"I'm so sorry Stasia."
Bruno said as he looked to the other.
"But I can promise you that you are safe here."
he said sweetly.
"The Encanto is well hidden, no one will find it. You are safe as long as you stay here with us."
"But I found it."
Stasia replied.
"The miracle must have intended for you to find it."
"There is no such thing as miracles."
Stasia snapped.
"Stasia,"
Bruno said,
"How can you say that? Look around you. You have seen the gifts this family has and you still claim that there is no such thing?"
"There is no such thing as miracles."
Stasia hissed again.
"If there was then my family would still be here."
She said sharply.
"I would not have to run endlessly and be... alone..."
She paused.
"I am alone, Bruno."
Bruno looked at her. Now he understood the sadness behind her eyes.
"If there is anyone here who deserves a miracle, it's me."
Stasia said bitterly.
"Stasia miracles aren't given to those who deserve them."
Bruno reasoned.
"They are given to those who have no hope. There is still hope for you, Stasia."
He said softly.
"I would know."

"Your grace!"
a young woman shouted as she threw herself into an office that was illuminated by large windows that looked out over a beautiful countryside.
"Yours grace!"
She shouted again. She nearly tripped as she ran up to the desk where an elderly woman sat.
"What? What is it Sofie?"
The elderly woman asked as she brought a pair of square spectacles to her face so she could better see the young woman.
"A clue!"
Sofie said as she waved around a folded up piece of paper.
"A clue to your long lost granddaughter!"
"Then stop waving it around like a flag and give it here."
The old woman ordered.
"Yes, your grace."
Sofie finally said as she placed the paper in the woman's hand.
"This is a copy of a letter that was intercepted to General Stephen Volkov of the Soviet Union."
Sofie told the woman as she unfolded the parchment and began to read.
"My heavens it does sound like her."
she said with a sigh.
"But what is she doing in Colombia of all places?"
the woman added as she placed the letter aside.
"I just cannot handle going on any more wild goose chases only to get my heart shattered again."
She said as a somber look took over her features.
"Your grace, with all due respect,"
Sofie began,
"How will you ever know if it's not her?"
She asked.
"If it is her you could finally bring her home and have the happily ever after you have always wanted."
"Sofie..."
"Please, your majesty, I just want to see you happy for once."
The woman sighed as she rose from her desk.
"I suppose a trip would do me some good."
She announced and Sofie smiled at her.
"I will need a ticket for the next plane to Colombia, I will need my things packed within the hour."
"Yes ma'am right away."

"Tío Bruno."
The two looked up to see Mirabel.
"Abuela and Pepa need you downstairs."
She told him. The man sighed as he stood up but turned to look at Stasia.
"Think about what I said."
He said with soft grin before turning to head down stairs. Mirabel looked to Stasia as he left.
"So,"
she began,
"Why don't you come with me and I'll show you where you'll be staying while you're in casa Madrigal."
She said happily as she led the way out of Bruno's room.
"Mirabel,"
Stasia began but Mirabel stopped her.
"You don't have to tell me, Dolores told me everything."
Mirabel informed her.
"Dolores?"
Stasia asked.
"My cousin."
Mirabel replied.
"She can hear anything and everything. She can probably hear us right now, hi Dolores."
Mirabel said with a smile to herself.
"Oh."
Stasia replied. Now it made sense what Bruno had said about someone would be able to hear them when they were talking.
"Here we are,"
Mirabel said as she stopped in front of a door that was not as festive as all the others.
"This is my room."
