While Nick is in the shower, someone knocks at the door and I walk over to answer it.

I swing it open and am surprised to see a girl about my age standing in front of me. "Can I help you?" I ask politely.

"Oh...Um I think I'm at the wrong room, I'm looking for a Nick Nelson. Do you know where I can find him?" She asks.

My face heated up but I tried to stay calm. "He's in the shower at the moment, but I can take a message," I reply while crossing my arms.

"Okay, I just wanted to know if he wanted to go on another date tonight, that's all," she replies and flips her long black hair.

"Another date? What do you mean another date?" I ask getting angrier and angrier.

"Well...Last night he took me to see a show on the ship, then we hung out at the pool and we went back to my room and made love," she replies while beaming.

So she must be Carly, I thought.
"You did what?!" I practically yell.

"Wait, who are you? Nick didn't tell me about you," Carly says.

"I'm his wife!" I reply sternly.

"Oh- then I should probably go..." Carly says while backing away and then quickly walked down the hallway.

I slam the door shut and sit on the bed. I lay my head in my hands and a few tears trickle down my face.

Then an announcement came over the loud speaker saying, "Attention all passengers, this is your captain speaking, we will be arriving at Bermuda tomorrow instead of today due to rough weather. Sorry for the inconvenience."

I lifted up my head and Nick came out of the bathroom with wet hair and only shorts on, no shirt.

I stood up from the bed and quickly walked over to him and said, "We need to talk," and I crossed my arms.

"Sure, babe, anything for you," he says and put his hands on my arms.

"No," I say and brush his hands off me. "Who's Carly? I guess I'm not the only love interest you have. Guess what, we are married and we promised we would only love each other. But I guess I'm the only one who kept that promise," I rushed out.

"I can't explain -" he started to say, but I cut him off.

"I'm sure you can come up with a good lie, and I don't want to listen to it. Good bye Nick, I hope your successful and you find true love someday," I say and walk over to the balcony.

He puts his hands around my waist and says, "I'm sorry, I just met her and I wanted to become friends with her, that's all," he pleaded.

I ripped his hands off my waist and quickly turn around to face him. "I don't want to hear all that crap! You made love to another woman, and I can't forgive you for that you CHEATER!" I yell and cried.

His face was emotionless.

"You don't care, do you?" I barely get out through my crying.

"I-" he started to say.

I couldn't take it anymore, I slowly turned my back toward him and I faced the ocean. A few rain drops started to fall. I took a deep breath and slowly climbed over the railing of the balcony.

"What are you doing Samantha?" Nick asked. "please don't do this, I'll make it up to you, I promise!" He says.

"Well, knowing you, you don't keep your promises. I will never trust you again. Have a better life with Carly," I say.

I then did something I never thought I would do. I jumped off the side of the ship and into the ocean.

It felt just like my dream, except this was real. Then I plunged into a pit of darkness.
