Explanation of my fics' Distortions and E.G.O
This section is meant to be used as a guide for how I do my Distortions and E.G.O. Unlike in Project Moon, I will not be using their conventional way of coding them. Furthermore, Distortions and E.G.O will we accounted for as if they were the same thing.
Even so, many aspects used for Project Moon abnormalities will still be used, such will be the naming of the E.G.O, the story and so, Risk Level and Coding on the other hand, will be built over a personal creation of mine, which will be explained later on.
This is universal for all fanfics I make, even if these concepts do not exist in those fics, I will still create what if distortions/E.G.O. However, this won't mean that all of my fics take place in the same universe (at most, there will just be cameos or references to other fics, but they will never be important).
Distortion Code
In Project Moon, the Code is the personal identity of an abnormality, F,O,T,D and M being the letters to represent different origins of where the Abnormality came from, it is then followed with the a sequence of two numbers, from 1 to 9 and then another one which can be any number, the first set of number has it's own meaning while the other is the personal number.
For the distortions and E.G.Os of my stories, the Code will be completely different.
X-X-0-(0)-(A-0)-Name, a set of 2 letters and a number, with another set of numbers if it is a creation of the distortion, another set of letters to say if it is an aberration, this can only be an A, it must then be followed with a number to say which aberration it is.
Each set will have different letters that can be included.
First Set
Folklore (F), Original (O), Trauma (T), Event (E), Crossover (C)
Folklore: The same as Fairytale, however, this includes legends, mythology and such.
Original: Based on any sort of media, concepts that do not fall under any of the other letters
Trauma: Mainly Phobias, can also be for Triggering Concepts
Event: Based after certain historical periods, be it fictional or not, example, Three Kingdoms era of China, or the Void Century of One Piece
Crossover: Distortions that are based after other series characters who turn into a distortion from PM, say, if Sunny from Omori became The Pianist, other examples being a character becoming a Grimm from RWBY.
Second Set
Humanoid (H), Animalistic (A), Religious (R), Conceptual (C), Inanimate (I), Device (D), Stigma (S)
Humanoid: Distortions that are human like in form, does not matter if they are intelligent or not
Animalistic: Animal like, be it mythological creatures like dragons, or every day animals like a wolf. If it can be considered a Furry, it falls into the Humanoid category.
Religious: Religious related, any religions, can include heresy, satanical or even cult like followings
Conceptual: Abstract ideas, undescribable entities, concepts that do not have a form, or do not fall in any of the other categories
Inanimate: Distortions that turn into an object that is not machinery, can be an organic object such as plants, or materials that can be found in nature, such as rocks, unrefined metals.
Device: Machinery, man made objects, basically Inanimate, but meant for technological abnormalities
Stigma: Based on stereotypes, augmentation of certain aspects, usually negative of the distorted. Usually meant for distortions whose dialogue repeats the same concept again and again. Example, warrior who seeks honor, to the point it becomes a obsession.
Third Set
Personal Number
The number usually has a meaning behind it, but otherwise, it is not unique to each Distortion/E.G.O.
Risk Level
The system that I decided to base it after is the Chakra.
From lowest to highest, it would be, if names are too much for you, think of them as the color of the rainbow
Muladhara (Red): Lowest Risk Level, corresponds to Zayin, Grade 9 Fixers, usually "harmless" Distortions.
Svadishthana (Orange) Corresponds to Teth, Grade 7-8 Fixers. Can deal hefty damage to a group of unprepared opponents
Madipura (Yellow) Corresponds to He, Grade 5-6 Fixers, can wipe out an entire place if left unattended. Can be dealt with a specialized opponent, but will lead to guaranteed casualties otherwise.
Anahata (Green) Corresponds to inbetween He and Waw, Grade 3-4 Fixers. Needs a group of specialized agents to deal with.
Vishuddha (Blue) Corresponds to Waw, Grade 1-2 Fixers. Can destroy an entire section of a city, casualties can lead to the thousands or more, heavy damage to structures, and a group of specialized agents has high chance to contain casualties.
Ajna (Indigo) Corresponds to Aleph, Color Fixer or a Star of the City. Will be able to extinguish an entire sector of a country with enough time. Needs to be dealt with the best combatants.
Sahasrara (Violet) Corresponds to beyond Aleph, can be argued to be Impuritas Civitatis. Needs to be dealt with ASAP.
E.G.O Resources.
The seven deadly sins will be replaced with the elements from Genshin Impact. This is due to the fact that I have used them in While My World Shatters.
They will be replaced in the following way, each one had either reason or meaning behind why it replaces that one specifically.
Wrath: Pyro
Lust: Hydro
Sloth: Anemo
Gluttony: Dendro
Gloom: Geo
Pride: Cryo
Envy: Electro
And I think that is enough information for this guide.
