"Eddie! Eddie!" Dustin yelled as he hobbled over to the bloodied man on the ground, tears already pricking his eyes when he saw Eddie.

"Oh God... oh God Eddie." He said as he pulled Eddie's head into his lap.

"Bad huh?" Eddie asked looking up at the sky.

"No, no, your going to be fine we just need to get you to a hospital." Dustin said quickly as he took off his bandana, quickly wrapping it around one of Eddie's arms before grabbing Eddie's bandana and wrapping his other arm.

"I didn't run away this time right?" Eddie asked as he smiled up at Dustin.

"No, no, no, no, you didn't run." Dustin answered as he continued to take off peaces of his clothing and tying them around Eddie's wounds, quickly adding pressure to the worst of them before looking back at Eddie who gremased at the pain; yet still tried to keep his smile.

"Your going to have to look after those little sheep for me okay?" Eddie said as he began to tear up.

"No, your going to do that yourself! Shut the fuck up, your not going to die Eddie!" Dustin said before lifting his he attempted to move Eddie's body to get him standing up or even just sitting up.

"I guess it's not my time to graduate after all?" Eddie chuckled painfully as Dustin continued to try and pick him up.

"Eddie, shut up man. Your going to survive! Then your going to graduate and flip the fucking principle the bird and strut out of there like you planed!" Dustin yelled as tears began to roll down his face.

"I love you man." Eddie said as he looked at Dustin only to see the tears fall a little faster now.

"I love you too, now please help me! You can move, come on, please just try for me!" Dustin replied as he managed to get Eddie sitting up.

Eddie nodded slightly and finally began trying to help in standing up.

"There you go! Yeah, just keep this up! We'll be back into the normal world before you know it and we'll get you to a hospital and they'll fix you right up!" Dustin said with a wattery grin as he managed to help Eddie stand up.

Eddie groaned as he stumbled some, putting a lot more weight on Dustin as he did so making Dustin stumble as well.

"I'm sorry Henderson." Eddie said as he turned his head, coughing up some blood.

"Don't appoligise man, your perfectly fine. Look! We're almost inside of the house, we just have to get you through the portal and we'll be great." Dustin replied quickly as he attempted to speed up their pace; it being very difficult with his leg and the weight of Eddie.

Eddie only nodded in responce, worried that if he spoke again then he would cough up more blood.

"Okay, up the steps, yep, there you go! See! We've got this!" Dustin said as he attempted to blink the tears out of his eyes and reasure them both at the same time.

Soon enough they both managed to get into the trailer and they made it to the room with the portal.

"Okay buddy, you sit here for one second. I want you to talk to me the whole time though okay?" Dustin said as he set Eddie down onto the floor before taking a deep breath and jumping off of the chair and through the portal.

"Okay." Eddie replied before he began talking for real.

"I didn't run this time because I've always ran before and wanted to make a change. I figured if I could hold off the bats for a little longer then maybe the others would have more time to do what they needed to do." Eddie said through coughs and breaths while Dustin got up from the ground, limping even worse now.

He got the mattress back down where it's supposed to be before quickly making a new makeshift rope out of some old blankets before throwing it through the portal and climbing back through.

"What you did was so fucking brave man but Goddamn I wish you hadn't done it." Dustin replied as he landed back onto the upside-downs floor (on his feet) before he helped Eddie up again; the adrenaline being the only thing keeping him from colapsing next to Eddie.

"I know man, I'm sorry, I just wanted to help." Eddie said as he stood up, grabbing onto the 'rope' with the help of Dustin.

"I'll help you get over as best as I can but I don't know how well this is going to work." Dustin said before moving so Eddie was on his shoulders, lifting him high enough that he could reach the portal.

So Eddie pulled himself through before falling all but gracefully onto the dirty mattress.

"Fucking Hell." Dustin breathed heavily before lifting himself through the portal as well, making sure to land on his feet and not on Eddie.

"Okay, come on, you can sit on the couch while I walkie Lucas." Dustin said before helping Eddie sit on the couch then grabbed his walkie-talkie and attempted to talk to Lucas.

"Lucas! Come in Lucas!" Dustin said into the walkie, not getting any responce.

"Fucking shit man!" He yelled out in frustration before putting the walkie down.

"Okay looks like I'm going to be taking you to the hospital on my own!" Dustin said as he slung Eddie's arm around his shoulders as he wrapped his arm around Eddie's waist.

"How? You can't drive?" Eddie asked as he and Dustin walked towards the car.

"I don't really, your right but I'm sure it can't be that hard can it?" Dustin replied as they both walked and stumbled out of the trailer, down the steps, and into the car.

"In any other case I would be very against this, just know that okay?" Eddie said when Dustin came into the driver's seat, Eddie laying down in the back seat.

"I would too." Dustin replied before turning the car on and pressing the gas.

The two arrived quickly to the hospital and Eddie was rushed into the building by the workers and instantly taken care of.

Dustin was taken to the waiting room where he filled out a lot of paperwork, some with truthful answers and others with lies.

"Sir, you are aware that the man you brought in is a murder right?" Some nurse asked as she walked out of a door and towards him.

"He isn't a murder! Are you fucking stupid?!Do you not see what's happened to the town?! This is far beyond him! He never hurt anyone! He risked his life to save this fucking town and you call him a murder?!" Dustin yelled, quickly enraged by this lady, standing up as he yelled everything only to have his legs give out on him and make him fall forwards onto the lady.

"I- " the lady began before some male nurse came over and picked Dustin up before carring him to his own room; the poor boy having passed out from lack of adrenaline and stress.

***One day later***

"Fucking shit it's bright in here." Dustin groaned when he opened his eyes, only to be blinded by the bright lights of the hospital.

"Dustin!" A voice yelled making Dustin re-open his eyes, this time his head aimed towards the sound of the voice.

"Steve?" He asked when he saw who all was in his room.

Steve, Robin, Nancy, Mike, Will, Johnathan, and Eleven were all there.

"El, Mike, Will?!" He asked sounding even more shocked then before.

"Hi Dustin!" El said with a smile as she moved over to him, giving him a hug; both Mike and Will following suit.

"What happened man?" Steve asked as he hugged Dustin sending panic into Dustin once again, his heart rate speeding up on the monoter.

"Eddie! Is he okay?! Where is he?!" Dustin asked quickly, his eyes wide as he waited for an answer.

"Eddie's okay, he's in the next room ove-" Nancy began to explain, not being able to finnish her sentence before Dusint began to pull out all of the wires connected to him.

"Hey! What are you doing kid? Your going to hurt yourself!" Steve said as he attempted to stop his favorite child.

"I'm fine, my legs the only fucked up thing I swear." Dustin replied before standing up and attempted to walk out of the room, only to have his legs go limp for a second.

"Fuck!" He said loudly before he was caught by Johnathan and Steve, both of them having quick reflexes.

"Come on, we can help you walk to Eddie's room." Johnathan said with a smile as he wrapped one of Dustin's arms around his shoulders, Steve doing the same with his other arm.

So they all moved from Dusin's room to Eddie's room.

"Where's Lucas, Max and Erica?" Dustin asked in the hallway as they walked to Eddie's room.

"Oh... well Max is in the hospital bed because she had her lymbs broken by Veckna but thanks to El she should survive." Mike explained before Will chimed in, "And Lucas and Erica are in the room with Max so don't worry about them either." Getting a nod back from Dustin.

Right once El opened the door for them all to walk in, they saw Eddie sitting up on his bed staring at the wall.

When Eddie heard the door open however his head turned so quickly everyone thought he had given himself whiplash.

"Dustin!" He smiled largely.

"Eddie!" Dustin yelled back as he dropped his arms from around Johnathan and Steve's shoulders before limping quickly to Eddie, hugging him tightly once he actually reached him.

"I thought I told you not to be a hero man." Steve said as he sat down beside of the two hugging on the bed before wrapping his arms around them both as well, barring his face into Eddie's hair.

"You know how well I listen to rules Harrington." Eddie chuckled as he moved so one of his arms were wrapped around Steve while the other stayed around Dustin.

"Well don't ever be a hero again if it means you almost die okay?" Dustin piped in as he rested his head on Eddie's shoulders and Steve's chest.

"Your little family is so adorable guys." Robin said with a little smile when she saw both Eddie and Steve blush.

"I agree." Nancy said before Johnathan wrapped his arms around her waist, bringing her closer to him; Nancy grabbing Robin's hand and pulling her closer as well.

"Me too." Dustin agreed, having Steve and Eddie smile down at him.

***Another day later so we're now at the "two days later" point in the actual show***

"Breaking news, the supposed murderer Eddie Munson has just been cleared of all suspicion of murder earlier today. Apparently the Hellfire club at Hawkins Highschool isn't a satanic club, but instead a club to play D.N.D., a fantasy game." A news reporter said over live television.

"Looks like Dustin and them were telling the truth about that Hellfire club honey." Mike's father said as he pointed to the t.v..

"I knew they wouldn't be caught up with murderers!" Mike's mother replied with a smile as she continued to pack boxes.

"Eddie?" Wayne asked when he saw his nephew all bandaged up, walking towards him.

"Hey man." Eddie chuckled as he scratched the back of his head, nervous as to how his uncle would react to seeing him again after all of the shit that's happened.

Instead of saying anything his uncle pulled him into a hug, grabbing the back of his head with his hand and putting it against his shoulder.

Eddie hugged back quickly as he felt his shoulder grow wet with his uncles tears.

"I thought I had lost you." Wayne whispered only loud enough for Eddie to hear.

"I'm sorry." Eddie whispered back as he looked up from his uncle's shoulder, only to lock eyes with Steve who smiled at him from the clothes section he was working on.

The two pulled out of the hug but Wayne kept him at arms length.

"Your grounded until you gain enough money to move out and go to your own house and your fucking married you hear me?" He stated sternly making Eddie smile.

"I hear you." Eddie chuckled making Wayne nod.

He gave him one last pat on the shoulder before letting him walk over to Dustin and Steve who were now both working on sorting the clothing.

"Hey guys." He said as he walked up to them, getting two large smiles in return.

"Hey man, be careful or someone will make you join us or do something different all together." Steve said before looking slightly behind Eddie to see Robin making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with her old crush.

"Aww look at her, she's all grown up now." He said confusing the other two before they looked over and saw what was happening.

"Ah young love." Eddie joked, having picked up on Robin being gay forever ago thanks to his gaydar.

The other two laughed in agreement.

They all eventually finnished working on the clothes before they saw everyone leaving the building for some reason, all of them deciding to check it out on their own as well.

Once they got outside they saw something falling from the sky, the red and grey sky...

Sorry not sorry, I couldn't let that be how Eddie died so I came up with my own ending where he DOESN'T die & is instead gay w/ Steve and happy with their son Dustin♡

Also I had to re-watch his death scene to get the lines and when I tell you I almost balled again 😭
