Rules
Alrighty folks, you know the drill by now:
1. I shouldn't have to put this, but no smut please. I'd like to keep this as a PG-13 roleplay at the worst, so the limit is kissing and holding hands. No-no scenes can go to the PMs.
2. Cursing should be censored. I mean, they're teens, so expletives are unavoidable. Still, use accents, asterisks, symbols, or substitutes (ranging from fudge to crab apples) instead of the actual curse word.
3. Mary/Gary Sues are no fun. None of those please, and don't make your characters OP. Even for the high schoolers, the gifts are subtle, so keep them subtle.
4. You can only control your character. Meaning, no creating plotlines or manipulating other characters. If you're going to change the plot, DM me first and get my approval. Same goes for controlling characters (though that shouldn't be a thing) - get approval from the roleplayer first before doing anything of the sort. An extension of this would be not to make up convenient lore that changes the plot - most of the stuff should already be in your form, and if you do this I'll call you out on it.
5. Character deaths shouldn't be a thing unless you've talked to me about it beforehand. In fact, there's very few ways to die anyway, so try to avoid them.
6. Password one is to tag two people. Honestly, just tag one and I'll be fine, but try for two. Put this in the tags page.
7. Don't be mean to other roleplayers. That's going to be a two strikes and you're out deal, so please be nice. If I miss anything, please let me know, but I'll be on the lookout.
8. Crazy is fine. Drama is encouraged. However, if you're going to make a meteor fall from the sky that wipes out half of the planet then that's a solid no. Do whatever you want with your characters but stay within the limits of reality.
9. Password two is to tell me what your favorite ____ is. ____ is hidden in the rules, but DM me if you're struggling to find it. Put the answer in the comments.
10. I trust that I can say this is a semi-literate roleplay, so try to have at least three sentences. It's fine once in a while to have less, and if you say you're busy or indisposed, then that's great. However, if it becomes a pattern and you don't explain why, I'll call you out on it.
11. Actively try to interact with other characters. I understand if your character is antisocial in nature, but on that note, we should have at least 2-3 characters who will go and interact with others, even if they don't want to hear it. If the others don't respond, don't spam tags in the chains. Wait at least an hour before tagging again. That being said, please participate! Don't let this roleplay die, and I'll do my part as well.
12. When not roleplaying, please try to chat in the designated chat chain. However, if you chat in the roleplaying chain, use parentheses or some kind of indicator that it's you and not your character.
