It took a while to get us all packed into out rooms and I guess I was stuck with a girl from a junior grade, but it was okay cause I didn't really care about the stupid field trip.
The ride from willfont High School was long and devastating.  Why did mum even go behind my back to sign me up 'ugh' .

I laid on my already made bed , out of boredom I started counting sheep's till the sound of coach Brownson's repulsive voice came out from an old speaker at the right end of the room ceiling.

"Hello there campers. Its been a long trip here to crimson camp , I bet non of y'all are as exhausted as me" he paused .

'Yeah right ' I snorted

"So around 7:35 ,we are going to have dinner in a circle of warm camp fire" he stopped
"And yeah , don't expect desert cause you ain't in your mama's house" then the speaker went off.

After a few minutes of trying to get some sleep , I couldn't. I decided to have a little walk and some exploring.
At first I took small steps, then big steps just looking at my feet and playing with my fingers . the environment wasn't that bad , I  bet the earth from this side was enjoying the sun

I walked over to a lake and just stood there . watching the fishes jump in and out made me smile a little . I sighted a fishing boat at the far end of the lake " some people might just have fun " I whispered to myself and began my journey.

I kept on walking straight till I noticed a path that had tree's to the left and right side of it , I decided to follow the path

Going further the trees began to look bigger and the sun shun brightly at the tree tops.
I stopped on my track when I saw a weird willow tree that looked like it had a wrinkled face on it , like that one in Pocahontas. It really freaked me out.

I walked further, watching the birds in the sky as I took average steps until I heard the sound of a monkey, I loved monkeys . I decided to check the tree which it was on and try to communicate with it . my cousins Margery and Ingrid usually did it and I picked a few things from them . I wish I was at their place for summer.

I followed the sound of the monkey and it led me to an oak tree at the right of the path , first of I looked forward and discovered I still had a long way to go if I wanted to see where the path led to.

The monkey was nibbling on an oak from the tree huh , this was weird , I never heard monkey ate oak and I knew they didn't because Rio , my little Indian monkey never showed any interest to oaks or nuts . I took a step forward to get a better view , I made different stupid sounds just to get the attention of it. "Chu!" I finally yelled and it turned around .
"Holy mother of cactus" I moved backwards , I'm not sure if that was a monkey , it was the strangest thing I'd ever seen.
I moved back again , it had three eyes any fangs at each end of it's mouth . it snarled at me and I moved back again.

"Ouch" a large stone hit my ankle and I tried to stable myself

"Sorry" a voice came from behind me , helping me stable myself by holding my shoulders.

I turned around to see a tall guy with blonde short hair , he had this "I'm 18" look and obviously I had this "I'm turning 17" look ha!

"Thanks " I said as I wiggled my shoulders from his hand.
I turned around to face him and I noticed his Jade eyes , no electric  green eyes.

"Strange right " he said when he noticed me staring at his eyes.

"Uh yeah" I said
"Very weird monkey" I added

"I freaked out when I saw it from behind you" he gave a small smile... Flirt much

"Does such exist?" I asked and he chuckled

"I don't know , first time of view and hey I'm Drake" he smiled and stretched out his arm to me

"Holly" I replied taking his hand "Holly Kent" I added

"So um... What grade are you in" he asked as we turned back to where I was coming from

"Grade 11" I said flatly, he didn't look like someone I knew from school

"Cool. I'm from grade 12 he said placing his hands in his pocket and gave a small smile as he turned to me , revealing his dimple which was weird but cute .

We kept on walking and talking about why camping sucks and all . I didn't notice the sun had set till it became dark in an instant . I pulled out my lefthand from my pocket when we were near the camp fire to check my time. 7:55

" nice watch " he said looking at my wrist. "I'm a very huge fan of Coraso fashion and antiques like this one " he said and raised his wrist to my face .
  I turned his wrist to get a better view of the watch "cool" I said after I examined it , it was the real deal .

My eyes moved to two black band lines above his wrists that had writings , they could be mistaken for a tattoo

"Its nothing " he flinched when he saw my expression and put his hand into his pocket.

"Drake" a more masculine voice called out immediately and we turned.

I could see resemblances , a deep resemblance. They were twins

"Hey " one of the said as I was now confused cause they stood together.

"Uh hi?" I said not hiding the confusion in my voice and he chuckled.

"I'm Dylan" he stretched out a hand and I gave back a quick handshake. I turned to look at the other one , Drake but his gaze was at the direction we came from .

I could now tell the difference a little . although they both had green eyes and tanned skin , blonde hair and above six feet height . Dylan had a more mature face and a natural smile  , Drake had a mild face and a scowl that would make you worry about him .

"Are you listening " Dylan said and I turned my attention  from Drake to him , I felt Drake turn as well.

"No , umm sorry . too much to think of " I gave a silly grin .

"That's OK" he smiled
"I just wanted to know if that girl over there was waiting for you because she looks really pissed " he said pointing to his right .

Nora! Oh my god why did Nora have to come for this camp too.

"Yeah " I said as I walked away from them to her . some space from the attractive twins

"Hey! Nora!" I gave the best fake smile as I walked towards her and her frown melted.

"What where doing over there with them!" She said emphasizing on the 'them'. She came closer and placed her palms on my shoulders, I was tall yes but she was a bit taller than me.

"But..." I was about to complain when she cut me off with my mum talk.

"...you know your mum warned"
Nora was supposed to be like an elder sister to me , so my mum said . but she ended up being attracted to me and I'm not , so she uses my mum as every opportunity to talk to me about it , my mum doesn't even know.

"Yeah yeah I know , I wasn't doing anything wrong " I said flatly . "its not wrong to make friends is it " I said rolling my eye's

"Okay okay I'm just trying to show that I care " she placed both hands in my face and came closer. God no

"No Nora, not that kind of care" I said and slapped down her hands and made more space between us . "I'm not into this " I said pointing a finger at her then at me .

"I'm sorry " she said holding her mouth. " I can't just help it " she looked to the ground and began playing with her fingers

"Well you have to " I said and walked away from her , heading to the circle.

I lost my appetite when a kid beside me kept on making sounds as he chewed. I turned to my left and then to my right still seated on the wooden stool given to us as chairs . I searched for the nearby bush to dump my food into it. I sighted a little goose berry bush and walked to it . I was about dumping the food into it when a puppy poked its head out of the bush , so cute , at least it could eat that . I put my plate down and made an indication so the pup could know I meant for it to eat the food without any harm. For a while it seemed scared , but it started coming closer till its four paws were now in view.

Holy heavens , I think I was loud cause IT ran away with it's rabbit tail bouncing behind it. A dog with a rabbit tail "can things get any worse " I said to myself . I was beginning to think I was hallucinating . I forgot I was squatting , I stood up  , dumped my food into the bush and walked as quick as possible back to the circle.
