Reece couldn't sleep that night, she would be falling asleep to Klaus next door, who frankly she hated right now, Elijah suffering a werewolf bite in the Bayou and Rebekah sleeping next to her because she was afraid, afraid of her own brother. Maybe she was thinking too much of it.

She knows Elijah would be fine, but the thing is why that werewolf is helping Elijah? God, Reece felt stupid... She is Elijah's best friend however Elijah would have wanted her to keep an eye on his little brother and sister.

Maybe she did fall asleep, but it wasn't her usual comfortable sleep. It was the most uncomfortable sleep she may have been in. While she had the state of fear in her mind. Klaus couldn't sleep, with the biting in his mind. Klaus wasn't guilty, he felt stupid but was never guilty. Maybe he went a little too far.

Just maybe he didn't like what he was then.

It was early morn when Hayley and Elijah started to talk again, after he had many delightful dreams. He hated it. He honestly did and he wished his tired eyes would not shut. He was so afraid of his memories. Well it seems like many people slept afraid.

"It's okay. Remind me to annihilate your brother once you're healthy." Hayley smiles at Elijah.

Elijah groans, "Yes, remind me to remind you to get in line."

"It doesn't help that we decided to shack up in a swamp either." Hayley mentions as she looked at Elijah worryingly.

"It's fine, I assure you that Reece is keeping an eye on my siblings, especially Niklaus." Elijah smiled to himself, then turned to look at Hayley.

"Aren't you not somewhat slightly not annoyed that your best friend is not here?"

Elijah frowned, "Yes, of course I am however I know Reece and if anything Reece is probably awake knowing I am here, suffering from my brother's idiotic actions but she does know that I want her to keep on eye on my insufferable siblings' actions."

Hayley nodded as she sat down next to Elijah, who was sweating. She stroked the hair out of his face as Elijah shuts his eyes close.

"Though she wouldn't mind taking an eye of Niklaus, she takes a fancy of him, though she may not admit to it, vice versa with Niklaus but I think Niklaus has noticed his obvious feelings for the younger vampire."

"Well, they balance each other out. She makes him slightly softer and he makes her slightly er well... Less rude?"

"Indeed so."

"Come along, sweetheart."

"Where are we off to now? We have been basically running around. I have to checkups with Rebekah." Reece rolled her eyes, "Do you realise how bitchy Rebekah can get, because oh my god, I do not want to ravish in torture."

"Nonsense, sweetheart! My sister is completely stable right now."

Reece looked at Klaus and glared. Klaus sends her a cheeky smile. Klaus and Reece enters the courtyard of the compound to find Marcel standing and waiting for them.

"Klaus. Reece."

Reece smiles as a greeting which Marcel took meanwhile Klaus, as rude as ever, decides to dismiss the greetings and get straight to the point. Ah, just what Reece likes his men; feisty, straight to the point and great in bed.

"You've been avoiding my calls." Klaus observes as Reece slightly moved closer to him.

Marcel shrugs, "Little pissed off lately."

"Apologies for my behavior can come later. You have something of mine. I want it back."

Marcel pulls out the silver dagger and holds it up, "Sorry, but I can't do that."

He instead holds out the dagger to his side, and Rebekah enters the courtyard and takes it from him. Klaus looks both unamused and suspicious. Reece sighs, but not one of those fed up of sighs  it was those types of sighs that spoke "oh my god."

"Kill me now." Reece started off, "Actually, someone fuck me until I die, Klaus want to do the honour?"

"Reece." Klaus hard cold voice that stated he needed support. Klaus looked at his adopted son and sister, "What is this?"

"Apologies for your behavior? You don't apologize, Nik. You just act. I've had enough. We have had enough." Rebekah counted back.

"Look at you. Finally in possession of the one thing that can take you down. How does it feel?"

"Great." Rebekah smiles with victory, Marcel whistles, and a dozen or two vampires come out of the woodwork and fill the balconies

Klaus laughs sarcastically, "So this is it? The evil bastard Klaus has gone too far, must be punished. And by his own sibling, nonetheless. How positively biblical. And you, Marcel, is this--," He points at the vampires, "-- your idea of a hit? I taught you better than this paltry excuse for a take-down. Do you think you can subdue me with this!?"

"No. But I think I can with this." Marcel whistles again, and dozens more vampires appear and fill the balconies

"And I was suppose to look after you two for Elijah?" Reece muttered to herself, "Fuck me sideways, Klaus."

Marcel, Rebekah, and his vampires crowd around Klaus and Reece, who stands in the middle of the circle and spreads Klaus arms. Reece was holding on to Klaus but soon let go when Klaus raised his arms.

"Let's end this charade, shall we? Vampires of New Orleans! Do recall that I am an Original. A hybrid. I cannot be killed. Eternity is an awfully long time. How long, do you think, Marcel will stay in power? What if one of you lot were to release me, knowing I will be eternally in your debt? Oh, I would pity those of you who dared to cross me. I can assure you, your ends would be spectacular. To borrow a trick from an old friend--" He reaches out his hand, which holds a large gold coin, "-- Whoever picks up this coin gets to live." He drops the coin on the floor in front of him.

"Now, which of you magnificent bastards wants to join us?" Reece asked looking at Klaus, who smiled knowing that he had Klaus on his side. "Personally, a plus side of this is you see my beautiful face."

Marcel looked at the vampires, "Anyone wants that coin, pledge allegiance to Klaus. Take it now. Go ahead. The choice is yours."

"The choice actually is not a choice." Reece muttered.

No one moves, except for Klaus, who is slightly astonished that no one picks up the coin. Reece stifled a laugh and strained her from saying, "ay loser!" Marcel looks at him, proud of the loyalty his minions show. Reece shuts her eyes, annoyed then open her eyes again.

Marcel orders, "Take him."

Some of the vampires lunge for Klaus as Klaus pushes Reece away, but he easily takes them out while Reece was shocked that Klaus would actually save her from danger even after the endless teasing. However, when Klaus stretches his arms wide on either side, two other vampires wrap his wrists in chains and bind him.

"I must say this is the most stupidest idea...and I've had sex with him." Reece mentions as she watches, helplessly, she wanted to help but one look from Klaus refrained her. "Come on, Nik." She whispered

They, Marcel's vampires. look triumphant for a moment, but Klaus' hybrid face comes out, and he growls deeply before breaking through his bonds and viciously biting and killing every vampire who comes at him. Rebekah is paralyzed by fear as she watches Klaus quickly gain the upper-hand

Klaus yells, "Marcel! Come and finish this!"

Marcel desperately rushes toward Klaus, but Rebekah holds him back, Rebekah spoke with frantic, "No! Take the coin!"

Marcel was shocked, "What?"

"She said to take the bloody coin, Marcel! Stop your foolishness and end this!" Reece screamed at him, "I swear I will personally will cut your balls off, Marcel, stop it!"

Rebekah spoke gently to Marcel, "He won't stop until everyone is dead. And he will kill you too. End this. Pick up the coin!"

Marcel considers this for a long moment before lunging forward, "Enough!" Suddenly, the room falls absolutely silent, and the fighting stops. Marcel picks up the coin off the ground and holds it up.

Klaus was amused, "Well, well, well. The great Marcel, self-proclaimed king of New Orleans, bowing before me."

Marcel throws the coin at Klaus' feet, "There. I hereby pledge my allegiance to you. You have the keys to my kingdom. It's yours."

Klaus smiles gleefully. Soon after Klaus had finished his conversation with Marcel, Klaus went down to Reece, who waited for him at the entrance of the Abattoir. Reece smiles at the hybrid as the hybrid grinned at the blue haired vampire.

"Thanks by the way."

"Is this real? The Niklaus Mikaelson is thanking me?"

"Sod off Reece."

Reece laughed and hits Klaus' arms playfully, "No, seriously. Why are you thanking me?"

"For staying on my side."

"For you? Anything."

Reece was sitting on the stairs indoors when Elijah arrived back at the plantation house. Elijah was shocked when someone flung their arms around his neck, until he saw the blue. Elijah laughs at the feeling that his best friend was glad that he was fine. When they separated Elijah smiles.

"They're arguing again, 'Lijah." Reece frowns, "Have fun."

"Thank you Reece."

"Pleasure, Elijah Mikaelson."

I don't know how I feel about this chapter tbh. Like it was a good episode but like I didn't type much for it. I am also do you guys think I am lacking those golden comments from Reece or not?
