I, Prince Roman, have fallen for that emo, J-Delightful, nightmare.

~~~Virgil's POV~~~
What just happened? I was doing my job, making everyone anxious and then Roman just came over, put his arm around me, and flirted? Of course not, why would he ever flirt with you? Well, ever since you saved him he has been nicer to you, treated you better, and has seem to be quite fond of you. Well, yeah because almost everyone was yelling at him for how rude he was acting, his ego wouldn't allow him not to be liked but by that many people. Yeah, but even off camera......Just stop! He doesn't like you! Get that through your small brain! Virigil stood there lost in thought about this short moment until Patton stopped him by speaking.
      "I wonder why Thomas hasn't summonded us yet, do you think he's tried to?" Everyone thought about this for a moment, before Logan spoke. "It's probably for the best, if he did we wouldn't have the raft," Logan pointed out. "Yeah but if he hasn't tried to summon us then he must not be able to talk, he could be drowning and oh my godly gravy what are we going to do?!" Virgil asked, breathing quickening. "Hey hey hey hey, it's ok!" Roman said, slowly moving towards Virgil. "It's not ok!" Virgil shouted, tugging at his hair, "Thomas is probably drowning and we are going to die!" "No one is going to die Virgil!" Roman assured Virgil, wrapping his arms around Virgil's torso, "He's probably just waiting until he gets to land so that no one has to worry about drowning." Virgil shook his head, "Can't, breath," he gasped, shaking. Roman pulled him closer, "Just breath Virgil, in and out, in and out, very good, keep going, you're going to be ok," Roman mumbled into Virgil's ear, close to tears. Virgil, on the other hand, was already crying, every choked sob made him feel like he was suffocating. Roman's words and warmth were slowly helping him calm down.  Patton and Logan tried their best to help, Patton wrapping one arm around Virgil's shoulder as best as he could and Logan guiding his breathing. "Breath in for four seconds, good, now hold for seven, almost done! Now, breath out for eight," Logan repeated this many times before Virgil's breathing calmed down.
       Virgil was exhausted and embarrassed. All he was able to do was mumble a quiet "Thanks" before his eyes closed and he felt his head lean on what felt like a firm pillow.
    "Is, is he sleeping?" Patton asked, his voice barely above a whisper. "I think so," Roman whispered, looking at the sleeping man on his chest. "His eyes are closed and his breathing is slowed, so he must be," Logan stated, staring into the face of said man on Roman's chest. Patton swatted his shoulder teasingly, causing Logan to quickly cover his shoulder and fake a glare in his direction. "Don't wake him! He needs to rest!" Patton pretend scolded, but a bit of truth was in there, the poor man did need to rest. "Roman, you're going to have to stay like that for awhile, is that ok?" Patton asked, standing up. "Of course!" Roman chirped, surprising himself, since when was he so happy to be around Virgil? Oh wait, that's right, he's madly in love with him, but of course, the other two don't know that. "Great! Perhaps we should look for a way to purify the water around us? It's not safe to be dyhedrated when we are in the sun all day," Logan pointed out, hoping to find a filter somewhere. While Patton and Logan searched the box of things they had for something that could work as a filter, Roman played with Virgil's hair, something he might add, Virgil would never let him do while conscious, until he too fell asleep.

(I know, it's short but a lot is going on right now lol)

Summery

So Virgil was wondering why Roman acted the way he did in the last chapter and then Patton asked the question "Why hasn't Thomas tried to summon us yet?" That, of course leaves Virgil wondering the worst. He convinces himself that Thomas is drowning somewhere and is so scared he goes full on panic mode. Roman, being the heroic prince, attempts to calm him down by wrapping his arms around Virgil's torso and whispers encouragement into his ear. Patton and Logan do their best to help and soon Virgil has calmed down. He's too tired from his attack to stay conscious and ends up falling asleep on Roman's chest. Roman, delighted to see Virgil so peacful takes advanged of this and starts messing around with Virgil's hair, something that Virgil would never allow him to do while conscious. After that, Roman also falls asleep leaving us fans to wonder what awkwardness this will cause and how it will affect their relationship. Got all that?
