Familiar?

Dream's POV

The party was in 2 hours, the day went by slowly, Me and Karl and Sapnap were just hanging in my dorm due to how neat it is. "Dude whats on your mind you've been ignoring ME all day after your break? Just because I was high doesn't mean you can ignore me." Sapnap punched my arm lightly.

"Nothing sorry its just homework you know?" I laughed, but what really was on my mind is that pretty boy, I might never see him again, the thought worrys me.

"Dream. I'm your buddy you can tell me anything." Sapnap was not buying the homework thing. Shit.

"Well..." I hesitated, I usually told my friend, Sapnap anything, thats normal, but this was different its about a boy. My heart beats picked up its pace and my breathing quickened. What if Sapnap views me weird because it seemed like I liked girls, I know hes dating Karl, but I'm his straight friend maybe that'll be icky to him and I'll loose him as a friend, like he said hes my only friend him and Karl I trust them with my life they mean so much to me and losing them over me swooning over a boy? That'd be ridiculous right no one would ditch there friend because of there sexuality and we've been through so much they wouldn't leave me because of this right?

"Oh woah dude if you don't wanna tell me thats fine." Sapnap patted my back, maybe he saw how scared I looked.

"Its a boy." I blurted out, my breathing hitched and my heart beat was so loud, that they had to hear it loud and clear. I watched there reactions panicky, Sapnap jumped up and Karl giggled. My heart beat relaxed and my breathing evened out watching them react better then I originally expected.

"Oh my god?!" Karl had the biggest smile.

"WHAT? YOU HID THAT FROM ME?" Sapnap screeched, I covered my ears.

"YES NOW SIT DOWN." I shouted.

"Is he cute?" Karl whispered in a way as if we were girls gossiping.

"Yes." I whispered back, Karl started giggling, Sapnap now sat down next to Karl on the bed.

"Whats his name?" Sapnap asked, he played with Karls hand. I have to admit I envy Karl and Sapnaps relationship.

"I don't know actually.." I looked down. I never thought that I didn't know his god damn name because I was a pussy.

"Are you kidding me?" Karl sighed.

"I didn't go up to him!!" I defended.

"He better be at the party." Sapnap put his head in his hands. Hes right.

We walked through the doors of the house the party was located at, the smell of alcohol burned my nose, the music was loud it seems the only quiet place may be the kitchen. There was lights everywhere in the living room and two big speakers blasting absolute aids and people were shouting the lyrics with it, Sapnap and Karl ran off giggling, the room was full of people jumping and screaming, they all had smiles on there faces while chugging alcohol from a red solo cup and some were high out of there mind, must be nice.

I went to the backyard, there was lights around the garden, illuminating the plants and bushes, some people were in there own groups drinking beer and laughing. I inhaled a big gulp of air, relaxing while I exhaled, the cold air making me shiver, I quickly scanned the groups for the boy, even if I did see him what would I even say? I don't know him and he doesn't know me, I sighed and walked inside and went into the kitchen to grab a drink, it was cold outside. I felt someone tap my shoulder, I spun around.

"Excuse me? You look familiar whats your name?" The softest voice asked me, his heavy accent gave me slight butterflies, it took me a minute to realize it was the pretty boy I saw earlier, his eyes were so pretty they were such a pretty brown like coffee on a cold morning when the air is crisp and cold or like tree bark in a forest, and his fluffy hair was adorable it helped shape his face, and god his lips they looked so soft and formed into the cutest smile. Realization set in, I was just admiring his looks for minutes, shit, what did he say? Familar right. Wait familiar?

"Oh my name is Dream and yours?" I would kill to know his name. He had a rose tint across his face, my staring got to him obviously, I grinned in pride, I did that.

"George. Sorry I know this is weird, but I swear I know you, have I met you before?" George. What a pretty name for a prettier boy.

"We've only just met. I'm sorry you may be confused with someone else." I patted his shoulder and began to walk away. George grabbed my hand.

"Do you wanna maybe hangout together? I'm alone at this party." He muttered.

"Sure, I'm alone too." I smiled at him and he smiled back. God it was the cutest smile. He dragged me over to the living room and begged me to dance with him, I shook my head, but he held onto my arms and shook me around while he shaked his body and giggled the whole time, his laugh made me smile, hes the cutest and most precious thing ever. "I need a shot of whiskey or something, I'll be back." I hurried off to the kitchen to grab a red solo cup and dumped a shot of some fireball in a cup and chugged it, I took one more for confidence of course and ran back to George he was giggling and chatting with some girls then waved them off when he saw me.

"Oh getting some pussy are we?" I joke and he cringed and shook his head.

"Not my type.." He muttered, I smiled hoping his type was more masculine and blonde and tall. We went back to dancing, more like just wiggling and laughing I've never had so much fun with someone, yeah sure with friends, but this was different it felt like I've felt this before, having fun, but this feeling of fun was amazing, but I didn't feel this now no not this life. George started slowing his dance movements and rested his head on my chest, I stopped my moments and moved my arms so they were holding his waist and one was rubbing little circles on his back, I leaned down to whisper in his ear.

"Do you wanna ditch this party? I know a cool park nearby." He mumbled a yes, I held his hand and dragged us out of the crowded living room, we slipped out the front door and I ran down the sidewalk with him, we were both giggling like kids who just snuck out of there house without there parents knowing for the first time. The air was cold and us running into the wind didn't help, but I didn't care I was with George.

We made it to the park and sat down on swings next to eachother, catching our breath, it was dark outside, but some street lights illuminated the park and his adorable face. "You're really pretty." I whispered, he heared me and flustered.

"O-oh thank you, I..you're hot I mean.." He stuttered, I laughed and he blushed out of embarrassment.

"I know I am." I glanced at his reaction, and he was smiling and shaking his head, we stayed there for hours talking and laughing, I got his number and we walked back to the party.

"I had fun." He smiled and looked up at me, I returned the smile.

"Me too..would you like to go on a date sometime?" I bit my lip hating myself even more, hes gonna say no, he doesn't like me that- my thoughts were interrupted by him opening his mouth to answer.
