The next day

The boys stood at the cliff shooting loogies to see who would go first when "we'll go!"they heard from behind "if y'all want to be wusses"el said el takes off her dress leaving her in her underwear and bra and Will in his boxers then Beverly came "are they being sissy's?"she asks el "yeah" then bev came over and grabbed her hand and began running with her and they both jumped off the cliff "what the frick!"Richie exclaimed then will ran and jumped off "ah man! We just got showed off by two girls!"Richie said

"Do we have to do that now?"stan asked "yes"eddie said wearily they all jumped one by one landing in the water and began to have a lot of fun like chicken fights,slashing each other

Bill and el stood a little away from the rest as they watched their friends have fun they looked at each other and smiled wow...bill really was head over heels for jane Ellie Byers...

They also managed to find a turtle

They got out and got back onto the cliff where bev and el layed on towels and the losers (minus will because he's gay like Richie) stared at the girls while music played they stared for a while till "y'all do know me and el have a older brother who is very overprotective of her and will kick you into next week if he finds out your staring at her like that"Will said smirking "I've got black mail"he muttered

Then the girls look over and the boys try and fail to look none sclont then Richie began to be annoying again "news flash Ben schools out for summer!"he said in a fake reporter voice and began going through his backpack "oh that? That's not school stuff"Ben said then he pulled out a post card "who sent you this!?"he asked "no one!"Ben snatched the post card out of his hand then Richie grabbed a black folder from his back pack "what's with the history project?"eddie asked

"Oh well when I first moved here I didn't really have anyone to hang out with unlike Will and el I didn't meet anybody who wanted to hang out so I just started spending time in the library"Ben told them "you went to the library?"Richie asked "I like the library"Will said "on purpose?" Then bev and el got up and walked over "we wanna see"bev said el and bev walk over and bev sat next to bill while el sat in front of him

It was like a dream coming true two really pretty girls sitting so close to him but what sucks is that one of the pretty girls brother is watching him like a hawk not to mention she has another brother at home and a whole clan of people who love and Will protect her back home!

Ben comments on her hair "oh thanks Ben"l they passed it back to Richie "why is it a bunch of murders of missing kids?"he asked el and will froze dead "Derry isn't like any town I've ever been in"he said "try Hawkins"will muttered everyone looked at him but el elbows him "will!"she hissed They decided not to press on the matter of Hawkins "I did a study once and it turns out people die 6 times the national average"Ben said

"You read that?"bev asked "and that's just grown ups the kids are worse way way worse"he said "I've got more stuff if you want to see it"Ben said suddenly el sprang up and grabbed her stuff "no no! I'm going home! I'm tired of talking about dead kids!"el said angrily and began walking off while putting her dress on "el..Ellie!"will yelled after her before putting his pants on "no will! Kids who medle in the wrong sorts of things get themselves hurt everyone knows that!"she said before in a low wisper "you and me expecially"she wispered but everyone heard they were about to comment when "fine! Fine!"el agrees "I'll go look at some dead kids"

They put their clothes on and biked and skated to bens house.

They walked over the yard and into the house "if mama finds out we were here without her  permission we will be grounded"el said she held onto wills arm bill wished it was him she was hanging off of

They walked into bens room whos walls were covered in old news papers "whoa wow!"Richie said "cool right?" El shook her head rapidly "yeah no no nothing cool"Richie said sarcastically they looked and talked about beavers Richie made a inappropriate joke that didn't make sense to el she walked over to bill and stood next to him "old Derry.."she murmured

A couple hours pasted and everyone went home and when el went home she was not expecting what she was about to see
