After the boat's crash, all of you blacked out.  Miraculously, all of you are still alive, but the captain is missing.  There's not much sign of injury, as the water washed it all away, so there's no hint to what happened; it's as if he wasn't there to begin with.

    You've landed on the beach of the island that some of you may have noticed on the horizon.  Most of you are still in the boat's wreckage, with nothing but the boat, some packets of junk food, and a large can of soda.  Wet sand has gotten everywhere, however, and the rest is unsalvageable.

    The beach you are all on is pretty large, potentially a tourist attraction with the view behind you and the aquamarine waves of the ocean.  It would be a tourist attraction, at least, if it appeared to be inhabited by anything but a lot of trees.  The first  plan of action should be survival, though few of you are prepared for anything of the sort....

Still, clearly the waves were not just a plot device, as something is going on.  Well, some of it is pretty convenient, but don't all RPs have some kind of convenient transition?  SHHHH!

Newcomers, welcome - your characters might have been hiding, knocked out, clueless, or all of the above.  However, don't fret.  The prechapter didn't have much plot-wise, so this where it all starts.
