Late Bell: *rings*

Emma: Shoot, that's the bell! I better get to class! See ya girls later!

Heather: Bye, Emma!

Natalie: Bye, Emma!

Emma: *rushes into Mrs. Cosgrove's English class*

Mrs. Cosgrove: You're late, Diaz! Go fill out a tardy slip!

Emma: Sorry, Mrs. Cosgrove: *fills out a tardy slip*

Mrs. Cosgrove: Now, sit down.

Emma: *sits down and is ashamed for being late*

At lunchtime....

Emma: *sitting at the table with Heather and Natalie* Well, I got in trouble for being late to my English class. *eating her lunch*

Heather: So did I. *drinks her milk*

Natalie: I did, too. *drinks her milk*

Emma: Let's limit our talking time to maybe 5 minutes.

Heather: Good idea.

Natalie: Yeah, that's probably the best solution.
