"Hey mom." I said as I walked into the living room. She was sitting on the couch watching tv.

"Hey, how was school?" She asked.

"Fine." I said before rushing out of the room towards the kitchen.

I had to leave, before my mom started asking me a lot more questions that I really did not feel like answering.

I opened the cabinet and pulled out a pack of Oreos; yum, my favorite.

Today was Friday so I had two long, glorious days of not getting judged or dealing with any of Valerie's bullshit.

God, I love the weekends <3 :)

Sportsfordays: how was your day my love?

thatnerd66: okay I guess.

Sportsfordays: why, what happened?

thatnerd66: someone stole my iced tea :(

Sportsfordays: who? I'll beat them up for you.

thatnerd66: lol it's okay you don't have to.

Sportsfordays: I want to though

thatnerd66: you want to beat someone up?

Sportsfordays: if they hurt you of course.

thatnerd66: and what if it was a girl?

Sportsfordays: then sadly, that's a different story.

thatnerd66: so you would beat a guy up if he simply stole my drink?

Sportsfordays: hell yea, why not?

thatnerd66: well that says something about you.

*ding*

Ashley 💞: are you busy tomorrow?

Ashley 💞: wait of course you're not lol

Me: wow that was bitchy

Ashley 💞: lol sorry.

Me: but I'm not busy. Why?

Ashley 💞: you want to come over?

Ashley 💞: it'll be fun :)

Me: yeah sure what time.

Ashley💞: anywhere around 2

Ashley 💞: see you then my love <3

Me: lol bye Ash

Ashley 💞: byeee

I went back to kik to see if he texted back.

Wow. He left me on read. I'll remember that.

"So what do you want to do?" I asked Ashley. We were at her house chilling on her couch waiting for the pizza to arrive.

"Let's figure that out when the pizza gets here because I can't think straight on an empty stomach." She said rubbing her belly.

"Okay so then let's just watch a movie."

"Whatever floats your boat." She said cheerfully.

I took the remote and surfed through the movie channels.

"Let's watch this." Ashley said pointing at the t.v.

"Oh my god, I love this movie!" I exclaimed.

It was Let's Be Cops. That movie is just too funny.

Ding Dong

"Yess the pizza's here!" Ashley said jumping up from her seat. She grabbed the money and opened the door.

there was a pause;

"Oh its just you."  she said before walking back into the living room.

Behind her was Alec who was walking towards us.

"Nice to see you too." He said.

"Ugh sorry, we've been waiting for the pizza for awhile now and I'm hungry." Ashley said before sitting on the island.

"Carter! In here!" Alex yelled towards the door.

Carter walked in with a pizza box on his head beaming at us.

"This pizza?" Alec said pointing to the box.

Before anyone could say anything Ash ran up to Carter and grabbed the pizza box then sat next to me on the couch.

She grabbed a slice and stuffed her face in.

"You're welcome." Carter said with his hands up.

"For what? We ordered the pizza." Ashley said with her mouth full.

"We paid." Alec said before both of them sat down on the couch across from ours.

"Oh." Ashley said looking up at them. "Thank you." she said with pizza still in her mouth.

"Ugh I thought girls were supposed to have manners." Carter said "Be like Jess and eat correctly."

I don't know why but I stared blushing like crazy. Maybe it was the fact that the Carter noticed me.

I mean, I guess he does kind of notice me. Chase,Carter, and Alec are really close with Ash. One of their moms' were close with Ash's mom and they all became friends. But I can't remember who she met first.

"Well I'm sorry, I was really really hungry and I'm with friends so I don't need to use my manners. Asshole." Ashley simply said.

"Yeah sure." Carter said. "So what do you ladies plan on doing this fine day."

"Well we're.." Ashley said before being interrupted.

"I was talking to Jess." Carter said looking at me with a smile.

"Uh I don't really know actually." I said taking a slice out of the box.

Carter let out a soft chuckle.

"Wow she gets so cute when she's nervous." Carter said turning to Alec.

"Yeah I like it." Alec responded looking at me.

Well this is really awkward I thought as I continued to eat my pizza.

"Look she even has a cute blush." Carter added.

Shit I didn't even notice.

"Okay boys calm yourselves ." Ashley said. She got up and went to fridge where she grabbed herself a bottle of water.

"Don't worry we're calm." Alec said glancing over at me.

"Where is Chase?" Ashley asked.

"Detention." Alec responded. "Why?"

"He's the only person I know that can actually tame you two down."Ashley said after taking a seat on the island.

"For the last time we're calm." Alec stressed.

"Anyways I'm out of here. I mean someone has to get Chase from the school." Carter said before standing up and walking towards the door.

"Alec you coming?"

"Nah I'll stay here and hang out with the girls" Alec said before getting up and sitting in the spot where Ashley sat.

They must think I'm so weird for just sitting and not saying anything. I even feel like a creep.

"Bye Carter." Ashley yelled before he left.

Carter waved bye and smirked at me.

Literally the most beautifulest sight. Ever.

"Shit. My phone died." Ashley said "Ugh I'll be right back you two."

She went towards the stairs but stopped and turned around "Alec behave yourself. " she said lowering her eyes. Then she was gone.

"So Jess..." Alec started before trailing off. Was he nervous?

"Uh..yeah?" I responded.

"Um...uh...you have nice shoes." Alec said with a really weird big smiling.

I looked down at me feet to my black and white converse which were pretty worn out.

I looked up at him and out of nowhere we bursted out laughing.

"Oh my god that was...I'm sorry about that. I don't even no where that came from." Alec said chuckling lightly.

"Yeah.." I said trailing off. What the hell was taking Ash so long I really can't deal with awkward moments.

"Okay I was actually going to tell you something important but you....." He was cut off by Ashley coming down the stairs.

"Sorry guys I had to pee." She said smiling back at us. She shooed Alec away and then sat back in her original seat.

"Okay so what should we do now."she said looking at both of us.

"I got to go." Alec said walking straight towards the door."Bye."

Ashley looked over at me.
"What the hell happened while I was gone? Oh and don't tell me he tried to kiss you and you rejected him because if you did I'll kick..." I stopped her before she got all crazy.

"No! Nothing like that happened. I don't even know what made him like that." I said.

"Well that's weird." Ashley said grabbing more pizza and playing the movie. 

Yeah, it was weird and now I can't stop thinking about what he wanted to tell me.
