Summer wakes up and sees that she is on a island 

Summer: wow wherever I am they have a lovely view I wonder where everyone else is so they can see this 🤩

Cloud Guy: glad to see you awake Summer *drinking from a coconut 🥥 *

Summer: where am I 

Cloud Guy: I sucked you and your friends into different stories and you are the daughter of the chief of this island 

Summer: cool

Cloud Guy: really that's your reaction to being stuck inside a storybook 😠

Summer: well I mean you did place in a place where I feel the most comfortable in 

Cloud Guy: do you know how annoyed the last three were when I told them 😡

Summer: anyway and how do I get back home because I want to be with my friends and I need to see Bruce on Vacay Island later for a job interview 

Cloud Guy: 😒 fine all you need to do to get back home is to complete your story and you will be sent home in a flash of light  now see you when you get back 

Summer: what was that last part *notices Cloud Guy is gone* ok then I hope everyone else is okay and now I guess I just do my day as the chief's daughter 

Then Summer spent her morning helping fixing someone's roof, helping someone endure the pain of getting a new tattoo, teaching kids how to hula dance and saved a below average intelligent chicken from being potentially cooked 

Villager: Summer we need help 

Summer: sure what's going on 

Villager: well we were harvesting the coconuts this morning when 

Then she and several other villagers showed some opened coconuts and they looked burnt 

Chief Blaze and Amy: 😨😨

Summer: ok we will clear out the diseased trees and start a new grove over there 👉 *points at where they should grow some new coconut trees* 🌴 

Villager: thanks Summer *whispers to Chief Blaze* she's doing great 😊 

Chief Blaze: 😊 this suits you Summer

Then later Summer and her dad went to the beach where they saw some fishermen 

Fisherman: our traps in the east lagoon there pulling out less and less fish 

Summer: then we'll rotate the fishing grounds 

Fisherman: uh we have there's no fish 

Summer: oh then we'll fish the far side of the island 

Fisherman: we tried 😔

Summer: the windward side 

Fisherman: and the leeward side, the shallows, the channel we've tried the whole lagoon they're just gone

Then as the fishermen and her father continued to discuss what could be the issue Summer looks at the ocean and she gets a idea of how to solve the fishing problem 

Summer: what if the fish beyond the reef 

Chief Blaze: no one goes beyond the reef

Summer: I know but if there are no fish in the lagoon 

Chief Blaze: Summer

Summer: and there's a whole ocean 

Chief Blaze: we have one rule 😠 

Summer: an old rule when there were fish 

Chief Blaze: a rule that keeps us safe 

Summer: but dad 😧

Chief Blaze: instead of endangering our people so you can run right back to the water 😡

Summer felt frightened by her dad's anger since she and her dad were close back home 

Fishermen: *avoiding eye contact* 

Chief Blaze: every time I think you're past this *grabs a oar and places it in the sand angrily* no one goes beyond the reef 😡

Summer then left to try and make sense of what happened when all she was expecting this morning to have a nice picnic with her friends and then go to Vacay Island for a job interview and now she is in a book and has a strained relationship with her father and she doesn't have her friends to talk to when she sees her mom 

Amy: hey Summer are you ok 

Summer: I didn't say go beyond the reef because I want to be on the ocean 

Amy: but you still do look Summer your dad is hard on you because 

Summer: because he doesn't get me 😒

Amy: because he was you when he was your age he was drawn to the ocean and one night he and his best friend snuck out and took a boat but there was storm and they fell off and his best friend drowned and your dad couldn't save him so he's hoping to save you 

Summer: *thinking* I can't believe that happened to dad 😨

Amy: sometimes who we wish we were what we wish we could do it's just not meant to be 

Later Summer felt conflict with how she should complete her story since it's either take the risks or follow her dad's wishes
