Red's POV:

After first block, I went to second block with my cousin. "Hay Red! What's been up?" We do our handshake and sit in our little group. "Nothing much, Coach wanting me to make friends with a new boy and his best friend in gym." She looks surprised. "You?! Make friends? You hardly talk to anyone let alone make friends with them." I shrug. "I waved and then just turned around. I might be cold but I'm not very mean." We both hear a knock on the door. Ms. Watson opens the door to reveal the new boy. "Hi!!! You must be Keith! I'm Ms. Watson, your English I teacher. Go on and with....." I see her look around the room and stop at me and Carol. "Go and sit with Remedy and Carol." He just makes his way back there and sit down. Ms. Watson continues to teach. "Hey! I'm Carol." Carol just smiles. "Hi. Keith." He says bluntly. "Well it's nice to meet you!" He looks confused. "You aren't offended that I talk bluntly?" She just smiles. "Nope. My cousin here is very blunt, and cold, and mean, and-" I smack her on the arm. "Shut up Carol. I don't like people." She holds her arm laughing. "Yeah, yeah I know." We all turn and see that Ms. Watson is done teaching and puts on a movie. Carol and I grab a bean bag chair and sit on the floor. "Come on Keith!" She points to the other bean bag chair beside us. He shrugs his shoulders and sit down.

After the movie was over, the bell sounded. "What class you take next?" Carol takes his schedule. "My best friend and I take room 407 together." Carol smiles. "Red and I take 407 together. We always go straight to lunch. Let's go" Keith shakes his head. "Waiting for Eric" We stand in the hallway for a few seconds. "Aye, Keith! Ready to hit the classroom." We all turn to see his friend. "You take classes with me and my cousin, so let's get going. We have a sub anyway." Carol grab my arm and Keith's arm while he grab Eric's arm. We all make it down to lunch. "Red!!!!!!" I turn only to get crashed into by my best friend. "Why can't you act normal for one day?" I hug her. "I'm not normal." She hugs me back and we let go. "Hey Jackie!" Carol hugs her. "What's been up Carol?" They hug and let go. "Nothing, just showing these boys around the school." Carol turns to Eric and Keith who where talking. "Oh them are the boys that take gym with Red and I." Jackie walk over to them. They stop and look at her. "Hey! The name is Jackie." "Hay. I'm Eric." She turns towards Keith. "Keith" She just smiles. "Sorry about him. He's kinda blunt." Eric laughs. "No worries. My best friend is blunt, and cold, and mean, and-" I walk over to her and smack her. "Shut up Jackie. I just don't like people now come on. It's time to go in the auditorium. We have no teacher." We all grab our bags and walk to the auditorium. We all sit down but I sit away from the boys. "Red!" I turn around and see the boys, Carol and Jackie looking at me. "What?" I ask. "You have a spider on your shoulder." I look down to see a tarantula. I let it climb on my hand and pet it. "Aren't you suppose to be scared of things like that?" I look and see Eric pointing at the spider. I shake my head. "No. I like spiders." The spider liked me so I named it Lyrical. I let it climb back on my shoulder and it just sat there. "She is weird, but that's why i love my bestie!" Jackie laughs. "You're scared of animals Jackie and Carol." I look at them cause they wont move towards me. I hear Keith laugh. "What's funny?" Carol and Jackie look at him. "Why are you guys scared of a spider?" Eric buts in. "Well sorry if we don't want to be bitten and we aren't weird like you." I just turn around and play with Lyrical.
