"ah hyeju ya, welcome to happy house!" a lady greeted me at the counter. "hello." i said and she replied with a smile.

she was pretty and nice too and i think she can interact with the kids well.

"the kids are in the play room right now where they can play with the toys and talk to their friends. soon, it will be the story telling session and you are in charge on it." she explained.

"ahh. so, who's in charge at the play room?" i asked and she rub her nape.

"well, happy house doesn't get much volunteers and as you know there's only three volunteer here. me, you and chanyeol." she said.

chanyeol?

"yeah, kids like him because he can entertain them and being the funny clown. but, he is not that type when it is the end of the day." she pouted and i cocked an eyebrow.

"what do you mean jiwon-ssi?" i asked her.

"he's arrogant as hell, huh." she said and i chuckled. oh look at that, the real nice lady turns beasty.

"chanyeol is a big-headed?" i remarked and she nods with an assuring face.

"oh, i think i can talk to him and maybe he can change.." i said giving a pleasant smile.

"no uh. he wouldn't. i think no one can change him since that day happened." she adds.

"what that day?" i widened my eyes.

"the day he broke up with his girlfriend. oh well, better change your outfits. the changing room is at the back." she said as she handed me the white shirt printed 'happy' on it.

"o-okay." i nod and put my bag down at the cabinet.

i tied my hair into a ponytail and put a pink ribbon on my wrist.

i entered the play room and there were kids running around. there's only 20 kids and still the room has a big space for them. some of them talked to each other, play with toys, riding the slide and..

chanyeol.

he was entertaining the kids with aegyo.

"how come an arrogant person like him could be cute too?" i asked myself.

"eonnie!" a little girl runs toward me and hugged my leg. other kids noticed it too and they were surrounding me.

i gave a wide smile and the kids showed me their happy faces.

"hello kids. i'm shin hyeju. you can call me hyeju eonnie." i said and chanyeol huffed.

"you must be the new girl." he said. i was really suprised that his voice was so deep.

"yes, i'm shin hyeju." i tried to shake hands with him but he rolled his eyes. "take care of the kids first, i'm going to the toilet." he said and left the room.

"tsk." i showed him a disgusted face.
