Dumped

Robin Hood was down in the dumps. His girlfriend broke up with him after he accidentally said her sisters name when they were...you know. He couldn't look either of the Mills sisters in the eyes. To make things worse one of his best friends was missing.

He got dressed and headed to school hoping to avoid everyone he knew. He knew he would have to see Regina at some point. And Zelena. He had messed up bad.

He had horrible luck.

"Hey Pinecone! We need to talk." Robin turned to face Regina. He started to walk faster then he realized there was no escaping the Evil Queen.

"Yes Regina?" He asked hoping she would want to talk about anything else.

"It's about Graham." He sighed in relief.

"Do you know where he is?" Robin asked hopefully.

"No but I have a feeling that he's not coming back." She bit her lip.

"What?"

"I just- He would have called you know? He cared about me. If he ran away he would have told me. or broken up with me so I wasn't hung up on him. I need to move on from him."

"Regina he has only been gone for two days. He might just be sick."

"I went to his house. His parents haven't seen him." Robin studied Regina.

"Okay, so why me? What do you want me to do?" He asked completely puzzled by the Queen's motives.

"I heard you and my sister broke up. I was wondering if you maybe wanted to uh hang out some time..." She trailed off awkwardly staring at her feet. He wanted to say yes. So badly he wanted to say yes. But it was too soon.

"You just lost your boyfriend. And I just got out of two relationships. I'm clearly not ready for a relationship. I think what you really need is a friend." He reached out to stroke her arm but she quickly backed away.

"Fine Goodbye." She stomped away and Robin was sure he made a mistake. What he didn't know was the fact that Regina wasn't mad. Just brokenhearted.

He sighed and headed to his table which was missing a member.

"Hey fellas." He plopped down beside Killian and August.

"I heard the news bud. You dumped the psycho! Good on you." Killian patted his friend on the shoulder.

"I don't want to talk about it." Robin groaned.

"No mate we gotta know the details. I'm tired of hearing the Marian stories." Will laughed.

"So how did it happen?" James asked ignoring the girl on his lap. It wasn't Jaqueline but that was a problem he would deal with another day. Well that's what he thought.

"Well uh at Emma's party after we uh...yeah she yelled and broke up with me."

"Robin you dog!"James slammed his fist down on the table in delight.

"Were you that bad mate?" Killian laughed.

"No I uh may have kind of said a name that wasn't hers..." All of the boys hooted with laughter.

"Who?" Neal asked wanting to be an active part of the conversation.

"Regina." He sighed. They all screamed and snorted as Robin let his head fall against the table in frustration and embarrassment. Before they could discuss any further. The girls walked over.

Tink squeezed in between Robin and Killian, Astrid sat on the edge of the bench so she wouldn't disturb anyone, Kathryn pushed the strange girl off the lap of her boyfriend's twin brother and Regina sat on the table so she was the center of attention.

"Hey James, where's your girlfriend?" Regina asked briefly following the girl with her eyes.

"Hey Regina, where's your boyfriend?" He retorted. She slapped him.

"Not funny Nolan." Kathryn smacked the back of his head in support of her best friend.

"Ouch. Anyways, I have no Idea where Jack is, I figured she was with you."

"Well she's not. We tried texting and calling her. We thought you two might be off making out somewhere." Regina snorted.

"Clearly we're not making out. Unless she got David and I mixed up. If so then good on her." Kathryn smacked him again.

"That's my boyfriend you Idiot."

"Did you know that your boyfriend went to the Swan girl's party with another girl?" Kathryn's jaw dropped. "And I'm the idiot." James scoffed. Kathryn didn't have a chance to hunt down her boyfriend because the bell rang which also meant James was off the hook. None of them did anything bad in Mr Gold's class in fear of having to stay in detention with him.

Robin met up with his friends again at lunch and as far as he knew no one had told Regina about the whole wrong name incident. But he decided he needed to talk to Zelena. He spotted the ginger across the cafeteria.

"Hey Zelena, can we talk?" He asked.

"Wow you got my name right!" She sneered her voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Did you tell them?" He asked quietly looking at all of her friends.

"Of course not. They don't need to know anything that happened that day. They think when we were texting and you replied with I love you Regina." She whispered in return. He dragged her away to a corner where they could speak privately. She immediately brushed his hand away when they stopped moving.

"I wanted to talk to you about all that. I'm really sorry. I was really drunk and it was a mistake."

"Are you talking about what we did or the fact that you said her name?" Zelena stared at her feet sadly.

"Zelena you have to understand I'm a gentleman at least I try to be. That's never how I wanted my first time to be."

"I get the point. Goodbye Robin." She wiped away a tear and rushed back to her friends.

Robin sunk to the floor and looked up at everything going on in the cafeteria.

There were the princesses and their princes all together smiling. There was a certain sense of sadness surrounding them. They also seemed to be missing some members. It reminded Robin of his own friend group. First Graham, now Jaqueline seemed to be missing.

He shifted his gaze to a different group of friends. The new girl and her crew. There was Elsa, the ice queen. After her friendship with Regina ended she was always so cold towards all of them. He never had the courage to ask Regina what had happened. Now that wasn't really an option. Next was Merida. She was one of their newer additions. She had lots of courage. He had only spoken to her a couple of times and none of their conversations were very captivating. She seemed interesting but he never had anything to talk to her about. And at this point he didn't need anymore redheads in his life. After Merida was Mulan. He liked Mulan. He once invited her into his friend group but after spending five minutes around James and Killian she said she would rather die. He understood where she was coming from but he would have enjoyed a friendship with her. Beside Mulan was Ruby who had recently been spending less time with the Storybrooke princesses and more time with this group. He noticed the sadness in her eyes replaced the normal cheery sparkle. He assumed it was because of her dead boyfriend. Across from Ruby was Emma. The girl who had unintentionally stolen Killian's heart. She also had a certain sadness evident in her expression. He didn't know the reason though. Completing the table were the newest additions. Henry and Violet. Robin had briefly heard some things about them but just that they were staying with the Swans.

Robin kept looking around the room. That was until he was staring at two chests. He looked up further and saw Killian and Will.

"Stop moping around mate." Killian chuckled offering his hand to his friend.

"How can I not my girlfriend dumped me, one of my best friends is missing, Regina probably hates me-"

"Why would Regina hate you?" Will asked.

"She kind of made a move on me and I turned her down. Not in a bad way. I was as nice as possible."

"Wait so the girl you want to be with made a move on you...and you turned her down." Robin nodded and stared at his feet. "What the hell is wrong with you?" Killian asked baffled by his friend's stupidity.

"It's not that simple." He groaned. Their conversation was cut off by a cell phone blaring "A pirate's life for me". Killian chuckled before answering.

"Aye?"It was Regina.

"They found Graham." She spoke with fear. Killian had never heard his friend like this.

"Where? Is he okay? Can we see him?" This got Robin and Will's attention.

"Graham is dead." Killian heard sobs over the phone.

"Where are you Regina?" He asked knowing she needed some comfort.

"At the sheriff's station. They want to ask us all some questions. Please hurry." She hung up the phone leaving Killian speechless.

"L-let's go." The three boys ran to Killian's car and sped to the sheriff's station. On the way Killian filled the two boys in on what had happened. They were both stunned. He was gone. Graham was really gone.

When they arrived Killian immediately ran to Regina and embraced her. She cried into his shoulder. Her tears rolled off of his signature leather jacket.

"Have they questioned you yet?" He asked pulling away and brushing her tears away with his thumbs. She shook her head.

"James is in there right now. He told them about Jaqueline going missing." She told him. Robin sat in one of the waiting chairs tapping his foot impatiently. An irritable Regina desperately wanted to slap him but Killian made sure she couldn't.

August was nervous to go him. He had a bad habit of lying and this was not the place for it.

The sheriff came out and asked for Regina to come in.

"Miss Mills how did you know the victim."

"Graham was my boyfriend." She sighed. She knew what had happened to him. But the police officer sure as hell weren't going to find out.

They asked her a few questions while the boys waited anxiously. Regina emerged from the interrogation room looking shaken up. Killian was called in next. Regina sat down beside Robin not saying a word to anyone. They sat together in silence. Robin stole glances at her every once in a while but he didn't know how to proceed. He slid his hand close to hers so their pinkies touched. At first he thought Regina would pull away. She didn't. She placed her hand on top of his and intertwined their fingers. Neither one of them spoke a word they just savoured the moment together. No matter how horrible the circumstances were, they had each other. And maybe one day they would be more than just friends.

After Killian went Neal who didn't know much about the situation.

Robin was the last to go in for questioning. He sat in the metal chair in front of the sheriff.

"Mr Hood, how did you know the victim."

"He was one of my best friends."

"Did you see him on the last day he was known to be alive?"

"Yes. We were at a party together. Am I a suspect?"

"We are gathering up as much information as we can."

"Well can you ask questions that don't make me feel like I am on the stand?"

"Mr. Hood if you do not answer my questions you will be standing in the way of an active investigation. You could be arrested for that so I suggest you answer my questions without complaining." Robin nodded. "Now when did you last see the victim? The more specific the better."

"Well I left the party early after a disagreement with my girlfriend. I hear the party didn't last too much longer than that. Graham helped clean up as far as I know so the last person to see him alive would probably be Emma Swan."

"Swan. The residence near the woods where we found the body. Thank you for the help."

"Don't you have to have our parents here if you are talking to us?" Robin asked the sheriff. He was quickly dismissed and they were all free to go. Except Regina. They asked her to stay behind. Of course, none of the boys left her side. The sheriff started asking questions about Daniel ( Regina's ex-boyfriend who mysteriously disappeared). She couldn't get the words out. She collapsed to the ground in tears.

Regina was an overly emotional person but when she lost Daniel it took a toll on her. She loved him deeply. They talked about marriage and running away together. He made her happy. Even happier than Graham did. Then he was cruelly ripped away from her. He went missing and after a year they pronounced him dead. It completely broke her. Graham didn't have the same connection with Regina as Daniel did. She had his heart but he didn't have hers. Her heart had belonged to Daniel. She kept Graham because she had become dependant on having someone. When she had someone she felt stronger. More loved. More powerful. Having all her friends and her boyfriend made her the Queen.

They boys shielded her from the sheriff who sighed and let them go. They stayed together at the Mills house for a couple of hours. They couldn't laugh as it didn't feel right without Graham. Neal stared at the wall. August sat with Neal staring at the floor. James kept trying to call Jaqueline hoping she would pick up. Killian and Robin comforted Regina. Killian also kept taking swigs from the flask that was hidden in his jacket. Will stared out the window like he was expecting Graham to walk up. Regina was the only one who knew what really happened. She was ridden with guilt. Regina's group of friends kept texting and calling trying to reach them but they didn't answer. They just sat together and mourned the loss of their friend.

They thought things couldn't get any worse. They were wrong. They were proved wrong when there was a knock at the door. Robin offered to get it. He stood up and opened the door to someone they had all seen too much of that day.

"Mr Nottingham I assure you we've given you all the information you need." Robin said pushing the door closed. The sheriff stopped it.

"Is Regina Mills here?" He asked.

"Sir I think you have bothered Regina with enough questions today. When her mother gets home we will have her give you a call to setup a proper interrogation." Robin assured the man before once again attempting to close the door.

"Is Regina Mills here?" He repeated more firmly.

"Let him in Robin. It's okay." The sheriff came in and looked around the room until his eyes landed on Regina.

"Miss Mills," He began.

"Yes Sheriff Nottingham?" She asked politely wanting the man to just leave her alone. Instead he gently turned her around and connected a cold metal bracelet to each of her wrists.

"Regina Mills you are under arrest for the murder of Graham Hunter."

"WHAT?!?
