Today was the second day of Mike visiting everyone at the Wheelers place and to say it had been kind of nerving at times was an understatement.

El and him had broken up a few days ago through mail and now to see her everywhere he went was kind of strange.

They had decided to break up because they thought that they would be better as friends and that the long distance relationship was hard even if they weren't loosing their spark.

Now to see her every day, it was kind of stressful.

That's why he would stay close to Will as much as possible, practly attached to his hip at times.

Will noticed this, along with everyone else in the house, but nobody commented on it because they knew what had happened with him and El.

Instead, Will embraced the closeness and loved the small touches like their hands or arms, sometimes even legs brushing against each other.

The poor boy has had a crush on his best friend ever since he was ten years old but never said anything because of how society is and because he was scared that he would loose his best friend; so he kept his mouth shut and tried his best to hide his feelings.

Now that Mike was showing him more attention over Jane and he was acting like his best friend again, Will was ecstatic.

"Hey Will?" Mike said as he stared up at the ceiling, laying on Will's bed while Will read a book in the floor, claiming that it was comfortable.

Mike and El had just had their first in person fight since forever ago. It was over the fact that Jane called him out, saying that he hadn't been talking to her bacily at all and she was upset because he had lied. He said that they would stay friends and still talk to one another and he didn't.

"Friends aren't supposed to lie Mike." She stated as she glared at him. He was taken aback and tried to save himself but couldn't think of anything to say.

He hadn't ment to go back on his promise, he wanted them to stay friends but he just felt strange after two years of them dating to break up, only to see her a few days after.

So he replied with "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to lie. I just need a little space before I think things can go back to normal." Before walking past her and into Will's room.

That's why he was laying on his bed in the first place.

Will didn't say anything to Mike as he came in, having heard their whole conversation on the other side of the door.

"Yes Mike?" Will answered when he heard Mike speak up for the first time since he came into the room.

"Can you talk to me? It doesn't have to be anything important or even make any sense. I just need to hear your voice." Mike asked as he looked over at Will who looked confused and flustured at the same time.

"Oh, um sure." Will said still very confused yet if Mike wanted him to talk to make him feel better then he would.

So he put his bookmark in his book and started talking about his latest DND campaign he wants to try and start up at his school here and all of the characters abilities and weaknesses.

He was getting very passionate in what he was talking about making Mike smile.

He allowed his eyes to slip shut as he listened to Will's voice. It always calmed him and helped him relax, this time was no different.

Will continued to ramble on until he looked up and saw that Mike's eyes were shut yet he had a small smile on his face.

Thinking he was asleep, Will stopped talking and began to read his book again.

"Why'd you stop?" Mike asked startling Will.

"I thought you were asleep." Will answered as he shut his book again, putting all of his attention on Mike who was once again looking at him.

"Oh, no I wasn't. Your voice is just really relaxing and calming so I let my body relax." Mike said making Will blush.

Mike thought his voice was calming?!

"Oh." Will said with a small smile of his own.

Mike, his best friend and crush thought his voice was calming!

"Can you come here?" Mike asked having Will nod and get up and move so he was sitting next to Mike on the bed.

Mike sat up as well before he wrapped his arms around Will's torso and nuzzled his head into the crook of Will's neck.

Will blushed darkly at Mike's actions but didn't make a comment on anything, instead he allowed his body to relax in Mike's embrace and tried his best to savor this feeling.

The feeling of being held in Mike's arms, the feeling of Mike's breath against his neck, the feeling of Mike's warmth surrounding his whole body. All of it, he wanted to savor it all because he didn't know if it would ever happen again.

"Are you uncomfortable like this?" Mike asked after a second even though he could feel how Will melted in his embrace and how he hadn't made any attempts to move away from him.

"No I'm not, are you okay though?" Will asked as he subconsciously cuddled closer to Mike, his body wanting more affection.

"Of course I'm okay, I have you don't I?" Mike answered as he pulled Will closer as well, the two now completely flush against each other.

Will's chest was against Mike's back as Mike's arms were around his torso, head on his neck and legs around his waist.

Will's hands were placed very gently on top of Mike's.

"You'll always have me though, is that really all you need?" Will asked as he looked down at Mike, only to see his curly hair.

"As long as I have you I'll be okay. Your all I need, your my rock." Mike said, smiling against Will's shoulder.

Will blushed darker at this yet smiled all the same.

"Well don't worry then because I'm not going anywhere any time soon." Will said back, only getting Mike's grip on him tightened.

"Good." Mike hummed as he too tried to savor this moment.

He wanted to savor how Will felt wrapped safely in his arms, Will's comforting weight against his chest, Will's hair tickling his neck, the way Will's hands played with his own subconsciously. Everything, he wanted to savor it all because he knows that when he has to go back home that it's going to be a long time before he gets to see Will again.

The two stayed like this for a long time, occasionally moving their cuddling position but never pulling away from one another.

After a while they ended up to where Will was sitting on Mike's lap, both of them chest to chest, Will's legs straightened out on either side of Mike's body, their arms wrapped around each other, and Will's head on Mike's shoulder as Mike's head was in the crook of Will's neck.

They stayed like this for the longest time seeing as they were the closest like this.

They were honstly about to fall asleep before there was a knock on the door.

Before either boy could reply or move out of the embrace, the door opened to reveal Johnathan.

"Hey, mom said dinner-" He cut himself off when he saw the two's position.

"She said dinners done and you need to come eat but I can tell her that it will be a few minutes if you need me to." He finnished as both Mike and Will blushed in embarrassment.

"No, its okay, we can come down now. Thanks." Will answered as he began detaching himself from Mike.

"Okay, no rush though. I'm sure she'll understand." Johnathan said with a smile before leaving the room, shutting the door behind him.

"Come on, let's go eat." Will said as he stood up.

"Wait." Mike said as he too stood up before grabbing onto Will's wrist.

"Yes?" Will said as he looked up at Mike.

"Could we maybe make cuddling more of a normal thing between us? I mean we don't have to or any-" Mike cut himself off when he felt Will hug him.

"Mike, calm down. We can cuddle as much as you want and if anyone asks then we can just tell them that we're touch starved." Will replied, his breath fanning against Mike's neck making him shiver.

"Okay, thanks." Mike smiled getting a smile back in return.

The two then left for dinner and got a knowing smirk from Johnathan and Murry who was over for some business thing with their mom.

After that day the two became a lot more affectionate to one another when they were alone but that grew to whenever they wanted affection no matter who was around.

Then when Mike had to leave, the two were constantly touching each other in some way through out the entire day. Any time one of them sat down the other would sit in their lap, they were standing up? Oh Mike had Will in a back hug. They were walking? They were holding hands then. Driving to the airport, neither of them were buckled and were instead cuddling in the back seat, not wanting to let the other go.

Right before they got into the airport, Joyce's phone rang making her pick it up.

"Hello, this is Joyce." She said as she answered it.

"Oh Karen! Nice to talk to you again, we were about to drop Mike off at the airport." Joyce said confusing Mike, why was his mom calling now?

"Oh really?!" "That's terrible!" "Yes of course he can stay!" "No its not a problem at all." "Okay, bye." Joyce answered confusing everyone else in the car.

"It turns out that there was a massive earthquake in Hawkins and part of your house was damaged by it. Mike, honey your room was one of the rooms. Your mom asked me if you could stay down here for a little longer then we planed because your school was destroyed. I'm so sorry." Joyce said, growing confused when Mike smiled back at her.

"Thats okay, thank you for letting me stay with you for longer." He said, not even attempting to hide his smile.

"After all, I have all I need right here." He whispered into Will's ear making Will blush darkly before hiding his blushing face into Mike's chest.

"It's no problem sweetie." Joyce smiled back before driving them back to her house.

They all stayed down there for a long time before Joyce got a house call telling her they they were all moving out of Hawkins and that the whole town was bacily destroyed.

So the whole gang was back together once again, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, El, and Max were all living close to one another once again.

Steve was the main baby sitter again but was now accompanied by Robin, Eddie, Johnathan, and Argyle.

All in all, the earthquake that destroyed Hawkins was actually great for everyone else.
