"come on, chenle! we're going to be late!" jaemin was waiting for the orange haired male to finish getting ready for the end of the year celebration. the entire group had agreed to go together, besides jisung since he had to get there earlier to prepare.

the talent showcase was going to happen first, with a total of 24 performances. afterwards, the senior student's graduation ceremony would occur, then the rest of the time would be a party to celebrate the end of the year. everyone was excited.

"i'm coming!" chenle exclaimed from the other side of the door and quickly grabbed his dorm room keys and his phone before leaving. he met jaemin, renjun, donghyuck, and yangyang on the other side, who were all waiting for him. locking the door behind him, the five boys made their way to the sm high school field, where they met the rest of their friends.

"your boyfriend is going up last," jeno teased, causing the chinese male to turn a light shade of pink, almost the same color as taeyong's faded hair color. the chatter of over a thousand students could most likely be heard from the moon, but the twenty boys didn't mind it as all they cared about was enjoying their time here.

"hello, sm high!" the school principal said through the microphone he was holding, fueling the crowd with lots of energy for the talent showcase. "i'm so glad you all could make it. you all know what goes on tonight, so i'm not going to delay a lot of time and go straight to it. we will start with the talent showcase, then move on to the senior graduation. the rest of the night is just spent to celebrate the end of the year!"

the crowd of students gathered in front of the temporarily built stage all cheered, the screams and shouting being unified as one. with this, the principal welcomed the first representative to the stage, which happened to be zhu zhengting from the chinese department.

it didn't need to be said to know that his performance was amazing. he performed a modern dance to a song that not many people have heard before, but nonetheless, it was flawless and mesmerizing to watch. everyone enjoyed watching the chinese male move across the stage with flexibility and saw zhengting do some acrobatics and tumbling.

once his performance was over, the performance from other students continued on. the performances ranged from singing to dancing to playing musical instruments, and everyone was so amazed at all the talents that were being shown to the whole school. not a single eye lingered elsewhere and remained glued to the stage as performance after performance occurred.

finally, it was time for the performance that chenle and his friends were looking forward to, as well as half the student body. a boy in familiar light blue hair arrived onto the stage and introduced himself.

"hello, my name is park jisung. i am the representative for dance class K-3. i chose to dance to 'highway to heaven' by nct 127 because the lyrics reminded me of someone who makes me walk on the highway that leads to heaven. he doesn't know it, but this is for him. please enjoy!"

the crowd erupted into cheers after hearing the small speech from jisung as the said male got onto his position on stage. chenle smiled at his boyfriend, knowing that what he said just now was directed towards him, because as the blue haired male was saying his speech, his eyes were surfing across the crowd, and met the orange haired boy's eyes as he was finishing up what he was saying. jisung's eyes told chenle everything, and the other caught every single thing.

the song started up, and chenle and his friends were cheering with the rest of the crowd throughout the entire performance. every one of them enjoyed being there and watching their close friend dance what he spent the past month choreographing.

the entire first year of high school had been somewhat of a roller coaster ride for both chenle and jisung, and not just for them. this entire school year was a roller coaster ride for taeyong, jaehyun, yuta, and sicheng as well. nevertheless, they were able to get through all their problems together, with the help of friends.

chenle never regretted meeting this group of boys, even though they may drive him crazy sometimes, and he never regretted meeting jisung. the blue haired boy was the best thing that happened to the chinese male, chenle determined, and he was never going to let the other go. jisung also never regretted meeting the orange haired male, who had made his life filled with sunshine and rainbows everyday, despite the roller coaster he was just on through the entire year. he had the help of his friends there with him to help him along the way, and when the roller coaster got stuck, the blue haired male's friends were always there to help it get loose again.

the bond between the twenty one boys was unbreakable, and their friendship would last forever. it was limitless, and jisung knew that. all of them knew that. as long as they had each other and trusted one another, their friendship would be endless, just like the name of jisung's dad's dance studio, limitless.

though the path in life isn't straight, as jisung had originally thought, the crosses and turns are what make it interesting, and the blue haired male was glad to have gotten through this year with a happy ending for everyone. he finally confessed to his crush, that same person became his boyfriend, and they are now happy together, despite the original thought of chenle being straight.

as jisung continued on with the dance, only one person was in his mind during that time other than his performance. the orange haired male in which jisung loved very much. he now had the chinese male in the palm of his hand, and he promised himself to never let him go.

<things that appear to be true may be the very thing that turns out to be false, and the ability to differentiate the truth from the false is called knowledge>
