The New Girl
Regina Mills woke up to the loud snoring of her pest of a sister. She groaned and threw a pillow at the witch. Zelena rolled out of bed and groaned.
"What is wrong with you?!?" She yelled at her sister.
"You were snoring like a pig! I needy beauty rest you know. Gorgeousness like this doesn't just happen." Regina directed to her face. Zelena cackled.
"So gorgeous. Explain to me how you have an attractive boyfriend and I don't." Zelena groaned. Regina stuck her tongue out at her sister.
"Because I'm not an ugly b-"
"REGINA!" Zelena cut her sister off. Their bedroom door opened to reveal Cora standing in a pose of disappointment.
"Zelena leave your poor sister alone!" She scolded. Zelena's jaw dropped.
"She started it by waking me up!"
"It's not her fault you snore like a pig. Now you might as well both get dressed for school. It's almost 7:00." Cora left her daughters and went to make breakfast.
"Your such a princess!" Zelena snapped.
"Actually I'm a queen," Regina smirked.
"Yea an Evil Queen!"
"At least I'm not a Wicked Witch!" With that their argument ended and they both got dressed in their respective bathrooms. When they came out in similar black dresses Regina smirked.
"Didn't anyone tell you? Black is my color!" She laughed.
"Oh but it looks so much better on me." Regina rolled her eyes and grabbed her boots before leaving Zelena to change. She pulled on a green sweater and black jeans then descended the stairs to find breakfast on the table, her sister already scarfing down a pancake.
When they finished eating Cora walked outside to the car and waited for her daughters to follow. Henry descended the stairs to say goodbye to his daughters.
"Love you, Daddy." Regina smiled waving.
"Love you too Princess." He smiled back. Zelena frowned and followed her sister. She turned around to say one last thing to her stepfather.
"Didn't you hear? She's a queen." Zelena scoffed before shutting the door and getting into Cora's car, the backseat of course.
When Cora pulled up to the school Regina jumped out to meet her friends. Her best friend Kathryn waved and Regina walked over.
"Looking great as usual." Kathryn commented. Shortly after her boyfriend walked over to join them. Graham Hunter.
"Hey Babe. Did you guys hear about the new girl?" He asked.
"Yea she's in all of my classes." Regina groaned.
"Well, she's pretty hot. Killian has started to fancy her." He stated.
"Killian fancies anything with boobs. " Regina scoffed. Kathryn laughed as they were joined by the rest of Regina's minions. Astrid, Tink, and Jack strolled up. Jack said hi before wandering off to her boyfriend the handsome James. One of the Nolan twins.
"Hey, Gina." Tink smiled. Regina admired the two girls for their talent of pulling off sparkles. She also loved how they were so good at sneaking out without being caught by their Nun Mother. Who was also their teacher? Jack and Kathryn, on the other hand, helped boost her popularity, not that she needed it. She was already the queen of the school.
When she entered the school she went to her locker which was located right beside a blonde girl who was new to the school. It seemed as though Killian really did fancy this girl as he was trying relentlessly to have a conversation with her. Regina took this opportunity to intrude on the pair.
"How are you two love birds?" Regina asked smirking.
"We are not love birds!" Emma protested immediately.
"We would be if someone didn't have a stick up their ass." Killian snapped. Regina chuckled.
"Killian we don't need to know what you keep shoved up your ass now scram. I would like to talk with the new girl." She said mischievously. Killian didn't move. "Go or I will tell Tink about your little crush." Killian stomped off. Regina than turned to Emma who was slightly cowering in fear. "So will you be attending my party this weekend? "
"I'm not sure. I haven't asked. " Emma replied awkwardly.
"It would be a shame for you to miss such a great opportunity to meet people. " Regina said. Emma nodded. "I know Killian would love it if you went." She whispered before strutting away. As she walked she knew all eyes were on her as they always were. She made sure to wave and blow kisses as she passed her adoring fans.
She entered her period one class and sat beside Graham who was talking to a few of his friends. James and Killian. She smirked at Killian who returned with a glare before walking to his actual class.
"What's up with you two?" James asked wriggling his eyebrows.
"I embarrassed him in front of his new target. He's being a wimp about it." The boys laughed and took their seats. Regina followed and sat down beside Kathryn.
" Hey Girl, ready for Mr. Gold's class? " Kathryn groaned. Regina shook her head.
"I will never be ready for this class. Mr. Gold is a complete lunatic and should not be allowed to teach. " She leaned in closer and spoke in a whisper. "Plus he totally makes love eyes at Belle!" They giggled as Mr Gold and Belle walked in as if they had a cue. Belle took her seat and the rest of the class filed in. Emma was the last in the door and took her place as the bell rang.
"Wow. The new girl is cutting it close." Kathryn snickered. Mr Gold took attendance and the second name made Regina's blood boil. Mary Margaret Blanchard was Regina's enemy after the incident. Mary Margaret had told Cora about Regina's secret boyfriend. She was grounded for a month and Cora had practically run him out of town. She never saw him again. It was almost like she had killed him. Regina swore revenge on her.
To make it worse Mary Margaret constantly flirted with Kathryn's longterm boyfriend David. The other Nolan twin. Tink was dating Killian which meant that within their group they were all dating the most popular boys on school aside from Astrid.
They had planned to set her up with Robin Hood but he had a longterm girlfriend and Astrid had a pathetic crush on Mary Margaret's Loser brother. Well one of them. Plus Tink kept insisting that Regina was meant to be with Robin while Graham was just a phase. Regina denied it. Even if he was a phase, he was an extremely attractive phase that she didn't want to lose. He was like her servant.
Classes went slow as usual. Tink was completely oblivious to her boyfriend's relentless flirting with Emma during the third period. It made no sense to Regina. Tink was way prettier and much more fun to be around, granted she had only had one conversation with Emma.
At lunch Regina realized that Killian wasn't the only Jones interested in Emma. Not that Liam was any match for his brother. After Liam had walked away from her table Killian, Neal and Graham strolled up which peaked her interest. Regina moved closer to hear the exchange.
"Hello, Swan. It's a pleasure to see you. " Killian smirked.
"I think you saw enough of me in gym class." Emma snapped. Her friends laughed.
"I definitely haven't seen enough of you love. If you want though we could-"
"Back off. " Elsa sighed.
"My apologies ladies. Killian does not know when to quit. We shall be leaving."
"You're in my math class. Graham right?" Emma asked.
"Yeah. And you're Emma Swan or as most people say, The new girl." Graham replied.
"Yep, that's me. If you wouldn't mind taking your friends now we would like to finish our lunch." Emma said. The boys nodded before walking away. Regina was amazed that anyone could have that much power over three idiots. Someone other than her of course. She continued to listen to the conversation between Emma and her friends.
"So you like anyone?" Elsa prodded.
"I'm not sure yet. It's only been a day and a half." Emma chuckled. "But I guess Graham is pretty cute." She giggled like a lovesick teen making Regina want to puke.
"No! That's Regina's boyfriend." Mulan explained immediately. Regina loved the sound of fear in her voice.
"The last girl who ruined one of her relationships was Mary Margaret and you saw how that turned out." Merida added.
"I guess but it's not like I want to be friends with Regina. I would if she weren't a total b-"
"You can't say stuff like that. Her minions are everywhere. Plus she's not that bad." Elsa said. Regina didn't know how to react to those comments. She continued to observe.
"Yeah I guess but she just knows exactly what to say to get under your skin." Emma stated. The other girls nodded. Regina felt proud.
"So are you going to her party?"
"If you guys are. Ingrid probably won't care she's pretty laid back."
"We are going. This will be so much fun!" Elsa squealed.
"Or total Hell." Merida groaned. Mulan and Emma laughed while Elsa rolled her eyes.
"Whatever. It's Friday night so we will all go over to my place to get ready." Elsa explained.
"Ok, I'll make sure Ingrid knows." Emma announced. The bell rang marking the end of lunch. Regina followed Elsa and Emma to their period four class and took her assigned seat. It was beside Robin so not completely unbearable just not enjoyable.
They learned more about American History before the class ended. Regina was bored the entire time. When the bell marking the end of the period rang she walked to English class with Robin and Killian.
"So you both better be coming to my party." She commanded.
"I wouldn't miss it Milady. " Killian mock bowed earning a hard shove into the lockers.
"I will be attending if Marian goes." Robin added.
"Dude your whipped!" Killian laughed. Regina rolled her eyes at his foolishness and entered Ms. Goodwitch's class. Emma had already taken her seat. Regina and Robin elbowed Killian repeatedly to tease him. They took their seats at the back as the rest of the class filed in.
"Ok class today you will be partnering up for a little word activity. Then you will choose your book for book club. I will assign all books tomorrow."
They partnered up. Gwen with Arthur. Nimue with Merlin. Emma with Merida. Mary Margaret with David. Ruby with Belle. Lance with Leroy. Emma with Merida. All that was left now was the three of them and Regina's sister. In fear of being stuck with her sister, Regina grabbed Killian, leaving Robin alone with the wicked witch of the west.
When they finished their activities Ms. Goodwitch lined up a series of random books at the front. Each person would pick their top three books. Than Ms Goodwitch would assign the groups based on their choices. Regina chose three books and handed in her slip of paper before putting all her books away and slipping on her jacket. She wanted to be ready to leave as soon as the bell rang.
When the time came to leave Regina burst out of the room and down to her mother's car.
"Mom I'm going to the mall with my friends to shop for the party on Friday. I'll see you later." Before her mother could oppose she ran off and hopped in the front seat of Graham's car. It was going to be his friends and her friends. They usually went shopping together. The group didn't consist of all their friends. On Regina's side, it was her, Jack and Kathryn due to the fact that Mother Superior was a nightmare to live with. On his side, it was Graham, Killian, Robin, and James because Regina couldn't tolerate the rest. Robin only went on occasion for the reason of Marian being a control freak. Storybrooke was small so it didn't have a mall but Maine was known for having great shopping that for them was only an hour away.
Graham drove all the girls while James drove the guys. They met up in the parking lot and walked into the mall like they owned the place. They were gorgeous and rich to a certain extent and they had no boundaries. They made their way through each store trying on dresses and forcing the guys to try on the leather which for Killian, wasn't a problem. They paid for half of the mall then walked to the food court to eat before they left. They all got a pizza from pizza delight than sat down to enjoy their food.
"Gina I'm so excited for this party." Jack squealed.
"I'm hoping she gets drunk," James whispered, much too loud to be a secret. Jack kicked his foot under the table. "Was that my out-loud voice?" He asked innocently. She rolled her eyes and they all laughed.
"So Robin is Maid Marian attending the party?" Killian asked with a smirk.
"Probably not but I don't care. " He smiled triumphantly. Shock overcame the group.
"Since when?"
"We broke up when she wanted me to stay with her instead of hanging out with you guys." He shrugged. They all whooped and cheered.
"Finally!" Graham laughed.
"How long did it last?" Killian asked.
"1 month," Robin mumbled. Regina smiled proudly.
"Pay up losers." She demanded. Everyone handed her twenty bucks. Robin looked confused but angrily understood within seconds.
"Not cool guys." He groaned. They all cheered again crashing their cups together in a manner of cheers. Robin joined the good mood and they all finished their pizza.
After eating they went back to their cars and Graham drove the girls home. He dropped Regina off last so they could have some time alone.
"Hey Babe I had fun today. I can't wait to see you in that dress at the party." He was referring to a tight, short, black and purple strapless dress she had bought for the occasion. Her father would probably cry if he saw it, but luckily she convinced her mother to take him out for the night. They were going to drive to Maine and stay their overnight for some couples time.
"Thanks." She blushed. She kissed before they saw the door open and saw an angry looking Cora silhouette. "I better go. I'll miss you when I'm dead." She chuckled.
"Love you." He waved. She called love you too back to him as she jogged to her front door.
"Regina how dare you go out of town without my permission?!?"
"Sorry?"
"You are grounded! No party on Friday! " Cora yelled. Regina's jaw dropped.
"What?!? Mom, you can't! " She pleaded.
"I just did. " Cora sent Regina to her room where she fell onto her bed. Zelena sat on her own bed happily watching her sister's life fall apart. Before bed Regina sent a single text to her closest friend.
Party's off.
