Chapter 3- A big surprise

Mystery point-of-view: My tracker/communicator indicated that, this is shadow the hedgehog's daughter, by blood. i will make shadow the hedgehog pay. i went to my secret hideout in the woods. i placed thier little girl on a table and reached for my gun. "let's just get this over with". i said as i held the gun to the baby's head. i was about to pull the trigger. "goodbye, little infant". Then suddenly, the baby looked at me, with a smiling face. she looked calm, peaceful and sweet. i started shaking. (don't give in; don't.........give in). she then giggled and touched my hand. i immediately dropped the gun, then backed away. (she reminds me so much of maria). "i just........can't do it". "if i'm gonna get revenge, i have to go after the actual murderer". "i must have shadow the hedgehog". "and i know the perfect plan to get him". i smiled evilly and began laughing as i put thier baby in a changing tube, that i created. i then pulled the lever. "let's see what he'll do now".   Normal point-of-view: "And that's what happened". i explained everything to the chaotix, and we all finally got on the same page. "don't worry sophie, will get everything taken care of". spoke espio. i then breathed with relieve. (thank goodness for the chaotix). As the Chaotix were gathering up information, i noticed something in the distance, in the woods. "i'll be right back". i said heading to the woods. "Woah, woah, woah". said the voice of shadow, as he grabbed my hand. "i don't want you wondering off alone like that without telling me". "what are you, my dad"? i joked. "i'm serious sophie". "last time you went out alone; or the several times you went out alone, you got severly hurt".    "i can handle myself shadow, now let me go". i tugged. "fine". he then let me go. "But i'm coming with you, whether you like it or not". (oh great, here comes mister stick in the mud, or mister worry his butt off). we both then headed in the woods, farther and deeper. we saw a figure. "get behind me". "but, shadow.....".  "Just do it". he said coldly. i did what i was told and got behind him. the figure came closer. "daddy, it's me". said the figure. (wait, daddy?) the figure came out from the shadows and we saw her. (it can't be). "Who are you?!? asked shadow. (as if he didn't know). "it's me, maria". Shadow looked frightened. "no, it can't be. "you were a baby". i said shocked. "yeah, but the man who kidnapped me, turned me older". "i'm now 12".   (me and shadow are now really confused. why would he turn her older?) " i can take you to him if you like"? "no maria, it's too dangerous". i said worriedsome. 'oh lighten up mom, i'm the daughter of two great, strong parents". "i'll be fine". "now, come on, it's this way". as maria headed into the direction of the kidnapper, i stopped shadow. "shadow, i think this is a trap". "i think your insane, this our daughter, sophie". "do you not trust your own daughter"? "shadow, i  think the kidnapper may have fooled her into leading us into a trap". "your crazy". i then glared at him. "fine, then you go, by yourself". i then pushed him. "fine, and i'll prove you wrong". shadow then pushed me to the ground. "FINE"! I yelled. "FINE"! he yelled and stomped away. (he's gonna lead himeself into a heap of trouble).
