     Marina Hope... an ironic name for an ironic girl.  All the stars and constellations had formed together to birth her, using up their magic for the hope that the girl would use her godly hands to restore some justice into the world.  But all that, and she still had no motivation in life for not much else than to piss off her onlooking peers.  The small town she lived in was her world, and though she would never be content with it, she had come to learn that she loved sinning... and looking good while doing it, too.

And then I found me a lover who could play the bass
He's kinda quiet, 𝖇𝖚𝖙 𝖍𝖎𝖘 𝖇𝖔𝖉𝖞 𝖆𝖎𝖓'𝖙

     She never meant to get attached.  Russell was just supposed to be a quick lay, an easy catch.  But things never go as planned, no matter how much you think you're gonna make it out unscathed - you won't.  Hell, even her brother Leo who was scared to travel so far away from home was suddenly missing (though Marina suspected foul play since the night he failed to turn up home) and her once kind mother refused to look her in the eye after knowing how comfortable her daughter had become with taking new lovers each week.  People change, Marina keeps repeating to herself.  It's only natural she does too.  So she welcomes a new pastor, and she welcomes another boy between her legs, though nothing feels right... and Arvin's behind it.

     And surprisingly, she wants in on it, too.

     The devil's always watching, and my, he's got the time.
