CHAPTER VI

By the time Hongjoong reached home, it was already past 10:30 p.m. His promise of coming back home within ten had already been broken and he was afraid that his mother might scold him. He was after all 'the good boy' of his family.
As he tip toed inside the garden through the gate, he thoroughly debated upon the fact that whether he should use the front door or back. Front door hell no! It would be nothing but a walk straight into the Erebus. Finally, he chose the back door. As he quietly shut the door, he heaved a sigh of relief, a smile decorating his lips.
"Hah no one caught me!"
"Yeah sure!"
Hongjoong yelped at the sudden voice and spun around, his face turning pale, only to face his half brother right at his nose. Wooyoung was standing in front of him, his hands folded, posture erect and his eyes boring holes into Hongjoong's poor soul.
And it was at that moment Hongjoong knew...he fucked up.
"Joong," Wooyoung spoke, his voice deepening with a bit of anger mingled in it, covering the concern he was actually feeling,"I told you to return by ten, didn't I?"
"Y-Yeah," Hongjoong replied meekly, scratching the back of his head. Even though they were of the same age, whenever he did something wrong, which was almost rare and Wooyoung took the lead of scolding him in a serious manner, Hongjoong couldn't help but lower his head down and bear all the dressing down instead of arguing back.
"And what time is it now?"
"Woo, please this time. Don't tell mom..."
"You're lucky she fell asleep, you dumbass," Wooyoung spat, rolling his eyes, "She would have killed you!"
"Ahh Woo! C'mon!" Hongjoong insisted, grabbing his brother's hand and looking at him with his pleading, puppy eyes, "It's actually good you know. After all she won't scold me, only if you-"
"Your lucky that I won't complain to her this time," Wooyoung scoffed, pulling his hand away from Hongjoong's grip, "But only this time Joong. There will be no next time."
"I promise, Woo, this will not repeat," pledged Hongjoong.
"Hope so. Just know this, I'm sacrificing my chocolate bar for you."
"Okie-Wait-What?"
"Oh, mom said that if I complained to her about you doing something nasty or not abiding by rules, then she would gimme a choco bar!" Wooyoung grinned like a five year old.
Hongjoong was dumbstruck.
"Err...really? But she didn't tell anything about this to me if you did the same-"
"'Cause I don't."
Hongjoong stared.
"Don't do that," Wooyoung pointed at his eyes, "Otherwise I'll tell mom-"
"Woo please not this time-"
"Yahh yahh relax relax. I was joking! I said I won't tell her a word."
"Yah that's mah bro!" Hongjoong exclaimed as he slowly walked in the dark to reach the stairs, trying to make the least noises possible. As they ventured in the dark, and climbed up the stairs, and finally reached their room, Wooyoung quickly bombarded him with a million questions.
"Soooo....what happened?"
"Woo, I thought I had already told you everything over the phone," Hongjoong replied as he walked into their room and flung himself on his bed.
"Let's say I was deaf at that moment," Wooyoung replied, as he sat beside him on the bed, "C'mon pleaseeee Joongieeee! Tell me everything....unless I-"
"God Woo!" Hongjoong sprang up, looking at a giggling Wooyoung with an annoyed face, "You're fucking impossible!"
"Language bro!" Wooyoung warned, "Now begin."
After Hongjoong had finally finished giving a brief summary of whatever happened, Wooyoung couldn't believe his ears. His brother, his innocent, honey bunch sugar plum plumpy-umpy-umpkin sweetie pie cuppy cake brother, literally saved a 'hot' guy after being hurt by some shady people? Like...HIS OWN BROTHER KIM HONGJOONG?
"Joong I swear-"
"I know you're not believing me-" Hongjoong sighed.
"No no. It's not that. It's just," Wooyoung paused, "You're brave."
"Really?"
"You know what, not being rude but speaking facts, I would have never gone to save that guy even though he bled to death."
"Oh...Wait! What?"
"Yepp. I don't like involving myself in shady shits. And now, if you don't want to be late for school tomorrow, then GET YOUR ASS UP WASH UP GRAB DINNER AND GO TO BED!"
Hongjoong reluctantly dragged himself into the washroom, because all he wanted at that moment was sleep. After a warm shower, he changed and came back to his bed. He didn't feel hungry so he decided to skip dinner that night.
He wanted to tell his brother about why he went to that extent to save the guy but as he came out of the shower, he saw Wooyoung already asleep on his bed.
"Maybe another day," Hongjoong whispered, smiling at his brother's sleeping face, so beautiful. Carefully, he climbed into his bed, trying to be as quiet as possible, as to not wake him up. As he shut the lamps off and wrapped himself up in his blanket, a hundred thoughts jammed his brains once again. He knew he couldn't get them out, but they were persistent. Slowly, his eyes gave up and he finally shut his eyes, drowning himself in his dreamland.
Who is he actually?
What was he doing there with those men?
Why did those men hurt him?
How is he now?

"KIM FUCKING HONGJOOOOONGG!"
Hongjoong visibly shook as he quickly rubbed his eyes and blinked several times. He looked around his surroundings like a confused puppy, and finally realised that he was in his classroom and their classes were about to begin. Two weeks had passed and Hongjoong was still stuck with his thoughts.
"I swear to God, Joong, I'll really kill you someday," Yunho growled, looking at him.
"Yeah Yun, he's like this at home too," Wooyoung complained, resting his chin on his palm, looking bored.
"What the fuck is wrong with you, huh?" Yunho questioned.
"Err...n-nothing...just thinking...."
"About?"
"Uhh...ducks!"
"Wow what the fuck."
"CLASS!"
Hongjoong whispered a thousand 'thank you's' to their class teacher, who indirectly saved him from further questions. He once again rubbed his eyes, stretched his hands and legs and straightened himself up in order to get ready for another 'the same old shit but a different day'.
"So..." the class teacher began, her lipstick stained lips stretching in a not so pleasant smile, "Today we have a new student joining us. I hope you all take good care of him. Come in darling."
"Duh!" Some groaned.
"In the middle of the year?" Some students gossiped, "Is that even allowed?"
"Dunno."
"Do you think-"
"Hey! Hey! Look!"
All eyes were fixed on the door in an unsettled anticipation. Seconds later the new student walked in. And that was where Hongjoong was a 100% sure...he was dead.
Dark, raven hair pushed backwards
with only a few strands mingled with sweat falling on his forehead, sharp, gorgeous eyes, a chiselled nose and thin, red lips, exquisitely carved on an extremely handsome face, beauty glistening in every nook and corner of his visage. His eyes, his smile, oh, so gorgeous, so etheral. He looks so handsome in his school uniform. That undying aura of a bad, bad boy.
"It's not going to be 'same old shit but a different day' after all," Hongjoong whispered to himself in slight despair, and slight excitement.
The new student walked and stood in front of the teacher. Pairs of eyes from every corner of the class were gleaming at this boy, especially the feminine ones. Hushed voices and low giggles were audible. The boy shrugged and scoffed, pushing his hair back, not paying any heed to the attention he was receiving.
"Please introduce yourself, dear," The teacher smiled at him.
The boy looked towards the class. His sharp green eyes scurried through the wards, as if scanning their faces. He slightly smirked, and with a swift disinterest, shrugged his shoulders and finally spoke, in a deep husky voice,
"Call me Park and I hope-"
"Park what?" Someone interrupted him, "What's your name? Don't expect us to call you by your las-"
"Who gave you the permission to interrupt me when I am speaking?" The deep voice exclaimed dominance. That handsome face transformed into an extremely scary one, as the new student stared daggers at the one who dared to interrupt him. This reaction of his scared him, not only that one student, but almost everyone in the room. A look, a personality, a presence that clearly spoke Don't mess with me or else die.
"I am Park," he returned to his introduction, and with another wrathful look at the class, he said, "And I ask you all to...stay away from me...for your own good."
Within a second, class went quiet. No one could believe what they had just heard, not even Hongjoong. The first thing he couldn't believe was the 'Park' guy being in the same class as he was. He assumed that he was his hyung, as he was friends (or something) with Chan hyung. The raven haired youth smirked harder, and lazily went and sat down in an empty space. Classes resumed, but Hongjoong was still lost in his thoughts.
"Hey, pretty boy."
Hongjoong yelped and quickly looked to the source of the voice, which was to his right.
What the fuck?
Park sitting next to....ME???
-------------------------
Finally they are in the same class!
What do ya'll anticipate next?
Do lemme know, lovelies.
Adios
