Eleven
Staring at his son is something Seonghwa finds himself doing quite a bit. Staring at him was his realization that he really has a handsome baby boy, that he's actually raised him for eight months, and to keep the promise in his head that Henry is not taking him. Jongho snores softly in his sleep, cooing and smiling every so often. Seonghwa giggles quietly, brushing his long hair back behind his ear and gently kissing the tip of his son's tiny nose to not wake him.
Jongho when he wakes up, immediately wants to feed, and Seonghwa just wanted to hold his son and love on him. Sure he can do that when his baby is feeding, but lying down and fawning over his baby is different than feeding, especially when Jongho has a tooth coming in.
He sighs, closing his eyes a little as he tries to fall back asleep but Jongho has other plans as he whines. Seonghwa peeks an eye open, Jongho's little face scrunches up as he works his way into a cry. Seonghwa shushes him, the baby instantly waking and reaches for him, "Mom mom mom!"
"I know baby," he whispers, pulling Jongho close and sitting up, lifting his shirt so he can feed Jongho easily. Once he latches, Seonghwa hisses when he feels that itty bitty tooth biting down harshly, "Easy Jongho! You're going to chew my nipple off!"
Jongho ignores him as he nurses quietly, his eyes slip close right away and he's fallen back asleep ten minutes into feeding. Seonghwa sighs, leaning against the bed frame as he rests his eyes closed. He hears Hongjoong mumble, rolling over and wrapping his arm around Seonghwa's waist as he smacks his lips together, "Seonghwa..."
Seonghwa rolls his eyes, shaking his head fondly as he continues to feed Jongho and allow Hongjoong to cuddle him as well. He can't complain, yes it's three in the morning, but he can't complain. This is all he ever wanted.

Being eight months old, almost nine months, Jongho has covered a significant amount of milestones for his life. He started getting his first tooth right when he turned eight months old, teething wasn't fun at all for Seonghwa and made him have many breakdowns where he would lock himself in his room and cry while Jongho screamed in the other room.
When he was seven months old, he crawled for the first time for Hongjoong and it took him forever before he finally crawled for everyone else. Normally he belly scooted before he finally picked himself up on his hands and knees and crawled after his parents. Eight months almost nine, he began standing and walking around a bit with the help from holding someone's hand.
And finally, around nine months old he began walking. It was shakey steps at first, and only a couple before he fell on his butt or occasionally falling on his tummy and resulting in crying. But after a few practices, he's able to walk a few steps to Seonghwa and Hongjoong before he sits on his butt and crawls the rest of the way. The day he learned to walk, was the day Seonghwa cried the hardest his entire life.
And now, today is the day where he finally gets to fight Henry for the rights of Jongho.
He waited outside of the courthouse with Seokjin, Hongjoong, and the thick folder in his hands with the needed records the lawyer told him about. Inside the folder was records of all of Jongho's shots and doctors visits, his birth certificate, all of the receipts he managed to find for buying diapers and wipes the past few months, and so on so forth. Including the doctors visit records for when he was pregnant. All of these were records held for proof that Jongho was in Seonghwa's care for almost the entire year he's been born, and for the entire pregnancy.
Seokjin was here as a witness for when Henry told Seonghwa to abort the baby when he was pregnant, as well as the birth and pretty much everything else after that. As for Hongjoong, he's witness to the harassment they have received from Henry and as well a witness to Henry not being in Jongho's life.
Seonghwa sighs, the stress of everything has been hitting him hard and he's been trying to remain calm. Something keeps telling him that he's not going to have his son, he's not going to be with him, so his nerves are a little on edge. Hongjoong wraps his arm around him, rubbing his side for comfort as he frowns a little, "It's alright baby, you know as well as everyone else that Jongho is your son and not Henry's."
"I know, but-" Seonghwa starts, shyly sinking into Hongjoong for comfort as the younger shushes him and kisses his cheek.
"The judge would be an idiot to rule custody over Jongho over to Henry. You have nothing to worry about," he whispers in Seonghwa's ear, kissing his cheek once more before holding him close.
"I've never been to court, and I've never had to fight for something like this so I'm really nervous and scared," Seonghwa tried not to cry, tried not to seem emotional for this day but damn it the water works weren't listening and he's shedding tears!
A taller, well fit but thin man walks over to the three and smiles his bunny like smile, holding his hand out for handshakes, "Seokjin, Seonghwa, Hongjoong," he nods as he speaks each name, confirming who is who, "How are we feeling today?"
"I'm very nervous Mr. Kim," Seonghwa sighs, wiping his eyes as he allows Hongjoong to hold him.
"Please, only call me Mr. Kim in that courtroom, it'll be just Jungkook," he smiles, patting Seonghwa's shoulder gently, "Nothing to be nervous about, I'm pretty good at winning my cases and this case is built strong in your favor. Henry Lau isn't going to get custody of your son Seonghwa, I promise."
"You know, you shouldn't be promising things to those when you don't know what the future has in store," a voice cuts from behind them, everyone turns to see Henry smoking while leaning against one of the poles outside the courthouse building.
Seonghwa glares, keeping his mouth shut like Jungkook has asked him. He knew Henry will try to get a rise out of him today, and he knew he was going to have to watch his tongue if he ever wanted full custody of his child, with no ties to Henry whatsoever.
Henry arches his eyebrow, "Not talking are we? Well, I guess I'll go ahead and take my leave. I'll see you inside Seonghwa," he winks, throwing his cigarette on the ground and walking away, not even bothering to stomp it out as he walks inside the courthouse.
Jungkook walks over to it, shaking his head as he stomps he cigarette out with his nicely polished shoe. He turns to his client and nods, "Let's go in."
