Rosa sat in a daydream.
After their little moment in the early hours, Rosa and Gina sat on Rosa's balcony to watch the sunrise. She had managed to calm down a significant amount, Gina's arms still firmly around her. She didn't even care that Rosa reeked of cigarettes. Gina just sat, hands wandering aimlessly over Rosa's body, caressing every inch of the body she was growing so fond of, even slipping her hand down the front of Rosa's shorts at one point. Rosa had let out a small gasp and then a smile when Gina briefly stroked over her underwear and then brought her hand back up to cradle the Latina's cheek, kissing her softly.
She smiled at the memory of Gina's hands on her, when the front door opened.
"It's only me, Ro!" Callie called out. She threw her keys onto the counter and made her way through to the living room. Rosa turned to look at her cousin and smiled.
"Hey."
Callie made an 'ooo' sound as she sat on the couch next to Rosa.
"Someone's happy," Callie mused and playfully elbowed her arm.
"I am." Rosa smiled and Callie nodded for her to carry on. "So that date i went on the other night?"
"Mmm hmm."
"I hated it. It was always fancy and claustrophobic. Just sent me into a bit of a panic," Callie nodded, concern washing over her face:
"But then last night, she turned up at my door out of the blue. She told me she noticed I was uncomfortable and wanted to make it up to me. We sat here and watched 'Somethings gotta give' and ate takeout." Rosa seemed so genuinely happy, it warmed Callie's heart.
"She sounds like a good one, hermosa."
"That's not even the good bit!" Callie clocked an eyebrow. She hadn't heard this much enthusiasm from Rosa since middle school. "I had a nightmare about Jo, and I went outside to calm down. I must have woken her up though because she came out after me and we talked about everything. I told her about it and in the moment, I told her she should probably leave and date someone else for her own good. But she just said she wanted me. She only wants to date me, and she wants to help me." A tear ran down Rosa's cheek. Callie shuffled over and wrapped her arms around her.
"I can't tell you how proud I am of you for opening up to someone. I've watched you struggle for years, and you deserve someone that's making you as happy as this woman is. I haven't seen you smile so much since, well, ever." She kissed Rosa's forehead and gave the woman a soft, comforting smile.
"Thank you, Cal."
"Sooooo, What's the mystery woman called?" Callie smirked and sat back.
"Gina Linetti." Rosa said and Callie's eyes lit up.
"Gina Linetti as in Arizona's hair stylist Gina?!"
"Maybe? I mean she is a hairstylist so probably."
"Small redhead? Really nice blue eyes? Slightly odd style but you couldn't see her in anything else?"
"Yes! That's her." Rosa said.
"Oh, Rosa. She's lovely!" Callie's eyes filled with joy. "She can be full on sometimes, but she really is a nice person."
"Yeah? She a keeper?" Rosa smiled slightly. Everything was falling into place.
"Oh absolutely! I'm so proud of you."
"I love you."
"I love you, too dumbass."

Rosa isn't a touchy, feely person. But, after the talk she had with Callie that morning, she just wanted to see Gina again. It had only been a few hours since she had got up and left for work, but Rosa just couldn't wait. Before she knew it, she was stood outside Gina's salon with a bouquet in hand. Gina had put up with her sobbing, it was the least she could do.
Taking a breath, Rosa pushed the door open and stepped through the door. She insantly spotted her. Gina was stood, leaning against the wall, talking to a customer who was obviously waiting for her colour to develop. Her head was stacked with shiny foils in perfect rows. Of course, Gina was good at her job too.
"Whose hot girlfriend just walked in with a fat bunch of flowers? You lucky bitch, I hate you," The woman behind the front desk called at the sight of Rosa. She blushed, unsure what to say. Luckily, she didn't need to say anything.
"That would be me," Gina smirked and pushed off the wall. She made her way to Rosa, a smile plastered on her face.
"Really, Linetti?!" Gina winked at the receptionist and wiggled her tongue before reaching Rosa.
"What's all this?" She smiled and kissed the bright red woman.
"I, urm, i wanted to thank you for last night. I'm sorry I put that on you." Rosa said, avoiding eye contact and pushed the flowers out. Gina took them and pinched Rosa's chin between her finger and thumb, forcing eye contact.
"Stop apologising. This is so sweet, you big softie." She kissed her again and wrapped her arms around Rosa's neck, hugging her.
"Do you want to stay over again tonight?" Rosa asked, still hugging her.
"I'd love to," Gina smiled against her neck. She brought her lips to Rosa's ear, "Maybe i can finish what i started earlier. Show you how much i meant it when I said I want you." Rosa let out an almost inaudible whimper, but Gina heard. Gina definitely heard. She pulled back and smiled at her and gave her a quick peck to the lips:
"Only if you want to, of course."
"It's a date," Rosa nodded and kissed her again. They both knew everyone was staring but neither of them really cared. They were too absorbed in each other.
"I've got to get back to work but I'll see you later, yeah?" Gina tilted her head and Rosa nodded again.
"Of course," She kissed the redhead's cheek and turned to leave the salon
"She hot," Cora, the woman at the desk, said. She had her chin propped up in her palm; she'd obviously watched the whole thing.
"She's beautiful," Gina smiled, laying the flowers on the counter and going back to her chair. "And she's mine.
