He was enchanted by her beauty,
Admired her from afar.
Mr. Moon was in love,
With the pretty, twinkling star.

He wanted to impress her,
But Mr. Moon was shy.
He was happy nonetheless,
That they shared the same sky.

He tried over and over,
To grab her attention.
But all his efforts,
Went in vain.

He changed shapes every day,
From nothing to shining fully bright,
Also tried different colours,
But she never noticed him.

Once, Ms. Star's attention,
Was caught by Mr.Moon's act,
While he proudly cast his reflection,
On the vast sea.

Ms.Star twinkled happily,
Seeing the wonderful sight.
It shined with glee,
It fell in love instantly.

But not with Mr. Moon,
Instead with Mr. Sea.

Mr.Moon stood bewildered
As Ms.Star was leaving the sky
And making her way to the sea,
He couldn't even tell her a goodbye.
