little help from some people." Ran smirked.

"Anong ginawa mo, ha?"

"Look." Ran pointed at the benches kung saan nakaupo ang mga teachers... at bakit andoon ang ibang students from Section A?!, "I asked them to distract the teachers, at binayaran ko." Ran told.

You see Baji, Hanma, (Y/N) from Section A, and Senju distracting the P.E teachers on the benches, sumasayaw sayaw pa sila at kunwaring nag papacheck ng papers... para raw sainyong dalawa ni Ran.

Napatingin naman sila sainyong dalawa ni Ran, at nag thumbs up sila secretly at tumalon talon sa malayo, "Okay ba, Ran?! Congrats sainyo! Happy first anniversa— ay este first win! Successful yung ginawa namin ah!"

"WHAT?!" Your eyes widened as you looked at Ran.

"See?" Ran smirked.

"WOOOH! Congrats—!" Sigaw nina (Y/N), at nag twerk pa siya! Pero napatingin naman ang mga teachers sa apat na estudyante from Section A, at nahuli! Kaya agad silang tumakbo! Nag tumbling at tumalon talon pa sa mga benches pababa na akala mo naka wala sa kulungan.

"By the way, (Y/N). Congratulations for your win."

"Pero, Ran. Hindi ako yung—" Sagot mo, but was cut off when Ran just continued blabbering and covered your mouth.

"Blablabla ano ano? Wala akong marinig." Pangaasar pa ni Ran.

"I said, hindi ako—"

"Blablabla, what?"

"Fine, I said... thank you."

"Blabla— huh?"

"I said— thank you for making me win, Ran." Ngiti mo, at Ran's eyes widened. Agad naman siyang tumalikod sayo at umalis, hiding his face.

"Yeah yeah, welcome." Sagot niya habang nakatalikod at naglalakad paalis.

"Damn, my first win with her." Ran thought as he hid his smile.

Naglakad naman ang Section B niyo pabalik ng classroom after P.E class, at ikaw ay nanghihingal na sa hagdanan. Really gripping the railings for dear life.

Sumasakit parin ang ulo mo, kaya't you held your forehead to check that you're heating up, "Don't tell me... my fever is back, ugh."

But as you walked into the hallway, you saw a group of girls whispering while looking at you.

You ignored their judging looks, but one of them called you.

"Hi, my name is Lexi," She smiled, "What's yours? Oh, (Y/N) (L/N), right? My bad, I almost forgot. I saw you in F5's live eh."

You raised a brow, "Okay?"

"Lexing Toni Ramirez by the way, or just call my Lexi or Toni in short, whatever you want." She smiled as she walked to you and held her hand out.

"Lexington? As in a city in Kentucky?" You bantered.

"What—?" Lexi laughed as she looked at her friends, "I mean, I've been getting that a lot."

"Hey! You! The (Y/N) from Section B!" Then, some of the girls shouted behind Lexi, at napatingin ka naman sakanila.

"Sino ka? Ba't mo nilalapitan si Ran? No— I mean yeah, we're just asking. May something ba sainyo? Ikaw yung nasa LIVE, right?" They asked as they went closer to you.

"Girls, calm down." Lexi whispered as she gave them threatened looks.

"Ano ba, Lexi?" One of them said.

"Kaycee." Lexi gave her a threatening glare.

"What a familiar name." You whispered.

Kaycee turned her head to you, then rolled her eyes, "So, answer me."

"Oh, I see," You know their little schemes and intentions, "I don't have the time for this." You said then walked off.

"Excuse me? Kinakausap ka namin nang maayos ah!" Hinila ka naman nila by your wrist.

"Don't touch me." You pried your wrist away from them.

"Wow! Who even are you? A special one? Just because na-stuck sa classroom with Ran? You think na nagka developan na kayo ng feelings niyan? Feeling love story?"

You just sighed and rolled your eyes. You ignored their words, and your headache is getting worse.

"Hoy! Sagutin mo kami! Ang bait bait namin sayo noong una, ha! We approached you nicely!"

"O? Eh bakit ngayon galit na galit kayo? Did your façade break? Pretending to be nice and now look at you, ba't affected kayo?" Sagot mo.

"Tanga ka pala eh, well of course you provoked us! Kaya kami nagalit!"

"U-um," Lexi's eyes widened as she glared at the girls, "A-ano ba, why are you saying those to (Y/N)? Get out!"

"At least galingan niyo naman yung acting niyo, hindi kapaniwa-niwala eh," You told, then walked off, "Dagdag kayo ng sakit sa ulo."

The girls were stunned, and they just looked at you walking away with their jaws dropped.

Lexi just glared at you, staring as you walked into the classroom.

"Ewww!"

Pag pasok mo sa classroom ninyo, ang una mong nakita ay ang mga boys sa harap ng aircon na nagkukumpulan. You know, after every P.E class, pag pasok mo sa classroom, halos siksikan mga boys sa harap ng aircon, tinataas pa yung shirts nila, amoy putok tuloy buong classroom.

"Ang baho!" Akane gagged.

Si Ran ay naka harap din sa AC, at tinaas niya ang P.E shirt niya at hinarap ang abs sa aircon, onti nalang maghuhubad eh, "Tangina, ang init."

"Sanaol aircon, ay charot." Bulong ni Hakkai.

Si Makoto naman ay halos kainin ng aircon dahil sa sobrang lapit ng mukha, si Yamagushi ganon din, ikikiss nalang daw yung AC.

"Kadiring mga lalaki 'to," Akane said, "Hoy! Nangangamoy imburnal level infinite putok classroom natin ah!"

"Gago kabahan na kayo kapag pwet ko yung hinarap ko sa aircon mga puta." Sabi ni Benkei.

"Do you want powder? Hairbrush?" Yuzuha passed some beauty care to you and others. Siya yung tipong supply ng mga ganitong bagay, lalo na every after P.E class.

Sina Sanzu at Rindou naman ay nag hubad sa harapan ng classroom, walang hiya talaga at doon nag hilamos.

"What the—" Yumi covered her eyes.

"Kay Pah lang daw titingin! ASUSS! RAWRARWR!" Pang asar naman nina Hakkai at Akane kay Yumi.

Si Koko ay nagbibihis din sa likod ng classroom, pero nagulat nang accidentally naglakad si Inui para kunin ang bag, "Hey! What the fuck!"

Inui almost jumped dahil gulat din at agad naman itong umalis, "My bad."

"Ano ba! Kaming girls sa c.r. magpapalit noh." Akane rolled her eyes.

"Oo nga, same. Diba, girls?" Hakkai told.

"Makoto, bihisan mo nga 'to para tumahimik!" Sigaw ni Yamagushi.

"AYIEEE!" Sigaw ng Section B.

"Puta, ew!" Hakkai said nang hinampas ng liptint si Yamagushi.

Si (Y/N) naman ay naka upo lang sa upuan niya nang tahimik habang naka heads down at hawak hawak ang sumasakit na ulo.

Init lang din ang nararamdaman mo, kaya't tumayo ka para kunin ang bag mo para mag bihis na rin.

But as you stood up, you almost lost balance. Napahawak ka sa upuan mo for support at umiikot na rin ang paningin mo.

"(Y/N)?" Napansin ka naman nina Yuzuha and the other girls, "Okay ka lang?"

"Y-yeah, I'm fine." You nodded as you zipped your bag open to get your clothes, but you feel your joints getting wobbly, your vision getting blurry and hazy, and there, you slowly collapsed, on the verge of getting unconscious.

"AY! (Y/N)! Hoy! Nahimatay si (Y/N)!" Tumakbo naman ang mga kaklase mo sayo.

Ran turned his head in the direction where his classmates are shouting, and he spotted you laying on the ground. His eyes widened as his heart dropped.

"(Y/N)!"

The last thing you saw was Ran running towards you with a genuinely worried expression on his face before you completely passed out.
