This one is going to be a roller coaster of emotions so I'm warning you now!

This is also inspired by a tiktok I saw by @noodles_and_tea so go and follow them if you have tiktok! (But it's merged w/ a dream I had last night as well)

Everyone was at Hawkins highschool for a Halloween party, everyone was dressed up in costume and looked like they were having fun... well everyone but Mike.

"Max, what's happening? Isn't Hawkins being destroyed right now?" Mike asked when he saw the redhead dressed as a stator girl.

"I don't know, I'm just rolling with it." Max replied with a laugh before rolling off on her skateboard, people moving out of the way for her.

"Wh-" Mike began to question when he felt someone tug at his sleve.

"Hey Mike." Will asked making Mike look down at him.

"Yeah Will?" He asked, all previous thoughts lost.

"I don't know what's happening and I'm scared, my neck hurts and the pains only spreading to the rest of my body. Can I stay with you please?" Will asked, it looked like he was holding back tears and that broke Mike's heart.

"Of course you can stay with me, though I don't know what's happening either." Mike answered as he began to move his free hand to cup Will's face, only to have it be held by another person.

"I see you boys have decided to fratenise with out us!" Dustin said as he linked his hand with Mike's.

"We're wounded!" Lucas added as he held onto Will's hand, Mike and Will holding each others other hands.

"Oh, um sorry guys. I didn't see you earlier." Will appoligised as an embarrassed blush crossed his face.

Dustin and Lucas were dressed as Ghostbusters again, confusing the other two. Why would they dress as the same thing again?

"It's okay, we were only going to say hello before going to Eddie." Dusin said with a smile before letting go of Mike's hand and instead grabbing Lucas's hand before they both walked off to where they assumed Eddie was.

"Isn't the dude named Eddie dead?" Will asked making tears prick at Mike's eyes.

"Y-yeah, they said he was dead so I don't know where their going." Mike answered before adding, "I saw Max here too, wasn't she in a coma?"

Before Will could respond, he was snatched away from Mike by an aggressive force.

The whole party changed to focus mostly on one person... well can you even call him a person anymore?

It was Vecna, the glow of the room was now red and the only people Mike could see was Vecna and the people he was holding.

"Let Will go!" Mike yelled at the evil red thing that was once human.

"M-mike" Will choked out as Vecna's vines wrapped themselves around his throat and body.

"Don't you fucking dare hurt him! Let him go you bitch!" Mike yelled before grabbing a chair and hitting Vecna with it.

The chair shattered before it could even reach him.

"Will? Don't hurt Will? Oh Mike... you have some explaining to do." Vecna laughed before shoving Jane in his face.

"What about her? Your girlfriend! You're just going to leave her to die?" Vecan asked as he tightened the vines around her neck as well making her have to gasp for air.

"M-mike... help me!" Jane choked out through gasps of breath.

Mike watched in horror as she was pulled out of his reach.

"Use your powers! El please! You can save yourself, I have to save Will!" Mike yelled, tears falling from his eyes as he watched both of the people he loves get tortured; knowing that he couldn't do much of anything to help.

"Oh no, her powers won't work here... not now at least. She's done for, just like little Will over here." Vecna stated as he waved Will infront of Mike's face.

Right once Will was in arms reach Mike began trying to release the vines around his neck and help him escape.

"Helping your friend out over your girlfriend? You didn't move a muscle when she was put infront of you yet there you were trying to help Will escape almost instantly." Vecna commented as he pulled Will back out of Mike's arms.

"Are you sure your dating the right one? Are you sure you love her? Are you sure you even like her?" Vecna questioned as he hung both kids upside down so all of the blood would rush to their heads.

"Will!" Mike yelled as he attempted to move over to help Will flip back over to normal, only to be stopped by Vecna.

"Wow, well I guess if you don't love her then you don't need her anymore. I'll take care of her for you then." Vecna said with a deep chuckle before he moved his vine up Jane's neck and around her face.

A loud 'SNAP' could be heard before El's went completely lymp.

"NO! EL/JANE!" Mike and Will screamed at the same time, Will's sounding much more muffled then Mike's.

"Oh? I thought you loved Will, not Eleven." Vecna quipt as he flipped Will around again so he was up normal, though he didn't move the vines from around his neck.

"I do! That's not the point! I don't want El dead either!" Mike yelled as tears pored from his eyes now, Will's tears falling as well.

Before anything else could happen Mike was shook awake.

"Mike! Wake up!" Will yelled as he shook Mike's shoulders.

Mike jolted awake in a cold sweat, he had tears falling from his face and his throat was sore so he had probably yelled something earlier.

"Will!" Mike exclaimed as soon as he saw the boy.

He quickly embraced him into a tight hug, pulling him as close as possible.

Will was shocked but didn't comment on it because it was all probably just from the nightmare the poor boy had.

So instead he hugged Mike back and allowed himself to be pulled closer.

"Is El okay?!" Mike asked suddenly though he didn't pull out of their hug.

"Yeah, Jane's in her room asleep. We were all asleep until I heard you yelling 'no' and 'stop' a lot." Will answered, feeling Mike sigh in relief at the answer.

"I'm sorry I woke you up but thank you for waking me up." Mike mumbled as he nuzzled his head into the crook of Will's neck.

Will blushed at that but once again didn't say anything about it.

"Do you want to talk about your nightmare or no? I think someone said that if you talk about it then it will make you feel better but if you don't want to then that's perfectly okay too." Will asked as he began to play with some of Mike's curls.

"Maybe later, right now I just need to keep reassuring myself that it wasn't real." Mike answered as his head leaned into Will's hand.

Will smiled at the reaction he got with just playing with his hair.

"Okay." He replied as he continued to play with Mike's hair; Mike's arms still wrapped tightly around his torso in a comforting embrace.

The two stayed cuddled up for the rest of the night, eventually falling asleep in each other's embrace.

The next day Mike broke up with El, explaining his true feelings for Will to her and repeatedly appoligiseing.

She took it really well and supported him in trying to get with Will, knowing that he's had a crush on Mike for forever now.

"I don't think I need to be in a relationship now anyway, I think I need to focus on my powers and saving the world right now. So go and get Will! If you don't then I'll use my powers against you and do... something!" Jane attempted to threaten though she didn't know what to threaten Mike with.

"Really?" Mike asked seeing as this was starting to sound too good to be true.

"Yes really! I mean it! Go and tell him we broke up and then in a few days confess to him! Or confess now, we don't know how much longer we're going to be alive for!" Jane replied with an encouraging smile.

"Okay! Thank you El, and I'm sorry again." Mike said with his own smile before leaving to go and confess to Will.

"Will!" Mike said as he slid into Will's bedroom, his socks sliding against the hard wood flooring.

"Yes Mike?" Will asked as he watched Mike almost fall over before catching himself.

"I just broke up with El. She said I should tell you my true feelings so I'm going to." Mike said, pausing for a second to let Will take that much information in.

A blush dusted his face as he nodded, signaling for Mike to continue.

"Okay, so when you went missing I was a mess. I think the only reason why I fell for El was because at first I thought she was a guy and then she had powers and I thought that was cool as Hell. Plus she could help us find you and that's still what I wanted most." Mike began to ramble on about how he always loved Will but didn't realize it until he really thought about it and had that nightmare.

By the end of his ramble, both boys were blushing heavily and very flustured.

"So after all of that, I realized that... I love you, not El." Mike admitted making Will's eyes widen.

The only time Mike ever told Jane he loved her was in life or death situations, now he had just told him that and they were just in the house where nothing was happening.

"I-" Will began only to be cut off by Mike.

"If you don't feel the same way though then please just forget I said anything and I'll g-" Now it was Mike's turn to be cut off as Will moved over to him, quickly enveloping him into a hug.

"I do feel the same way, I've liked you ever since I was ten. I love you too." Will admitted as Mike hugged him back.

"Then will you be my boyfriend?" Mike asked as they both pulled away slightly from one another, only enough to see each others faces.

"Yes!" Will answered as he rested his forehead against Mike's.

"May I?" Mike asked as he leaned in a little more, his breath fanning against Will's lips.

Instead of verbally responding, Will connected their lips together into their first kiss.

Mike's lips were a bit chaped and Will's were slightly torn from him biting at them when he was nervous but the kiss was still perfect to them.

It was calm and sweet and full of nothing but love.

"Hey the door needs to be-" Hopper paused as he walked into the room after El informed him on everything that had happened.

Both boys jumped apart with dark blushes covering their faces.

"Door stays three inches open! Stop dating my damn kids Weeler!" He fussed at Mike before turning to Will.

"If he does anything to hurt you in any way then tell me. I'm a cop, I can get away with anything I want to." Hopper stated the first half to Will and the last half to Mike with a warning glare before he left the room, keeping the door three inches open when he left.

"Well... other then the ominous death threat I think that went pretty well." Mike laughed making Will laugh as well.

They came out to the rest of the group and everyone accepted them, Robin even welcomed them to the 'gay club'.
