Six
Seonghwa awakes with a start in the middle of the night, feeling around to see he's still in the comfort of his bed. He looks down, sighing in relief when he sees Jongho cuddled into his chest, his pacifier barely in his mouth as tiny snores leave his lips.
Seonghwa smiles, running his fingers through the baby's hair softly. His fingers slip through the soft, thick strands like nothing. The baby hums in his sleep, smiling a little and Seonghwa can't help but giggle softly. Hongjoong was passed out as well, one arm under Jongho's head while the other was wrapped around both Jongho and Seonghwa.
The older smiles at his boyfriend, barely kissing his fingertips and just so slightly brushing them against Hongjoong's lips. But the other flinches, startling awake as well and frowning from being woken up, "You okay?" He asks, Seonghwa shushing him for Jongho is still sleeping soundly.
"I'm okay, just had a little nightmare," Seonghwa whispers, running his fingers this time through Hongjoong's hair. He trimmed his mullet finally, but his hair was still pretty long in the back. And he never realized it until now, but it's thick and soft just like Jongho's.
"Nightmare?" He whispers, closing his eyes before taking Seonghwa's hand in his own and kissing his wrist.
"Yeah, nothing to be worried about," Seonghwa whispers, rolling over a little to see it is almost five in the morning. Seonghwa sighs, "It's still early, let's go back to sleep."
"Already heading there," Hongjoong mumbles, his body visibly relaxing as he drifts back into dreamland. Seonghwa smiles, scooting a little closer to his family before falling back asleep himself.
The next time he wakes up, the sun is shining brightly in the room and Jongho is sitting up looking around. He giggles, "Good morning baby boy, did you sleep well?" Jongho stares at his mother, picking up his pacifier that fell out of his mouth and putting it back in his mouth before laying his head on Seonghwa's hip. "Aw, are you still sleepy baby?"
Jongho stays silent, that is until the door opens and Hongjoong steps in with a towel around his waist and his hair dripping with water from his shower. Shortly after him, Seonghwa's mother enters with her hands on her hips, "Park Seonghwa."
"Yeah?" He sighs, sitting up and causing Jongho to cuddle into his legs.
"What have I said about people being in your room? Especially the ones you're seeing?" She says sternly, putting her hands on her hips as she waits for his answer.
"What?" He frowns, "You never cared before who was in my room?"
"Times have changed, you can have babies and you really don't need another kid anytime soon so from now on Hongjoong isn't allowed in your room," she points to the door and looks at Hongjoong, "Out."
"Mom are you serious right now?" Seonghwa scoffs, standing and helping Hongjoong find clothes real quick while his mom takes Jongho in her arms and kisses his temple.
"Very, and did you even change this child yet?" She rolls her eyes, "honestly, am I going to have to start doing everything around here?"
Seonghwa takes Jongho back in his arms, pointing to the door, "Get out."
"Excuse you?" She scoffs, "It's my house, I pay the damn bills!"
"No excuse you! First off, I just woke up so I haven't had a chance to change my child's wet diaper. Secondly, don't come in here and suddenly get shitty with me about my boyfriend sleeping in here when he has been for the past five months and you've not said a damn word! Now you're wanting to suddenly change everything just because I have a kid?"
"You young man do not have the right to speak to me this way," his mom yells, getting in Seonghwa's face and Jongho whines.
Seonghwa was pulled back by Hongjoong and he steps in front of the other, staring the mom down as he grits out, "You won't have to worry about this anymore, because we're leaving."
"What!?" Seonghwa and his mother said at the same time, both extremely confused.
"You heard me right, we're leaving to a place of our own. If you don't like that we're here, we'll leave," he opens the door, gesturing to it, "Please leave so we can get dressed and pack."
She gawks at him, scoffing a little as she turns and leaves the room. Hongjoong shuts the door and as soon as he did Seonghwa seethes, "Are you crazy!?"
"No, because I have a place we can go to," he replies, going to the closet and grabbing his clothes to put on, "Question is, do you want to come with me?"
Seonghwa bites his lip, carrying Jongho over to the changing table and started changing his diaper. Hongjoong senses his hesitation, and walks over to him, "Babe?"
"We're not going to be homeless are we?" Seonghwa asks, changing his son's diaper before looking at him.
"We're not going to be homeless. My grandma lives downtown and I had lived with her before I found my apartment and moved out," Hongjoong cups Seonghwa's cheeks, "I would never let us live on the streets."
Seonghwa nods, kissing his boyfriend before picking his baby back up, "I guess we'll start packing."

With Hongjoong's full with as much stuff they can fit in it, they take off towards Hongjoong's grandmother's house which wasn't very far from where Seonghwa lived. Even better news, it's about a five minute walk away from the nursing home and at the restaurant where Hongjoong works on weekends.
As soon as they had pulled in the driveway, Hongjoong's grandmother steps out and waved. She didn't look very elderly, her face had a minimum amount of wrinkles and her hair only had small slivers of silver in it. She steps down the stairs, walking over to Hongjoong as he opens his arms for her, "Hello my handsome grandson," she kisses his cheek, turning to greet Seonghwa as he's getting Jongho out of his car seat.
"Nan, this is Seonghwa, my boyfriend," Hongjoong introduces him, Seonghwa turning with Jongho in his arms and shaking her hand.
But she rips her hand away and smiles, "Silly young man, I don't shake hands," she chuckles and hugs Seonghwa, her tiny body felt like it could be crushed if Seonghwa hugged her too tight. Seonghwa awkwardly hugs her back before she coos and holds her finger out for Jongho to grab on. The baby, having just woken up from his small nap in the car, narrows his eyes as he tries to study her face, "Hello little one, who might you be?"
"This is my son, Jongho," Seonghwa smiles, "He's seven months old."
"Oh how precious," she chuckles, ruffling his hair, "just look at that hair!"
Seonghwa chuckles, Jongho grinning at her and cooing. Hongjoong started taking bags in the house, the grandma looks to him, "Just put your stuff in the living room dear! We'll move you guys in after dinner."
Seonghwa gets her attention by clearing his throat lightly, she smiles at him as he hands her money, "For rent," he nods, "If you want me to I can also buy groceries and pay for whatever bills you need me to pay-"
She chuckles, handing him back the money and patting his cheek gently, "Sweetheart, as long as you three live under my roof the only thing you'll be paying for is yourselves and your needs. All I ask is you clean up after yourselves and respect my home. I'll cook, take care of the bills, and everything. Heck," she tickles Jongho's feet and the baby giggles, "I can even baby sit for you, I'm retired after all."
"I don't want to push him onto you-"
"Nonsense," she smiles, "Just make sure he's got plenty of baby food and diapers and wipes, I don't care to watch him at all."
Seonghwa's heart melts and he nods, "Thank you, so very much."
"No need, now," she bounces Jongho on her hip as she leads them both into the house, "I hope you all like steak and chicken fajita nachos! Because we're eating Mexican."

Trying to write as much as I can, I'm quitting my job and once I'm gone I won't have access to a keyboard to write on wattpad. I have my phone but I can't write while at work, and sometimes it's easier to write on a keyboard. Another thing, my mom turned off our WiFi so I can't use my laptop either 🤷🏻♀️ oh well.
